What a Great Flying Runway n Field you have there! i think the Crow Funtion should only be used while on the ground the slow the jet from running off the runway IMO its too scetchy flying it in that configuration

Hi Justin, do you also have the Freewing Mirage 2000? That's one of the best flying EDF I've had for a long time. I'm seriously considering the Rafale, and wonder how will it compare to the Mirage. My only turnoff on this model is the paint scheme. I want all my war-birds to be front-line fighters, not some airshow aircraft.
@@410productions3 Thanks for the insight. Good to know that the Rafale is heavier and larger than the Mirage. I guess it makes sense that the Mirage has more power/speed/vertical, considering the fact that they're both 80mm 6S jets. The Rafale might have been better off if it's a 90mm jet.
Not dumb at all. Think of a Delta wing with canards as going around a bowling ball. When you want to go up, the canard and elevator is like the bowling ball is sitting on top of the jet/surfaces and the surfaces are deflected to hold the ball in place like a stand. Opposite when you want to go down, with the airframe on top of the ball and surfaces deflected down.
What are your rates and radio set up I'm running a dx6 the Manuel from FMS doesn't give you any radio set up info got mine today and had the wrong set up and crashed appreciate any input to Tovar's Rc flight school
I have a feeling there are going to be a lot of torn up Rafales in the coming months. Some people are not going to take the time/understand how to properly set this model up, and well you know the rest!!!!!! Some will say its not a good flying model, all because they don't understand it. I guess we will see though!!!!

Works great in the air. You just have to know the limitations of the setup and use it correctly.

The “flaps“ will work better if you reduce the travel of the inner surface at the control horn. Maximize the surface travel on the outer elevon. 👍🏼

Mirage is way lighter and has way more power/speed/vertical.
I’m painting my Rafael in a tactical scheme too.

The manual is available online and has the rates. I fly mine on low aileron and medium elevator with 40% expo.
The manual doesn't give you directions to set up your radio like the eflight planes
