- Fms 80mm Rafale all stock! This plane in my opinion is rocksolid right out of the box. All the mixing was pre-done at the factory is very simple to build. Lotta great scale details and the appearance is flawless.

Nice flying! Cant wait to maiden mine this summer, I have the European version with the fms reflex v2 installed, its in a way installed so I cant put my 5000mah back enough...I guess I just rip it out and use a jeti rex assist receiver with it... 🤷♂️😎
Thanks Todd. Yours is the most helpful video I've seen on the Rafale based on my flying situation. I have one of these on order from Amazon. Everyone else was out of stock. It'll come from FMS this week so it will have Flex pre-installed. My plan is to move the receiver and Flex module forward of the battery tray so I can get the CG as close to the aft limit as possible. Regarding the Admiral haters, we all have an opinion. Personally, I just sold my iX12 and purchased an iX20. I've had more issues with my Spektrum receivers than the Admirals (made by Lemon) and Lemons. Just sayin'. Love your setup and I really enjoyed your straightforward style in reviewing the product. Thanks again.
Thank you for the kind words! I am just trying to give honest reviews on products for the general public. It is not an edited video so you actually get to see everything firsthand. I also do not work for the companies of the products that I fly. I really enjoy flying and anything that is Rc related and now I am really starting to enjoy making the videos and giving my opinion about the products from surface to air. I would love to get my channel out there and get more viewers! But Patience is the key.
@@cormierrctrailers5177 Roger that my friend. Nice to see the relatively short takeoff roll on grass similar to our field with a bone-stock Rafale. Your climate (and humidity) is close to ours in SC as well. I plan to add an RCGeek multiburner and thrust nozzles which should make takeoff performance even better, but the honest review of of the stock platform is a HUGE help to those of us whose runway surfaces are less than optimal. Keep it up brother!
Whats the maximum flight times on this jet? I estimated about 3 minutes based on this video.
Awesome video and aircraft! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 My advice for you and I hope that you take it seriously is to PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THOSE ADMIRAL RECEIVERS if you don't want to lose your beautiful jet!...I've lost 3 Airplanes due to lost of communication between my iX12 radio and those Admiral receivers with Gyro. PLEASE get something better like a Spektrum AR637T with AS3X and SAFE so you won't lose your plane due to sudden lost of connection.
I am working on putting my Rafale together this week and will Install a AR637T receiver on it in order to play SAFE...

Not with stock esc. IF u get the avian esc (100a are $120 USA), it's easy
Great video. Ordering my Rafael today. Does it have any type of Gyro or stabilization built-in? This will be my first airplane with reflex.
The reflex system is the Gyro system that is already in the airplane. You just have to follow the instructions and set it up accordingly it works great.
Nice review. Wondering if it sounds that "jet like" in person.
Louder stock. After installing rc geek's thrust tube, it sounds like a real jet
What duel rates and expo do you use
Loving this plane, just ordered one! Question, can you conventionally split the ailerons and the flaps, so it can be flown conventionally, or is it not necessary? Seems like a HUGE aileron. But I'm new to delta-wing EDFs. Also, on turns do you need to keep the throttle up to avoid stalling, like my Viper 90? My Viper 90 is far from agile or docile. Also, on your landing you didn't use flaps, or the crow mix?
Honestly it flies great the way it is! I’m very impressed with the easy set up on this one!
