I'll be damned if your views being different from mine will have any effect on the joy you bring me and everyone who loves the Triple threat Guy Pratt. When i hear one of the song you have showed us and played on i honestly listen to them differently now. And being a fellow BRIGHTONIAN. I first saw you with the musical love of my life which is as you may have guessed is Pink Floyd.. Mr Gilmour is my hero. Was live in Venis about 1989 i was 8 years old. I used to watch that concert on VHS everyday after school and floyd has been my no1 band since. Sorry for the essay! But HONESTLY thankyou for what you are doing and i hope it carry's on for a long time to come.

Depends, if someone like Roger Waters supports a criminal regime like Maduro's one I would get mad - I was born there and I had to flee as I was threatened by his colectivos whilst I was working for an ONG in 2013, on top of that they indirectly killed my father denying the access to medicines my brother sent from Madrid to him (Local customs returned his parcel valued in about 500 euros as they wanted to hide the truth about the humanitarian crisis as long as they could until it was too obvious to keep hiding it), they were almost impossible to find and if found sold between 10-30 times more expensive in the black market...It is easy supporting communism being so wealthy in a capitalist country!

Hi Guy, I discovered your youtube channel last night after years of watching the Pulse live show and trying to master your bass licks. My Dad recorded the Earls Court concert live off the BBC on VHS and told me on getting home from school one day in 1994 "watch this - this is an important part of your musical education". I was 12. I saved up and bought my first bass less than a year later, and wore out the VHS playing along and trying to sound authentic. Now I get to see how you really do it. Thank you so much for these great videos - keep them coming!

What a privilege to see and hear you do this. How have I missed this 2 year old video?
I'm a big fan of the Gilmour era of Pink Floyd and to me you, Gary Wallis and Tim Renwick are a fundamental part of it. I'm a music lover in almost all of its genres but Delicate Sound of Thunder is the album that really shaped the way I perceive music (an album not very much loved by David Gilmour these days, as I understand, but for me and many olhers a masterpiece of live modern music). Pulse kind of extended and reshaped the concept that Delicate Sound of Thunder had created.
Very nice to confirm that the joy you transmitted to the audience on stage is very real. This may not be your line originally but for my generation the way you play it, with your extra addings and that energy and liveliness, is the one that made Learning to Fly come alive.
    Thank you Guy!

If a viewer disrespects the creator of the video, particularly when they're they are an entertainer/musician, then the creator can decide sod this, he's not going to bust a nut creating and presenting for people who don't like his style.
