Have been trying to find some videos to find the top speed for this bike and really your the only one i have seen so far that has taken this bike for a real ride! as i said before great work!
Funny you mention this cause I actually want trade in my 600RR for one of these. Not sure if I’m just getting old or what but me having to go balls out all the time at excessive speeds to get some excitement ironically isn’t fun anymore.
You smoke the Duke in the twisties, the Duke makes up for it with HP in the straights. Plain and simple your lighter KLX is easier to fling around with a good set of street tires on it. Now imagine if Kawasaki made this into a 400 cc engine....Goodbye everyone!
I’m 160(lbs) and 16(Yo) and I can keep up with a Stage 1 Harley 103 Softail Slim to 60. This bike is fun, however it’s very controversial, I constantly have people saying stuff about how it’s not ok to go leg out on any corners. (I only stick my leg out on low speed corners where it gets kinda sketchy.)

Surprising how much fun you can have on a low displacement moto. Wouldn't be nearly as fun as say on a 600cc sportbike IMO

I just got a KLX 300. These days I prefer riding a smaller bike hard.

Yes, it has like 15 more hp. The klx rider is skilled and the duke rider is not making them seem a lot closer.
