I can offer a useful tip...
Remove the spring on the primary throttle plate that acts on the fast cold idle cam. While you will lose your fast cold idle, the engine will still start and idle just fine because the cold mix is still plenty rich to keep the cold engine running. It simply pops out with a needle nose pliers, but watch where it flies!
But that's NOT all that little spring does. Whenever you let off the throttle it retards the closing of primary butterfly for a "soft landing" so you get a lot LESS engine braking when headed into corners when the primary throttle plate is held open. Removing that spring allows the primary throttle plate to SOLELY be operated by the cables with ZERO input from the ECU.
    Trust me, you'll love it!
You will get immediate engine braking the instant you close the throttle without the ECU holding it open.
I'm the first one who has ever done this mod, so let me know what you think of it.

MOD's EJK tuner, Blue handle bars like yours, Delavic 8" stubby can, (real load) TST rear brake lights, Turn signals added water temp guage, and volt meter, airbox mod, up grade head light 4H and tinted yellow, did a custom carbon body dress up kit instead of pre-made. I have a Hiflofiltro air filter, KDX 200 snorkel, secondary throttle blade removed, EJK Delkavic slip on, lots of weight reduction, O2 sensor delete from peter over on facebook. The weird thing is that my bike wont hit over 90mph with all of that done too it. I am curious if I am running it too rich with my EJK. Also do you think I should remove my backfire screen?

Yeah, I will be taking a look at your track stuff but I'm too old for any of that now. But as I've looked at bikes I figured one
of the dual sports from the 350cc & down = which ever looks like it'll provide the most bang for the buck ! The KLX hits
in my top 3 so I've been checking them out. Tonight I learned about the "SM" version & I really thought you'd bought the
dual sport & modded it out, did a bunch of art, & walla.... an SM LQQKing bike? But then I double checked & saw that
they sell the SM model. I'll be researching to see the key differences between these two models but I guess the
basics are close to the same? Running into you might make me change from the dual sport to the supermoto
so go figure? I'm off right now to learn the basic differences including prices but I'll yell at you when I check
your racing out... thanks for the post... peace

It's an electronically operated throttle blade that sits in front of the primary one. It opens more slowly and less fully than the primary, until about 6000 rpms. It serves no purpose except to slow the bike down. Removing it will give you full access to all the power the bike makes in the low-mid rpm range, and also vastly improves throttle response.
