They played the entire Ride The Lightning, Master of Puppets and Black Album. Hurry up and do And Justice For All now
We need ajfa
But then Rob wouldn't have anything to do
@@JimBob-vb8oz him doing air guitar would be just perfect haha
@@JimBob-vb8oz fuck 💀😂
They have played AJFA in its entirety live. As have they KEA (don't forget it, its a good album)
Yall need to perform justice songs more often, at every show honestly. And no im not talking about "one"
one is their best song tho. i agree that more justice songs should be played. Dyer's eve!
koehler45 they play Harvester pretty often.
They just have sooo many amazing songs from the original albums that it's impossible to fit them all in an 18 song show.
100% songlist: Hardwired, 3 more from HTSD, One, NEM, MOP, Sandman, Unforgiven, S&D, Creeping Death, Sad, Bellz - that leaves 5 songs, normally 1 load/reload, F2B or 1 from St Anger, 1 early Thrash song, 1 from Justice/Black, and 1 random pick - therefore maximum 2 Justice songs could be played with their current tour format (exc One).
Justice's best (imo) songs are long and complicated, meaning they're an instant "no" in Lars' opinion.
Justice+TLITD require pre-recorded backing tracks too, which is extra fuss.
The fans that dislike the Justice album are a louder (albeit smaller) group of people, so they resist any slight urge to play it, except from the odd Harvester here and there.
That Fat Kid At Work and sometimes a cover
sick of hearing one and puppets and fucking sandman went to sm2-2 was hoping for more but they play it safe
I can't believe, I can't belive why a lot of people are still stuck in master of puppets, enter sandman, one, fwtbt etc. THIS song deserves to be in all "top 5 metallica songs" lists.
Maybe not top 5 but definitely one they should play more often, it’s amazing
@@ciaranhynes8690 yeah I'm tired of seeing master of puppets EVERYWHERE
@@iwawlvoyvoda5384 my brother, you have read my mind! it´s their best song in my opinion! absoutely love this masterpiece
It's a fan favourite. Who gives a shit what people who make "lists" think? Getting pretty annoyed by seeing people saying stuff is underrated on every song even if it isn't. You don't need confirmation if a song is good from some random youtuber's list.
It is a 10 minute song.
Props to rob for those vocals harmonies... and lars for remembering the song
lmfao
Lars still didn't play what was on the album exactly, pretty evident in the verse parts, although most of it seemed in time so still, that's pretty good.
David Pearson that is hard to look at. He should just chop it all off.
RichieRichOverdrive yeah he’s way too lazy to even bother working through all the AJFA complexities, his drumming is really at its best in that album.
Lars nailed it here
HALLS OF JUSTICE PAINTED GREEN!!!
"Money talking..." \m/!!
Power wolves beset your door
Hear them stalking!
Soon you'll please their appetite!
Hammer of justice crushes you, Overpower!
Lars: "Should I grow hair, or go bald?"
- Why not both?
Lmao
shit, i laughing so hard 😂😂
Hahahaha lol
Brilliant
Hahahahaa. But y’all don’t forget, he have the most beautiful hair in black album era, and early load era
5:33 literally the best part of the song
Always has been
I think 4:40 is the best
True😂
5:15
The whole song is awesome!
One of the best albums in music industry!!!!!!!
Agreed, it still kicks butt today, and will probably still be kicking butt 30 years from now.
People give it a hard time because of the lack of bass, but I've found that's what sets it apart from everything else that came out that time (Lars' drums are the equivalent of dirty sex on that album, too)
@@blackhathacker82 One is an awesome song I will give you that, but AJFA is a masterpiece.
And I will mention this... Look at the crowd, and look at Hetfield's eyes the first few minutes of this... This an amazing song, but the crowd is so still. Hetfield's eyes reflect that, like "crap, are they are into it or not?"... This song has a mathematical progression to it that most people just want to absorb, not necessirally bang their head to. It's a bit of a paradox but it is awesome to see them play this live.
Never bougjt any of theres since this tape came out was the last time i really liked them didnt care for the black album or load so i uavent bothered with any more since this one
Last time they played it live... I think it's really time they busted out some more Justice songs on their current tour. (Maybe even play Eye Of The Beholder, last time they played that in full was in '89).
Yeah! They so rarely play Justice songs I lost my MIND when they played the Frayed outro on Sandman in Minneapolis! I can't image how crazy I would go if they played the whole song!
Love beholder
Man, on their 2012 Mexico tour Kirk's started his solo with the intro of Beerholder, lost my shit because I thought they were going to play it
I think they played it for their movie Through the Never in 2013
Eye of the beholder would be awesome live
I can hear the bass!
Anok Stone And it sounds as if he is doing justice to Jason's parts especially the outro.
Grats? Now be a good teen and buy the remaster.
Lars has left the chat.
HA!
JUSTICE HAS BEEN SERVED
So true so reaaaal
what a nice comment to see
Hetfield for President!
Not for Jason:(
RIGHT HERE
RIGHT NOW
FOR YOU
this song never gets old!!!
nnneeeveeeer....
Best album of Metallica. Period
@@UmidHasanov So close between Justice, Ride and Puppets though.
@@leemcqueen500 absolutely agree, but AJFA was an eulogy for Cliff and damn, vand delivered their grief. Yet, initial 4 albums of metallica are just pinnacle of thrash metal without slightest doubt.
Its Old Stuff from Them, But The Energy of this Song still always Young , God bless Metallica Fans & Family, Can't Wait to see you back to Jakarta - Indonesia
Kirk's solo here is note for note like on the album. Well done mr. Hammett
Soldier Woods he so inconsistent, bang on here though
Mmm i don't think so
Not note for note, but it was spot on. If that makes sense. I'd go so far as to say he nailed it, and he doesn't nail anything anymore. Kirk and Lars are always fucking things up, but this video went surprisingly well!
Stand up guy he is... dorky as he may be lol
You know they're getting sloppy when you need to congratulate them for playing their own song properly.
my favorite Metallica song of all time.. so Epic, but I'd wish they'd play the opening themselves!
For songs like Battery and Justice they can't play the openings themselves cause they are layered tracks, in Battery I believe there were 4-5 acoustic guitars and I believe 4 guitars involved with the Justice opening.
Mine too. Just pure heavy metal greatness!
One of my favourites
@@dawgthm4277 The harmonic parts of this song in the album version also has 3 guitars being played, so I think they could play the opening
my favorite sounds on the planet
One of the best solos by Kirk ever. 4:50
If people observe clearly, this song only makes it because Kirk is perfect here... A legend alive. It's very difficult to do the 'Metallica' rythms and then switch to 'Hammett' solos like he does!
It takes some incredible skill to be able to keep up with James Hetfield for 5 minutes, rip a minute long solo as good as that, then go back to keeping up with James for the last 3 minutes. And do that for 2 and 1/2 hours a night.
no, not at all, I, as an OBSERVER, observe, the synergy of the entire band, HARMONY. it is not 'difficult' for Metallica, it is a matter of practice, Lars has to be on point, and here he is.
From one drummer of thirty plus years, Lars killed it here. For the thousands of shows he’s played since the early 80’s, Lars has my respect. Not many drummers can say they’ve played as many shows or toured as hard as Lars Ulrich. Keep on rocking drummer brother! 🤘🤘
This is one of the best live performances I've ever seen from Metallica.
I love this fucking track man
Kirk’s divebomb is the best thing I’ve ever heard!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
and the following camera position of lars is insane as well!
Nils-rocks [] Oh Yeah Just Love it 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

Best part of the solo
Wow Kirk Hammett played a solo live like it was played on the album? Amazing! Rare these days
Lol dude stfu ...you only wish you were Kirk

IMO a bit overdone but I still love this song.

They need to perform this live more
Just imagine if the original studio album had the jaw-dropping bass from this live performance. I don't think any living human being could physically handle such power...
well... there's a version called And Justice For Jason
@@Helena-gk4ui and it sounds like shit
That could be the best live performance of justice I've ever witnessed.

Lucky you 😄 Well I saw them in the 90s when they played here in Albuquerque New Mexico United states of America 🇺🇸 it was a kick ass show. But the downer is that they didn't come back 😳
@@maggiebritton2819 I feel you but I was way too young to go see them in the 90s
... And Justice for Bass!
Most bands slow down with age. Metallica gets faster with each passing year.
Silvano G. Perez lol I love em but look at their performances in the mid to late 80’s and tell me they’re faster today
@@BruceWayne-zj1kw they're slowing Down but can still thrash it up
“we'll never stop, we'll never quit, 'cause we're Metallica”
Lars is actually getting better at keeping time so that's why they are faster but they can also keep it up. Listen to One in Seattle '89 and listen to it today
Look at Pearl Jam
When they play even flow now it’s at like 500% speed
One of MetallicA's most complex songs and they played it perfectly!!! Kirk nailed the solo perfectly, Robb played the bass real cool, James flawless as usual and Lars did a great work in the drums. Awesome song.
And Justice for All is my all time favorite Metallica song. Epic masterpiece is the only way to describe it.
This is the magnum opus from Metallica, "The shortest straw" has one of the most badass riffs of all time, my favorite album from Metallica!
4:47 Man, It would have been crazy to have this in the original recording
Kirk played his solo really well. Cool.
This song is where it all began for me way back in 8th grade in 1988. I couldn’t quit smiling while watching this. I’m mainly a first 5 albums guy, but I can’t believe how far they’ve made it!
This is the only performance where they truly nail the song in my opinion 🤘🏻🏛🔎💵💰
Michael Holmgaard came here to say this. Gøran hasn’t watched enough Metallica if he thinks this is them nailing this song
Ever or just this song? They never play this song, but if you mean ever, not true
Through the Never's version was amazing
Michael Holmgaard blackened was sloppy af in Seattle though.
@@MichaelHolmgaard Yup...
8:40 Love that bass line ♥
The forbidden instrument
Love how much they're enjoying themselves ❤️
I literally went there on my at 18 and traveled from Toronto to Montreal just to see my favourite band by my self. Most incredible experience ever when two random brothers invited me to push my way with them to the front where I got to experience the whole show. I’m 23 now looking back at that it was probably the coolest thing ever! What an adventure. I’d do anything to see them again!
The best song from the album and the best song that Metallica ever made. This song has everything what I'm expecting from every great song.
Goddamn I would kill to see this live
Everyone did fantastic here! Vocals, bass, and rhythm guitar are great as usual, Kirk ripped this solo a new one, I'm so proud! And Lars really took the cake here
My favorite Metallica song ever. I wish they played it more
Please Metallica...play this again! More Justice!
5:35 is insane
Arski That bit is a danger for necks and backs
Prob my fav part of the whole song tbh
Young boy... listen do dimebag's dives... kirks a kid
Alejandro Hetfield not the dive the riff after it with Lars hitting the cymbal,
That hit of the drum and BOOM! Almost breaks my neck.
Most fans will say that MOP is their favorite Metallica album... mine is Justice, I just love the riffs, the lyrics and overall vibe of the album.
Back when Lars was rocking the Skullet.
Shadows Dark good thing Hogan didn't join the band we'd have 2 skullets
4:48 honestly James shouting "And Justice For All" combined with this epic riff afterwards makes this addition just perfect. This has been my favourite song for a long time now, but with this addition, it makes it even better :)
i swear they sound better live now then they ever did . sounds better then studio versions.
I wish they would play this masterpiece more often
It’s one of the greatest songs Metallica has ever done
Unbelievable rendition. So tight on such a complex tune. Great power in James' vocals. Loved it
Holy shit. This is seriously some of the best live Lars drumming I've ever heard. 21 years of loving this band.
This song is just perfection
7:05 Show 'em Lars !!!
Look at those drumming guns... damn
Lars is beast
@@jamesmcivor340 @Daniel Hsu Indeed he is, and in this performance...flawless
@@strahilvasilev8209 can't wait til they return to Scotland, still kick ass after 30+ years it's amazing
@@strahilvasilev8209 flawless by what measure? If you compare it to the album version he basically changed half of the song by changing the kick pattern. maybe im going deaf, but to me it sounds completely different. not bad, he clearly tries some new little snare fills in this version, but very different feel, almost like its going more..forward, i dont know. but someone with music theory prob could put some words to it.
Wow, that was note for note perfect. Kirk Hammett still has it, great solo.
David Lynn it wasnt note perfect but good nuff for kirk
@@byronboost I'd say more than good enough, he really almost got it note for note
James is such an underrated singer. He sounds very good even after all these years. Jesus, they absolutely killed it!
It's amazing to come back from the death of a member and have the best album in history 🤘🤘
Gotta love them suddenly switching to No Remorse at the very end.
They should play this live more often.
Holy fuck! That is a insane performance! Doing that shit live is no joke! Amazing!
They sounds really good here. Great vocals and clean guitar.
"We' ll never play that fucking song again"
Ha! Those were once the words
It's amazing how good this sounds for a 2014 recording. Nice job in the mixing!
I think they're remixing the original live recordings.
Nicolás Manzo They heavily edited Lars’ drums to make it sound like Hardwired. I was there and I remember they didn’t sound anything like this lol the toms were more high pitched and the snare had less body. Search CZcams there’s a video they uploaded from this show 4 years ago of battery and four horsemen. That’s what Lars’ drums actually sounded like live
I hope they had good recordings in 2014, you know, it was so long ago. I agree though, sounds good.
They got Greg Fidelman to remix it, top to bottom.
I don't understand this comment. As a 25 year guitarist and gear nerd, i assure you the ability to film and record live at the professional level was just as good in 2014 as it is now.
One of the best times of my life! Always feel so fortunate that I’ve heard all those live by request at that time. I could always say I’ve heard Orion live ☺️
Nobody else rocks like this today, period.
Greatest band ever. And still killin’ it live
I am back in 1988 - ahhhh the glory days! I had to have listened to this album thousands of times!
The sound mix is nice! Rocks 🔊
Love Metallica
That bass during the ending. This is why I love it when they play and justice for all songs. I hear the bass!
The energy of the _Live Shit: Binge & Purge_ shows was insane.
Back then you felt as if Metallica could be a literal steamroller that would descend from the stage and flatten everything in its path.
For this performance being decades later after that... it's pretty good. The day after my birthday too :p
👍🏼 to Mr. Greg Fidelman (sound)
This song is so relevant nowadays!..HALLS OF JUSTICE CRUSHES YOU. OVERPOWER!..so true!
When it comes to their 80s albums title tracks , justice always gets forgotten behind lightning and master. Granted those are all time great songs, but this is fantastic as well
NOTHING CAN SAVE YOU!
Justice is lost
Justice is raped
Justice is gone
Pulling your strings,

Best version ever
The best version of this song I have ever heard/seen live! Thank you MetallicA!
Wow, I haven’t seen this performance before. This sounds amazing!
My God, they sound great here !
One of best live performances.. Very details
I love how Kirk's mouth goes on with his Wah sound at 5:25 haha
He uses his mouth as a wah pedal
Ever seen Bad Horsie by Steve Vai?
Damn this is one of the best performances of the song I've ever heard! Kicked ass...
I like they played it little faster because one of the reason they don't play this song anymore is they don't want the crowd to be bored cause it's so long.
My favorite song on 'Justice'. That gets played at 11 every time it comes on in my car.
I think this is the perfect metal song. It does not get better than this. And it’s a crime how rarely they play it.
It’s my all-time all favorite Metallica song. I have NEVER heard it live and it fuckjng kills me
I bet The Unnamed Feeling acousticly would sound awesome aswell
This is hands down the best version of ajfa
This version of the song is amazing. I think this is one of their best songs when its played like this
Absolutely nailed it! One of the best versions of this stone cold classic, everyone on point. Well done lads ;)
That look of Swagger at 5:34 when you know you just Nailed the solo
Dammit son! Jaymez' note selection in the vocals during the chorus is sickbad!!
This song blew me away when I first heard it
This song is a masterpiece
Man, I'm about to see them live for the first time in my life in a couple of days. Haven't slept well during the past nights because I'm so anxious to get there already.
Then covid showed up LOL
@@rafaelfliperama Luckily that was in 2019 and I got to see them play.
I completely understand why so many artists use LED video walls at live shows, but unfortunately none of the kids at this show will leave with their jaws on the floor, like I did, after seeing Lady Justice crumble on stage and the lighting truss swinging over the drum kit. The Justice tour had one of the best stage sets of all time.
4:38 Metallica were the masters.
Really like the idea of a funny gag where Metallica just puts the No Remorse ending at the end of every song, including the Load, Reload, and St. Anger stuff.
On a serious note, my favorite song by these guys, best song these guys ever wrote, on one of if not the best albums in history, and these guys just de-fuckin-stroy this audience with this amazing treat. These guys got so lucky. Long live Metallica!
