It’s obviously that they’re technically better than youngsters, almost 40 years experience of playing instruments, singing and coming up with songs in their original style, which hasn’t changed since it was thought out and debuted - all these things left their fingerprint on minds of Metallica guys.
The most curious thing is that they haven’t lost the youthful fire in eyes, Their faces are still flushing while they’re standing on the stage and rocking - at least what about playing live, sorrowful to accept the fact that they’re outdated to write some cool new stuff, because all lustful content of their souls have already been released into music, and music damn bright , amateur and emotional, now it’s rather calm.and much less aggressive.

I grew up with Metallica. I'm an 80's kid. But I'm not going to sit here and pretend like they aren't getting old. I mean 'cmon. Lars drumming is getting lazier and lazier. Jame's voice isn't the same. Are you going to sit here and try to convince us that Lars is a better musician than Gene Hoglan or Chris Adler? If you believe that than you are fooling yourself. Metallica are legends in Metal but they aren't infallible.

One of their best and most slept on songs. A little slower but I love the lyrics and how god damn heavy this is. Sucks they waited this long to really start having this song on the set list.

They could play just as fast as Slayer but Metallica was really built to play heavy songs and their compositions were more complex. My favorite off MOP.

Yep. From the start of their US tour last year, their sound altered very noticeably, and for the better. The guitars actually sound heavy again. I was on the London show in 2017 and it was my 4th gig,and l thought l will shit myself of this song sound! It was so heavy so deep sounded,extra more better than on record,lm chasing these videos now where they played this song!Of course it doesn't sound as good as live when the vibe went through your body

Every show has been like that, I blame the high ticket prices pricing out true fans. I saw them in London and everyone seated was like that, and many standing weren't giving much either. Shame.
Thats not a young crowd anymore going nuts for 2 hours....and the layout of the arena also plays a factor

i just heard it and its really weird, you can see both his legs moving, and you can hear half the kicks perfectly but the other half they are almost impossible to hear, someone really screwed up that mic on the second bass drum.

Glad to see they played this song somewhere! Just saw them on September 8th in the US. This is the song my dad really wanted to hear, but they didn't play it. It was a great show though regardless. Funnily enough as we were driving home, Leper Messiah came on the radio lol. My dad took me to my first Metallica concert when I was 11 and then took me to this second one 14 years later.

I was there and I was very dissapointed with attitude of other fans on seats. I felt like I am the only one with my hand up, whistling, yelling, headbanging and singing along James. Of course there were more like me there but it was just fraction of all people. I think that people who watch live concert of Metallica like it was some funeral dont deserve to be there. You can clearly see them in this video. Sad indeed.

Man, I just wanted to have a good time and rock out you know? Concerts these days are shit. Nevertheless, it was an honor to see this band live
