4 years later...i find Ignis has becomr more matured and more value for money!
Among the both which has the best AC performance during peak summers of 40+ temperature.
if i would have to choose between both these car in top end varient i will choose i10 but in lower varients i would choose ignis since it has standard safety features
I went for ignis because i10 grand doesn't have ABS in its basic versions. Ignis has better safety and features.

Hi am about to choose between Tiago i10 grand and ignis. With discounts all three cost similar. I am worri D about average of i10 g ... Have you calculated via tankful method . What's i10 mileage in city . In my city Chandigarh there is One minute traffic light every 1 km but traffic isn't bumper to bumper

ashu kumar The refinement of Petrol Grand i10 is just exemplary. Diesel will never give you that refinement. Diesel is justified if you regularly drive more than 1500 km per month. For the difference of over 1 lakh on road price you need Atleast 30000 kms to just cover that difference, apart from interest rates and higher maintenance costs of the diesel.
So decide accordingly and let us know your decision.

I 10 looks good but when we drive in rough road of India ignis is far better than i10 because of it's 180 mm ground clearance .

good engine with good confort, body built is better than best driving with cheap plastic and pathlaa steel exterior body.
so my verdict is ... just with 20k extra grand i10 is way meture car than ignis
They were giving 90k discount for the grand i10 but I bought the ignis with 20k discount .... Because AMT is better than 4speed automatic ... Between interiors will last for the life time of the vehicle... We Donot buy based on only interiors but overall package....ur review is building at the end but good in the length except the end

Grand i10 is selling 13000 units per month, where as ignis is selling only 3000 units. That too ignis is available in petrol auto and diesel auto. It is not because of limited nexa dealerships because Baleno is selling around 14000 cars every month. It is the poor design and high price of ignis
You forgot to told launching date of the ignis.By the way Ignis is far better than grand i10 . After 3 yrs ignis sell touch 10000.
I also think grand i10 is better then ignis BUT when i get test drive ignis my thought are completely change, there is no where grand i10 in safety, fuel efficiency and front-back seat comfort. Grand i10 has only advantage is just simple look who attract Indian buyers. Otherwise there is nothing in grand i10 and don’t forget that grand i10 comes from 2013 with old platform and ignis comes with all new heartect platform with standard safety features like ABS, airbag, ebd. Forget look, go for safety.
People in favour of ignis i know its good but be a driver and also a passenger you will surely feel why i10 is far better. on i10 both passenger and driver can ride for longer the comfort levels are far better and engine on both are equally refined

if you decide petrol vehicle near 7-8 lakh budget, nothing is better than baleno delta/zeta.
I 10 always the option.. koriyan car maker are excellent...if you want to go for Indian car ...no doubt Tiago is better than ignis

Width of i10 is 1640 mm and Ignis is 1690 mm I don't understand how the rear space is bigger in i10...completely biased and non scientific description and misguided to public.
