LOL Man, here on Brazil, the Kwid doesn't have that lack of power that the indian version has. In fact, it comes with 4 airbags and has a 3 star rating on Latin NCAP. My Kwid has a 1.0L SCe engine, with 9,8 pound-meters of torque, while having 70 HP, still being very economic. With gasoline, 100kph, 5th gear, the car did 22 km with 1L of fuel. It's really economic, ergonomic, safe, eyecatching and somewhat comfortable, though I would disagree with you guys on the steering wheel lightness. It is just awesome at civic course and on the highway. BTW, the car is criticized for being too small on the back. Three adults can't ride confortably on the back seat. Anyways, thanks for the comparison and keep up with the good quality vídeos.

I have a kwid and eon, both are good externally but eon is focused on aesthetics inside and kwid being like sporty inside

Kwid or ion might have more space. But it's finally the overall performance , maintenance , trust and resale value that counts.

I somewhere feel like alto is a good decent Guy who always got ditched by a girl. (you are nice, you are decent but i just don't want you :P )
Alto is not decent, but pretends to be until the marriage is sealed. After that it will nag you to death and its true, uncouth nature will be exposed.

i won the eon the old one, i think its the best, looks awesome is good for city use and will give really good mileage! the only problem for me with the eon is the gearbox! the 800s is so smooth! i havent driven the kwid so idk much about it! i still think the eon with the kappa engine is the best car for ctiy use!
I Would like to share few things thru my point of View
Maruti
Pros: It has the good reliable engine and Nationwide Service Support
The design of the car is very old design. The Interior is not up to the mark
Kwid :
Pros : SUV look Design
Engine seems to be noisy and if you sit inside the u can feel the poor plastic quality
Eon
Pros Fludic Modern Design, Space inside the car And the Interior is Just Wow Premium Everywhere
Gear could be smoother
I would prefer Eon and the car is Awesome

I feel there is no need to focus on bluetooth and touch screen. Airbags, seat adjustment, mirrors, space etc.are features which a car owner would care more.

Eon is the best among these.....there r lack of service centers for kwid and I highly doubt about its safety because of its extra light weight and I heard this car has engine problem....and most of people sell this car after using year or twice so....by looks,engine performance, mileage , space(not bigger than kwid) it's best choice and yeah the main thing the trust of Hyundai...
What about service centres
Pity on Maruti,despite being in India for over 30 years Maruti is still giving Indian consumer a car thats structurally not even stable as a telephone booth, such a pity, they never care about lives but more about money
Kwid,Eon are products that are born due to Alto being so dead cheap and un safe makes other brands too think, Y make safe cars for India when best seller isnt even scooter crash safe

No car in that price range is safe because the biggest seller is not safe, remember all other brands are taking safety for granted in that segment because Maruti dosent car em then why should others?
I say Maruti is the brand thats been in India for over 30 years and should it be the 1 to show other brands how to build safe cars?
Should it b the brand that should b able to make safe cars in that segment with over 30 years of experience?
Instead its brands like Ford,VW thats teaching lessons and taking the pain of less sales to make Indian car buyer better, pity on Maruti

I regret buying alto 800, it's not good at all, i bought eon in 2012 and it's still good till 2018 also, no issue nothing but always as smooth as when it was new.

Those are just at the concept stage. The Easy-R (AMT) variant will be launched by mid 2016, but it'll be some time before we can hope of seeing those two concepts on the road.
+aashrith kumar the styling on those cars was amazing. I wish they would've launched those in the market. I don't mind paying a whole lakh extra for that.

+Devi Guru Prasad Narkedamilli important is interior just modify are you buying for yourself or for people ,I have modify my wagon r in this way whole black interior black seat,dashboard and 2 screen attached for back seat entertainment and best part is it comes with two option in 1 car use LPG in cities which is very cheap to drive and if you need power switch to petrol and best thing there is no cylinder in boot

That 60k extra bucks gives a lot of options to upgrade stuff on the kwid. The looks are really awesome and it has indeed shaken the segment. It is no longer going to be how Maruti treated segments saying "this is what I give take it or leave it".
Out of the three, Kwid is miles ahead.

the test vehicle I drove was brand new but still the AC knobs etc were already loose

Sir. All three are under powered, but the Kwid has the best power output as well as the best power to weight ratio among the three. All completely new models suffer from some initial quality issues and manufacturers iron them out . If the Kwid breaks you can fix it, but how can you fix the severe space constraints of the Alto/Eon and their awful styling.
Very practical car. And honestly, aren’t we all bored of the same old Alto and Eon? I am not saying that they are bad cars, but isn’t it good to see something fresh? Kwid has the potential to break some records.

Is it true Kwid have manufacturing defects ? KWID have problem in Rainy season the front boot and rooftop starts leacking water ? Is it true some news channels hve covered the story

Manish K yes it is true ...water sometimes come out from AC panel in heavy rain drive .. it is a malfunction.. also the road confidence is too poor.. Alto is best out of all three
At last , the Indian roads will look beautiful with more Kwids . No more gremlin or alien look alikes !!!!!!

A car must have minimum of 1000cc. 800cc is not convenient

the main things which matter for car is the engine and build quality. These two quality are lacking in kwid. So you people are believing only on looks and came to a conclusion that kwid is best.
I don't think its only the styling - People are tired of the cramped , ugly interiors, with high rear window lines of the Alto. I know for a fact that many people get car sick travelling at the back of an Alto/Eon. Renault's quality will improve with time. Any completely new model will have initial minor quality issues. I think the Kwid is still worth it as it will certainly improve the quality of lives of the masses with its comfort levels and extra room.
the Kwid is a piece of crap. Bought one in feb 2016 and broke down after 200 kms. had the car towed to the service centre wher I was informed the gear cable was broken and replacement would take one week which it did. car now has done 500 kms and city milliage is 8 km/l not the 24 Renault claim
Nxt time buy a car with minimum of 1l engine.
