Also thank you for bringing Phoenix Rising to my attention. I am definitely going to be watching it. I have been a die hard Marilyn Manson fan since I was a young teen. I have also seen him live several times. When the allegations came out I will admit I brushed them off and didn't look into it. There was so much going on with cancel culture I didn't know what to believe. I would like to hear her side of the story and find out what went on. The last thing I want to do is continue supporting a monster. 😪

I liked the movie a lot! My only complaint was the same, just not enough time. If you haven't read the book, deeeefinitely check it out. The movie is good but the book is great and the pacing is magic.

The exorcism of Emily Rose is one of the first horror movies I ever saw! I remember my mom renting it when I was a kid and sneakily watching it through her bedroom door with my sister. I’m now obsessed with horror but even after all this time I still I haven’t rewatched it

I watched Windfall. Love Jason Segel, so really wanted to see him in this darker role. Like you said, I wanted more from the ending. But at the same time, I thought that it was a good way to bring the realism back. As you're watching Lily and Jason's character get closer, the ending was a good slap in the face, I thought. Came away overall pleasantly surprised.

Fresh was so disturbing and so much fun, haha I loved it. Also really enjoyed No Exit, even though it felt a bit rushed. It's based off a book, also called No Exit by Taylor Adams, and the book is killer. Definitely worth a read, if you're interested. I couldn't put it down. Love these monthly vids!

Repo is definitely nostalgia, wrapped in a riddle, wrapped in an enigma. I wasn't quite sure what I was getting into upon first watch, but upon second? It became my favorite movie of last year and my current favorite piece of musical theater. ❤️💛 Also Terrence Zdundich as Graverobber and Paris as Amber? just ugh.... so hot. 🤤

I actually first heard about it in one of your videos, and now it has been quite noticed in the Swedish media. I liked it a lot. It was different and claustrophobic, yet very simple. It would be interesting to hear your thoughts about it.

@@spookyastronauts I agree. The ending should have been longer and more detailed to make it all come together. Now it ended a bit abruptly. Still, it was nice to see a story told with very small means. And I really like the actress, Cecilia Milocco.

The Station Eleven book and show really are different but they have the same sort of vibe, so if you enjoyed the show, I recommend the book wholeheartedly.

Phoenix Rising is going down tonight. I remember when ERW met MM and they were a public thing. And even at that point I had a really bad vibe about this. I remember feeling sad for her and wondering why. It was very clear at that point that he was a freak in the worst sense of that term. And she was a young actress with so much promise. Thanks for the heads up on this and several others that caught my eye.
I love how Regina Hall has been in more and more films lately! I love her and I find her so talented, super happy to see her in films and media these days :)

I want to know what happens in the Evan Rachel Wood documentary because I love her as an actress. However, I do not have a stomach for real life horror. Marilyn Manson was my favorite band back in the mid 90s. What a shame. I hope she is ok.
