Several of the victims had fibers like his vehicles, home carpet, bedspread, fibers from his blanket in his bedroom and dog hairs that could not rule out his dog. Two of the victims blood types were found in his vehicle (one of them only having a blood type B, which is only 7% of the population). Eye witnesses who testified they saw him with several of the victims before they were murdered. Do I think he's guilty? Yep. I'm not convinced he did ALL of the killings, especially the two girls and I do believe they need to reopen several of the cases to be sure and use any DNA available.
No doubt, I was about 7 or 8 growing up in Atlanta during the time of the Wayne William murders.. crazy shit , it was like 1980 . There was so much evidence and they wanted to create some kind of fake white guy being the killer. The thing is the murders stopped after they caught Wayne Williams.

The reason for no DNA release, probably has to do with the fact of the lack of evidence or state in which it was preserved. It was the 80s. However , the amount of circumstantial evidence pointed to him being the number one candidate, then add the little evidence that attached him to at least two crimes … you don’t let the man attached to two crimes and circumstantial evidence off when 20 something kids got murdered. You can get a practical understanding of how he was taken in on the Mindhunter series. No one else showed up driving around for weeks until they pulled him over .

Richard Ramirez Night Stalker case was botched in fact in 1984 DNA was in it's infancy and not used in court cases until mid 1990's , Richards 2008.apeals (25) yrs after his conviction proved 6 rape / murder victims hair blood and vaginal swabs were negative and NOT a match to Richards blood - type and specimen taken from him ,However Richard died in 2013 so it never came out until after he died , when a lot of people ripped him apart including the Homicide detective who then put out a Netflix Nightstalker series and many of the facts had changed ......
No he's not guilty, there's no proof of dna, Plus think about the klansmen who nobody thought of.why? because they know how to cover their tracks very well.
I have only followed this since "mind hunter", but since then I been reading countless articles, videos, movies, about it I believed he was innocent. I believe the DNA exonerates him, however they will come back with it being inconclusive.
