You bring up a good point about The Making a murderer filmmakers. Without them, no one would know anything about this case. All of Steven Avery's little girlfriends would not be in the picture and Kathleen Zellner may have never been sought out.
Even though Krapz filed the subpoena, there's no doubt in my mind the ENTIRE legal team for the State were involved. Since they were involved in putting Steven away, they were concerned they might not have covered all bases & didn't want anything to be out there they didn't already have a defense for. While they wanted to prevent ANYTHING to be out there, they never in their wildest nightmares ever expected something that MaM turned out to be!
239 DVD's, Can you imagine how many researchers/youtubers/armchair sleuths want those now? Even if it was all cut down to two seasons I'm sure there was stuff that was left out that didn't seem to be of interest to the filmmakers but may be important. Like a cop that took a picture of the burn pit on Nov 6 that doesn't show any bones in it. Seemingly not important at first, until you realize cops said there were visible bones in it then, then all the "evidence" starts magically appearing the next two days. If not for MaM most of the world would not even know about Steven Avery or Brendan Dassey or Teresa Halbach.

I'm from Eagle River WI, and also in the auto salvage business. I never believed SA or BD did it. My Grandparents were up in Door County at the time, so Grama watched all the garbage fake news from the Green Bay stations, n gave me all the updates. NOT ONCE did I ever think they may have done it. It just stinks like bullshit from the very start. I wonder if we'll ever learn the truth about what happened?
