NileshJi.. Your analysis can also be supported with Devi Bhaghvatam. In Devi Bhaghvatam, it is said that Rama performed Devi Navaratri pooja (Sharad Navaratri) on the guidance of sage Narada, in Rushyamukha parvata (in today’s Karnataka)..If that is accurate, then Rama would not have killed Ravana on Vijaya Dasami, since building Rama setu and reaching Lanka would not have happened overnight. Your analysis can be supported by Devi Bhaghvatam, as well. My hypothesis is that, may be Rama’s victory ( Vijaya) is attributed to performing the Devi Puja during Navaratri ( per Narada’s narration of the benefits of doing the Puja). Probably over time this got distorted to say Rama got the victory on Dasami , when probably the original anectodes intent was to convey that Rama has been victorious because of performing the Devi Puja for 9 days… My 2 cents, not backed by objective evidence….sorry…Thanks for your research and detailed explanation.
I have not come across any error-free translation of Valmiki Ramayana. The trick is to use at least 4-6 different translations + do your own translation.

I remember somewhere I was reading there is huge difference between western Gregorian Calendar and our lunar calendar with astronomical calculations ...So what maah we see today according to a month in Gregorian calendar was different ....Gregorian calendar cannot be a basis for calculation to find any ancient astronomical date ...This eventually gave rise to huge confusions & distortions with time

@@NileshOak Namaskar sir ,what I mean when approximately 5000 years difference between Shree Rama and Shree Krishna so Treta youga and Dwapara Yuga must have same 5000 years difference but yuga calculation tells something else, how we can relate each other? 🙏🙏

@@NileshOak thanks a lot 🙏 . I read it twice. I like very much the Sanskrit slokas there with chanting of each sloka. The problem that I have with the site is with their poor Old English Language translations of Sanskrit. There are many old English words difficult to read and understand. And many misspellings. For people in general it is a very difficult read. Nevertheless, I’m very glad it’s there.

It is indeed confusing and will remain so until folks understand precession of the earth and Julian and Gregorian calendars.

If Rama returned in Chaitra maah, vaishakh, than he can kill Ravana in Sharad Vijayadashami day, coz to return home by walking up from down South it ll take so many months when jungles were dense n more..
I don't understand it why people don't correct things if there is some correction needs to be made, ain't it foolishness to remain Egoistic n continue a wrong timing practice, if it's wrong. Also, why people still call this YUGA KALIYUG, it ain't possible for this age to be Kaliyug.. It's ENERGY AGE and raise of consciousness where many r reaching and many are trying to move upwards in consciousness and knowledge, understanding level, self realisation etc.. In dark age its access was limited to only few n concealed coz of destruction, lower conscious minds won't understand n ridicule, distort n burn or destroy just like invaders did.. So secrecy was kept which is not the case now.. Now if people want they can excess to all things and whatever they wish to study. So, we are on ascending side, Dwapar Yug.
As Bengali, we celebrate amavasya Kali puja and 14(choudow) baati(diya), for 14 purbopurush(ancestors), vidhi on that day, so, we light diyas throughout the house and crack few firecrackers which is optional, most of us dont.. We attend or do Kali puja, vrat n even few do small cultural function, like we used to do n celebrate it.
Rama returned to Ayodhya on Pushpaka vimana, they did not walk back. They halted at many places for many days before reaching nandigram. You should read the ramayana to understand this.
Yes taking help of Mata Kali and Satyabhama killing Narakasur is related in some puranas on this Amavasya so in eastern parts in many places Kali puja is done ,& Satyabhama was daughter of Aditi ,as she was also wife of Sri Krishna she was incarnation of Mata Lakshmi so Lakshmi is also done
