In general, as one who have followed several channels about tech... I've noticed an increase in DRAMA, in the style of (day 1 AMD will swipe the floor with Intel), (day 3 - AMD fails in deluvering), day 5 AMD faster than anyone thought, day 7 AMD poor performance...
This IN GENRAL is clickbait and DRAMA just to try to get views (no matter the facts).
To raise critque towards this kind of behaviour is not to be a hater!

@@John.Philip.Tan876 Well you can't blame those countries, like USA(lol or you could). However, it's really because each of their state have different tax laws. So they can't universally give the exact price. Only the before tax price are provided and depending which state they are, the taxes on that state are applied. But if you get used to it, you can pretty much give a ballpark estimate on how much the tax would be from the msrp. As for countries like Philippines, who only follow one taxation law, stores and businesses can and do provide after tax pricing onset.

I don't think so but regardless of how bad their RMA process was they still have some great products. I have never been disappointed by their monitors because I first bought one of their gaming monitors in around 2016-17 and because I liked the OSD I kept sticking to the brand and never had any factory induced damage and never had to RMA them. I have also used 2 motherboards and 3 GPU's previously from them without faults. IMO Samsung is much worse than Asus. They have terrible SSD's and literally ghost customers who send emails to try and get an RMA. I had a Samsung SSD with a 5 year warranty and it failed and I lost my data (I got it in August 2021 and it died August 2022 and when I first tried to use it my PC didn't recognise it till I reinserted my old drive and had both running side by side as I wanted to use the Samsung as my primary since it was a 2TB Gen 4 and my old was a Corsair 1TB Gen 3 which still works today I wanted a Gen 4 drive for a Gen 4 compatible CPU and GPU and I decided to leave my old SSD in as I thought it was a BIOS or software bug and left it alone because I was tired of troubleshooting and a year later during a CSGO match my PC crashes and then bootloops non stop and it wasn't until I pressed the power button did it stop bootlooping and when it did I could no longer load Windows and a message would come up telling me to repair Windows with a USB drive which did nothing and after a complaint they ghosted me after a couple of emails with proof and it had a 5 year warranty which did supposedly cover my issue and then early last year I see tech news videos of Samsung 980 Pro SSD's with high failure rates and scores of unhappy customers and this was not the first Samsung SSD to have a major fail rate and that was a SATA SSD from like 5 years ago which received a similar response and their website sucks for Warranty claims because it just has an email address they tell you to message with proof of purchase and photos as well as a description of the problem and with the 2 times I have dealt with Corsair RMA they have been so helpful and refunded me/sent a replacement fast within a day or so of receiving my faulty item. I did once RMA an Asus MOBO in like 2020/21 and get a refund for it which I spent on an even better MOBO from them that happened to be on sale for almost the price of the cheaper one but the replacement still didn't work till I realised my Corsair PSU was dead from extensive research because the GPU worked in another PC and my MOBO RGB Was turning on but the power button did nothing and neither did me jumping the power pins together on the MOBO making me think my MOBO or CPU was dead till I found out from the internet that a dead PSU can still send power like this to your components and I still use that newer Asus MOBO which works fine).
I wouldn't consider myself an Asus guy but I only use an Asus MOBO and GPU because I have Corsair products in my PC and those two Asus products are compatible with Corsair iCUE and as for the Monitor I had never had one of theirs fail on me since like 2016/17 plus I liked the UI. I still probably wouldn't get their peripherals though and it's because I like to stick to one ecosystem and currently I only have Corsair stuff (besides those 3 things and my Lian Li o11 Dynamic PCMR edition case)

The promises where made by an individual last year not high up in the company and no longer works for them. This one had the global director of customer service making the promise along with several other high up execs involved in the problem. Read between the lines; Lower AMD 9950x pricing means the benchmarks and performance is slightly higher than 7950X. These "leaks' and reports of 9950X being 46% increase is a myth. Watch and see; it will be one of the biggest lack luster releases from AMD in recent years. They absolutely cherry picked games in testing and when you read the foot notes, you realize "uh oh".

My suggestion would be to take screenshots of your interactions with ASUS with personal information slashed out and send it to Gamer Nexus to let him that know that ASUS isn’t going squat. In addition keep calling and complaining to them about your issue and send them screenshots
In the worse case possible you accept the loss and get a new motherboard. Ideally either an Asrock or MSI motherboard. Also say to ASUS Rep I will tell my friends to never buy your product ever again if you refuse to fix the issue.

Asus should really change their work culture as they only focused on the looks of the products not performance, they were before the brand to go when you want the best of the best but now they're only the best looking (its subjective some people don't like their style) but not the best performing but still the most expensive. if they are going to charge that much they should at least deliver on the performance.
