Fantastic, thanks for the video. By the way, the illustration is gorgeous!
Thanks for the video. I always enjoy
The paper texture has a blending mode "transfer" that I can't find on any other of my projects but it seems to really do the job of adding the texture nicely, can anyone tell me if this is a specific feature of that product or can I use the "transfer" blending mode also with other texture files? Many Thanks!
Hello there! Love the artwork! Is the text custom or are you using a specific font? Than you
I love Affinity!
The best thing about this Macro is how it roughens your edges. In olde academic papers (which are mostly scanned) the mathematics looks grungy and this feels kinda awesome. Too bad modern equation generators do it in crystal crispness. Good for some, but I think grunginess looks really cool! Gonna buy this shit
Great
how do i import the luts in affinity 1 it was no problem in affinity 2 it does not work . kind regards
Hi Vivi, on the Adjustment panel, click the LUT adjustment, click Options, then do one of the following: For a file that contains one LUT, select Import LUTs
or for a file that contains a LUT category, select Import LUT Category.
Thanks
@@Affinitybyserif Thank you so much! 🙏
Will this work on iPad Pro affinity photo?
In my experience it does not work.
True Grit says it’s been tested and works on the iPad
@@madtho Thanks :)
affinity is too good
Hello Affinity Revolution, I wonder if you can make a video how to import and use LUTs that is bought on Affinity’s website without having to upload them every time.
I asked the same question on facebook in Affinty Users group and it seems that many wonder the same. unfortunately no one knew the answer.
Many thanks in advance!!
Unfortunately the “roughing up” template part of this pack does not work on the iPad version of Designer in my experience. The brushes work but it’s all rather disappointing. Something to be aware of if you are considering purchasing this pack. Why Affinity can’t add a simple ripple effect for Designer a la Photoshop is beyond me.
That’s correct. This pack is designed to work only with Affinity Photo although the brushes can be used in pixel persona in designer.
Affinity Photo has a ripple effect. Filter menu: Filter>Distort>Ripple
@@kindred_studio To clarify it doesn’t work in Photo either on the iPad just having tried it. It’s all very disappointing.
@@MiguelCamposUK Although this is true the level of customisation isn’t as good as Photoshop- you cannot do simple “roughing up” of text/vectors in Affinity Photo, it simply is far too crude in it’s current form as a tool.
@@eljmayes Sounds like you might just need some tips. The template and macros have been tested extensively on iPad so please reach out via support.truegrittexturesupply.com and we'll be happy to point you in the right direction :-)
Nice, could be easier on the traditional way.
Is gif a thing? I see a gif option in export but it doesnt actually export a gif... right.. only shows 1 frame.. Or am I being crazy. Did search for ''gif'' on the youtube channel and nothing.. What's happening here Affinity? Is this a 5$ dlc cause I'll freaking pay baby!!!!
In case you haven't searched it on the Internet yet or haven't figured it out, GIF is just a file type. It doesn't contain any animations by itself and none of the Afinity products has the feature to add frames and animations (and I don't think they have the plan to do so).
It is lacking the biggest important tool.... SHAPE BUILDER TOOL. Why you developers do such things.. Why keep it incomplete... you have a competitor out there.
then just pay monthly bro
The best results are achieved by the person trying to achieve something new, however you are asking them to copy what you have done. Where is the originality?
