Well after bitchin about the front cutouts on my Gen 5, 17 & 19, I removed the sharp edges and after doing lots of dry fire and mag changes, I don't notice it. I have more issues with single stack guns like my 1911, Shield and Sig 239. So much easier with a double stack mag gun like Sig 226, M&P or Glocks. The finish looks real nice on the slide as do the WOTG sights.
How does the new stipple job on your 19 or 20 compare to the M&P 2.0 factory finish?
Biggest thing about a botched reload is not hitting the hole. I admit the cutout has caused snags at times during a reload. I think the new Gen 5's do not have the cutout. THE MOS models does NOT have the cutouts

Is that safari land als holster made to be compatible with different kinds of lights? I’m trying to get a good retention holster for a battle belt set up and I want to make sure I purchase a good holster that would fit my g19 with Inforce mounted light.

the gen 5 19 mos doesn't have the notch in the front of the magwell.
Not interested in the MOS either though.

Looked at their pricing.....um
Pricing is on par with other higher-end millers and stipplers. In fact, the frame work/stippling on both my G20 (ATEi) and G19 (TYR) was nearly identical in price. Get what you pay for.
@@Highjak86 I have had some good work done by brazen firearms. And their turnaround is 2 to 3 weeks. Prices are half of the big guys.
@@tk4227 You can save by going with smaller less-known companies and there is nothing wrong with that either.

trust me the gen five trigger is NOT better than the Gen four
I'd heard mixed reports on this. In the end I considered the trigger a wash and it wasn't a "pro" for the Gen5 for me anyway. The "cons" were what had me upgrading my Gen4 instead of going to 5.

Nope. Not even going to attempt it. Too many great examples of f'd up frames out there from do-it-yourself jobs and I would be one to screw that up in an instant. Lol.
It took me 5 hours to do my Glock 19 it sucks doing it but it looks great
