👉🏻 Vintage Selenium Light Meter: selenium metal has a remarkable property- when exposed to light it will generate a small electric current. This General Electric light meter, made in 1930 with classic Bakelite case, still works and needs no battery. The selenium metal cell is directly connected to an ammeter which is calibrated to read out illuminance in units of footcandles (1 lumin per square foot).
👉🏻 Mystery Orbiter UFO
👉🏻 Hoberman Actuator with Sphere
👉🏻 Laser Fog Light Show: making the invisible visible
👉🏻 Chil Balance Sculpture: No magnets!
👉🏻 Mirror Anamorphic Lenticular Cup & Saucer
👉🏻 Mirror Anamorphosis: this famous print by artist István Orosz has a hidden anamorphic image revealed by placing a mirrored cylinder over the depiction of the moon in the image.
👉🏻 Sodium Fluorescein
👉🏻 The Klein Bottle
👉🏻 Tree and Mushroom Top Set
👉🏻 Dual Axes Thaumatrope
👉🏻 3D Print Planetary Gearset: amazingly this gear set is printed assembled, with interlocking herringbone teeth. The gears will not come apart, in fact this design can only be accomplished by 3D printing the gears interlocked with each other. Designed and first printed by Emmett Lalish in 2013, and this version with refined precision and honeycomb by Don Stewart. ➡ Visit physicsfun website to get the .stl files and/or printed versions of this gear set.

They do look like a pure!!!
much impressed, such wow :o
Since the inside and outside of the Klein bottle are the same everything outside it is also inside it and vice versa. A lady undergraduate in Cambridge devised a knitting pattern for a woollen one that she used as a universe cosy. Great video.
Oh my I need that pattern
Why does it says that doesnt have volume??? I dont get it
@@TheCharkan if it has 1 side, then it only has 1 dimension, so no volume or area. The reason why is because everything is inside and outside of it
@@DWal32 ohh i missunderstand the figure vs a 3d object... Its supose that it has 2 dimensions not 3...so it doesnt exist irl. The thickness of the representation doesnt exist on the real klein bottle.
@@TheCharkan yeah except that it's four dimensional.
really it's just a 2d plane wrapped around

Offline I love BEYBLADES! They are so fun!!!
The “infinite bayblade”
wow, I'd never thought that beyblade is known even outside of japan!
@As músicas do mundo, well, there’s the hasbro version of bayblades in America, it’s mostly plastic though and only the weight thing is made of metal
@@DapperSFM That souds nice. Japanese bayblades are mostly made of metal, so they often make scratches on the floor, tables, etc.
What’s up with these types of channels putting “look like a pure” in their titles? Are they trying to make us question the purpose of their videos?
CZcams's algorithm boosts videos if they have more comments, so things like putting typos and engrish in titles makes people comment to point out the bad title and that in turn makes the video show up in more people's recommended

Science is very difficult to learn but it is comparable to what we will get from it
The centrifugal force leads to keep the small rings with the steel ring and you are rolling the steel ring upwards that leads the small rings to move slightly upwards with contact with steel rings due to centrifugal force 👍🏻👍🏻
Science is truly a magnificent, and intriguing matter that's all around us. To whom reading this, may God Bless you and your loved one's, and also wish you positive energy.
Godspeed to you all my Friends.
Namaste and AMEN. 💙
When I read this it put a Giant smile on my face I wish all those things to you.
Wow just awesome.... I particularly liked the vintage light meter.
Mind blowing experiments. I love physics fun.
I think magnets makes the small rings to toll around.
Sound so soothing its making me sleep. Love it. Hate the ads that suddenly pops out. Grr
Two things;
First, the rings roll due to centripetal forces and the fact that the steel ring isn’t rotating perfectly
Second, the Klein bottle could be used to store a liquid (and would work well on a flat surface)
That was so satisfying and relaxing combined with that music! Love your videos!
thanks :) Science is awesome.
@@physicsfun Indeed it is. Just like your videos :)
Chill sculpture was just awesome....🤩
AWESOME stuff. Loved it! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks :) Science is AWESOME.
Gravity pulling small ring towards down side.
Friction of the large ring pulling that small ring upward.
So the small rings are stable at middle point

What
That’s because when they are dealing with friction from spinning and you rotating the wheel they can’t fall with gravity fast enough. That’s 2 forces keeping them up and only one force keeping them down
J'adore ces vidéos
Many of these toys were sold in this kids toy store, the toys weren't like need guns though, Like toys that have scientific physical designs to it, Complex built mechanisms, All at this toy store on Pitt Street In Cornwall, Ontario! People and parents definitely should bring their kids to toy stores where mechanical toys and structures are! Like the kenex ball with the cords that you can pull and make big or push in and make it small and compact!
Two forces on small rings, spin is from the gravity and motion of larger ring moving. Glue to outer larger ring is centrifugal force. The centrifugal force weak so small rings fall back to the bottom.
Like your show, I had an old light photo light meter show camera settings for the ASA number on the film.
サムネのクラインの壺につられてしまったww
Man o man. That was sure pure fun to watch.
Glad to hear that
I love physics, I love physicsfun!!!
I have came to the conclusion that these videos are like the Baby Einstein videos, except for adults.
Its like a holahoop ring which stays up because of the rotation but cant rise because of the gravitation. Also the main ring an the little rings are frictionning so that they dont fall down
Awesome experience while watching your videos...
Enjoyed the Video! Thanks!
I’m seeing this in my recommended a lot and I need to know what’s pure I’m going insane
2:58 I can turn my room into one of these with a bong and a small crack of sunlight shining through a split in the curtains
My answer to the quiz: centrifugal force.
I think it's the centripetal one
i don't really remember the correct name but it's pretty clear that it's a mix of the rotation from the tiny rings + the area of contact caused by the continuous movement of the iron ring + the gravity itself that keep the tiny rings descending.
im bad at english.
@@zusdokatotengimure3180 the rotation of the big ring keeps the rings from falling while the gravity keeps them from rising.
When you spin the rings and start rotating the big one the internal surface of the rings that makes contact with the big one is so longer at the same "point" : this makes the rings staying in the same position and spinning.
I can't explain it better with words.
So: there are gravitational force, your force (on the big ring), and the spinning one (centrifugal and centripetal) that makes the rings change point of contact with the big ring.
big brain answer
perhaps it's the coriolis effect instead of one of his force ^^'
I had one Mystery orbiter UFO in my childhood. My brother brought that for me. Nostalgic toy.
I love that UFO ship.awesome 😍🤩
How to be amazed and satisfied at the same time? Well, watch this video. I really love the music. It's very relaxing.
The way you spun the small wheels before you turn the big ring it's called centripetal Force it's the same thing that helps motorcycles keep balanced
MAN THAT DOES SURE LOOK LIKE A PURE
used to have a nice UFO similar to that, but I think it was a kid's-meal toy
Very interested to know how is the little spinning UFO made inside.... can you share the details please?
Please read video description for details
Ah yes, I sure love pures, so why not look at some science toys that look like a pure?
Answer is gyroscoping and balancing of positions while rotating in its own axis
If the speed increases while rotating on its own axis or mass decreased it will move up
I have that hoverman actuator when i was a kid
hi, yes, i'd like to preorder all of these for a possible future classroom i may be working in
challenge:friction made by shaking the ring made the small things go up while the ring is rotating at a certain speed
Pure video my favorite was the vintage selenium light meter
Used to be a toy of a bird on the side of a vertical stick that when tapped with the hand would slide down the pole in the same manner and circle around the pole as it vibrated down to the bottom.
Their upper spin keeps them up equal to their weight
And their motion (rotation) aloow them to be in touch with bigger circle
Such interesting videos
Within 5 minutes new personal record
Inertia and angular momentum.
The quiz answers myself " the effect of mass of mass rings, centrifuge force and and it's acceleration"
CENTRIFUGAL FORCE WHICH ACT RADIALLY OUTWARD FROM THE CENTER OF RING
My answer : They hitting on the sides if ring on a angle and result to it a normal force is acting upward keeping to go up but out motion make them stay on the nearly same position
i.e you can do the same
Hooling loop (i guess it is said that)
Or
put a ring on finger and try the ring to rotate or move round
It will go up.
The sphere is beautiful
I'd trade all this junk for a Crookes radiometer. That's a REAL science toy!
Wow very amazing
I always feel kinda melancholy when a spinning top topples.
Used to get maze-panic as a kid, even before ever seeing 'The Shining'.
So there you go 😊
Gears of evolution! Anyone else have come to a place or time in life where the process is simple, Although it takes a lot of strength! Have to accept that theirs no need to over complicate things!
Answer: Rotational torque.

We used to duplicate the principle shown with the wood cylinder. We would make bets that we could make a screwdriver float in mid air. Just blowing an air hose over the end of the handle would make it suspend in the air. Similar to the effect of air over an airplane wing I believe. Craftsman screwdrivers with the round end seemed to be the easiest,
Moving the cone possibly the coanda affect?
they really do be looking like a pure!
Always wanted Klein bottle even though I can't understand it from words, only by looking at [a picture of] it. Geometry was the only thing I was ever any good at in school; I loved it and played with it; in fact I used to try to construct proofs I couldn't prove and I got 100 on the final without studying. I always have a Mobius strip hanging in the bathroom. My father taught me that one. At age 63 I still get out my compass and fool around with it. And angles changed my way of seeing the physical world. I still have to look at buildings over and over. Once I even rented an apartment bc there was a very good factory across the street. I'll shut up now, and I thank anyone who read this.
Thanks for sharing !
The curvature of the steel ring creates continues centrepetal force with the small ring, continuesly rotating the steel ring provides the small ring a continuous tendency. That's what I think. Correct me if I'm wrong 😉✌️

me:it’s a weird and cool bottle...?
My brain: ITS A ENPTY SPLASH POTION BOTTLE...
So many pures
whoa to cool
love the music thank you I needed this thank you
Glad you enjoyed
Easy
small rings keep slipping while you are rotating the metal ring
Why do I need a light meter? My eyes can tell how much light there is just fine
Cool very nice
Answer: Centrifufal force induced by wobily orbital movement around a moving core circle.
These "toys" were mostly interesting though some were not. The Anamorphic mirrow was the best for me. The planetary gear was totally uninspiring as was the bonus at the end.
