Music Mike love all this great music you play keep on rocking
Thanks for listening
Rock's 1st Super Group.Fuzz Distortion with a Pentatonic Scale Song.Way ahead of its time.A Masterpiece.!
Cant imagine a better "3some" of guitars for its time! Beck, Page, Clapton.. Idk if you can beat that
A massive influence on the US Garage Punk scene of 65-67.
I love Beck's guitar sound.
Music Mike!
Please keep doing what you do!
Thanks for the tunes and their history.👍👍👍👍😎
Thank you
Music Mike love it's nice radio voice 😂😆
This is with Jeff Beck on guitar. Fantastic musician.
Hi fans, we are the timely born generation and have been able to witness the beat music of the golden sixties and seventies.
That was the biggest thing in life for us! :-)
I love the way they drag out the word heart in the lyrics. These guys were exceptional artists.
Thanks Mike for your eloquent presentation. I just love everything you do. Stay safe and may God bless America against the COVID -19. Johnny from Montreal, Canada 🙏🏼👍💖😉🌈🌺
Thank you. Stay safe in Canada!
They sure did have soul in their heart and music as well, haven't heard this since my am radio years! It still sounds great and listening to it now is like running into an old friend. 🎼🎸🎙📻🎵
I agree with you!, this is an Old Friend
My favourite track of all time! Thanks love. Xxxx
Keep these classic sounds coming. Many thanks.
Awesome sound!
The intro to these classics is great, CKLW, plus your comments about the record is awesome .. Keep them coming
Many thanks. Glad to have you tuned in.....
Love your intros!! Your voice was definitely made for radio & television! Crisp, clear, precise & it has a personality that grabs your attention & makes you want to listen! Thanks for the inside info, the throwback tunes & "my "melodious" medicine". 🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶
CKLW and XERB are the Best
@@MusicMikeFlashbackFavorites wish you well and hope you share more greatness 🎶🎶
love the blinking light with all the colors just like the 60s.
A present from my ex mother in law. LOL
Great song, and many thanks for putting these songs on Music Mike please keep them them coming
A great classic from a cutting edge band of the 60s. Always a great presentation and I really enjoy the intros with the info on what we are about to hear.
Awesome classic!! Great video thanks for sharing!!
We would travel back to the year 1965 the British Invasion era
Great work on producing the stereo simulation
Glad you like it!
Sounds fantastic what a great song from a fabulous group, great effort.
Music Mike always
sounds like he is
introducing these
songs from atop
MOUNT SINAI, and
that's fine by me,
as my favorite film
is Cecile B. DeMille's
1956 version of THE
TEN COMMANDMENTS,
with Charlton Heston
and the "burning bush"
and all! This is yet
another song that I
went "ape over" in
the era when the
BEATLES were leaving me cold.
LONG LIVE MUSIC
MIKE!!!
Lol. Thank you.
Hello, Music Mike Thanks for sharing your video's and the history behind the wonderful music you play.
Working to get the radio library out here in TX...Waaaaay past the chosen 1200, 1000. ugh, 200 that some stations keep burning out. Best of the Yardbirds!! If we could just get stations dedicated to playing all the top 100 from '55 to '79 like Sag Harbor NY's WLNG...America would be musically (and mentally) together in the head in days!
I usually will not condone simulated stereo versions of any song - but I will make a hearty exception here for the Yardbirds. The recording history of this group is so convoluted that a new recording such as this will not muddy the waters any more than they already are. Good work to whomever worked on these tracks!
Edmund Vitale - worked by MusicMike......
I play your station when I work here at my home office. Thank you :)
Fabulous! Thanks very much.
Still loved the Rave up on this.Had this go from Boss Hitbound to top 10 in two weeks in 1965!
Another great song from your stax o' wax! Keep 'em coming.
You Da Man Mike, great classics.
just like I remember it thanks
once again another great termite tune
sold me , LOve It cheers to you ,
Junior high!!.👍❤
cool song!
enjoyed!
Not sure how you pull it off...generally I don't care for essentially double-tracked mono "stereo" mixes...but all the great stuff has just that little bit extra...this one is certainly proof...thanks as always for the ubercool posts and great work
UNA DE MIS CANCIONES FAVORITAS DE TODOS LOS TIEMPOS, DE LA DÉCADA DE LOS 60s
Здравствуй уважаемый товарищ.
Мне нравятся видео, которые ты выкладываешь. У меня тоже проигрыватель виниловых пластинок. Музыка американская и английская 60-х годов мне очень нравится. Хотя я молод для неё
Que gran canción!
Keep those Fantastic Plastics spinnin', Mike!
Well yeah you did it again! Mike you get the radio show a running and you'll be surprised how many of my friends will want to be with you many thanks and always! You better watch out I'm going to be coming to Columbus anyway for the who I'm going to try to look you up somehow maybe we should share some information about rock. It takes one to know one
Wow, even MusicMike uses a Pioneer PL-516, same turntable as me
Good!
CKLW the big 8 2020 news thank you Robin trombley
wow...
Clapton and Beck did not play bass, they were lead guitarists. Page may have played bass initially but moved to Lead guitar when the Yardbirds fired Beck. This hit features Jeff Beck on lead guitar, which he played on all of the American hits except "For Your Love", which was Eric Clapton playing on the bridge.
“Boss” song
CKLW Motorcity Music.... im a kid again 1970
I grew up listening to CKLW so love hearing the start-up music on your videos. I'm impressed with how much you know about music's oldies. Question: How do you do "simulated stereo?"
layering the mono-versions, apply EQ and then pan them in the stereo field.
Who is Singing Lead....I know Clapton...Beck and Page....is that John Bonham.on Drums?
MusicMike, I want XM radio to hire you!
In my opinion, a very underrated band. Loved this song when I heard it while stationed in Bremerhaven, West Germany in 1965 and still love it. Unfortunately lead singer Keith Relf accidently electrocuted himself a decade or so ago. As for the three premier guitarists, makes no difference to me. The Yardbirds as a group was the draw for me.
Relf died in May 1976
PLEASE "WE ARE THE GOOD RATS" OF THE GOODRATS, 1969.
music mike
out standing yard birds
Wish I could find the PERFECT stereo recording of The Stone's "last Time". Any ideas?
Love that song
Mike where can I find your station?
You can go to our web site kvkvi.com and play the station directly from there. If you'd like to listen on your phone or tablet, download the tunein app...search for kvkvi...click play...and enjoy!
The top '3' were "lead guitar", not bass guitar...
What's Mono................?? lol
Why simulated stereo?? The original mono recording is vastly better 😞
