When are we going to get the ability to change the default header styles in OneNote?
I wish the table formatting functionality was better in OneNote, there is no option to merge cells
Yes, this would be a game changer. To have the same functions available in Word would be amazing. And to be able to copy from Word/Excel and formatting is kept.
Gosh, been using Onenote for my entire life including almost 10 years of medical education and nothing I want more than being able to merge table cells 😭
Ink stays with picture/pdf is a huge upgrade. Love it.

Simultaneous collaboration in one note was possible even without Loop
Another cool thing to mention about task list is that you get notifications when your tasks are due. :)

Now, when are we going to be able to set up custom tags on the iPad - tags, other than the useless example ones set up as default (“Project A” and “Project B”?) are fundamental to good use of the notebook and are still only half-implemented.

I would use the desktop app to online teaching if there was animations for contents enabled just like in powerpoint

Hey Mike. Thanks for sharing so much. Let me ask you a question. Have you created courses online? If you have, do you use any of the resources available from Microsoft? Which ones? (I mean courses business as usual, with a curriculum page and several pages, each containing texts, videos, images, etc.)
How do you adjust the image containers size without messing with the image. The containers always come in to big around images and when I try to move the extra space out, it shinks the image?
They should make a Sticky Notes Windows Widget
All good, but how do ou move the start bar out of the way on windows 11 so that your hand doesn't activate icons along g the start bar while writing with the stylus? Why oh why is the start bar locked to the bottom?

is the Sticky notes coming to Mac OneNote?
I wish you put this much effort into Find/Search so that it returns matches in context *as you type* (rather than just showing the page containing the match), the way Margin Note does. I can do this in Excel, why not across all my OneNote pages? Sobs inconsolably.
The Find/Search tool is unusable, most of the time it returns unrelated results, if the string is unmatched. It's so annoying.
You guys should implement code Block in onenote and an option to embbed CZcams videos on Android. By the way onenote for Android deserve more functionalities like group sections and tags

Seriously i would have murdered for that feature in college when drawing graphs in econ.
Thx again for the news - one thing i want to mention: the last news that it will automaticly add a new Tab in a new channel for OneNote is not new, this feature is around half a year i think...
My OneNote looks very different and has way fewer options. (even with my Microsoft 365 subscription)

As much as they tell me it is because they want all the glitches to be fixed by the time we use it. A district full of students with no access is not good
is this on windows 11 only? We wont upgrade to 11 until we absolutely have to.

I would be so happy if MS just made a OneNote that didn’t crash every 20 minutes. New features are useless if your app can’t even run stable. Wish congress would break up the horribly MS monopoly. Imagine a world where file names can be changed without problems. MS is so pathetic.
