Alaska was among the very first legendary tier ships to make it into the game and the first cruiser type ship and has always been good...but now shes been BUFFED. She sports 9 x 305mm guns, great armor, good heals, sonar, and radar. She is very well rounded with good DPM, maneuverability, AA and great concealment. Running the same build as you with the same commanders at 16/3 but my reload is over 17 seconds. Did they nerf it?
Yes Alaska was nerfed in the most recent update
Alaska was the only Legendary ship that I truly wanted. After I got her I used a meme build that used AL New Jersey as commander for meme-levels of cit damage

I've always loved the Alaska, I never had a problem with her either while playing, always feeling on Par with all the Cruisers in her tiers and even some Battleships. But I'm glad she got the buff regardless

Alaska was my first legendary back in 2020 and I instantly fell in love with it the first time I played it. Now its been buffed its even better doing the funny to unsuspecting broadside BBs with AP 🙃

My build is still 20 seconds for the reload and when you have Des Moines and Minos in every game, it’s trickier to carry the team. Might have to revisit my build.
Stock should be 18 seconds now. Yeah you have to be careful against those high DPM ships for sure
@@DerkaGames It used to be my favorite ship and was pretty solid, they they buffed it couple years ago and it was “too good” so they nerfed it into oblivion lol. Gonna check her out tonight and stretch her legs again

I current have the WR on xp on Alaska and man, i love that ship and i agree 100% with you, alaska is better than stalingrad, alaska allow you to put yourself in multiple different positions and stalin you basically are a sniper

Alaska was my 1st bureau ship. Not used her lots, for no reason other then lots of boats and little time lol. But when i have taken her out, she has been very fun to play. 🍻

I am the only crazy person who specs into rudder and speed (38 knots, 4 second rudder) in Alaska because personally i find that contesting caps and getting rid of destroyers is preferable in a ship that can already take on battleships in 1v1s

Don't think we're quite at the level of pre nerf Alaska, the guns then were absolutly broken and ridiculously OP, but its still a really good ship nonetheless

Haha I don't have Stalingrad but have had it on loan from WG twice and had a rental version so I've played her quite a bit. So don't have one to sell to ya!

I can’t be bothered playing Alaska while grinding for the Duncan, I’m enjoying the battle cruisers (for now), but Rooke is really doing my head in 😒
Alaska is a battecruiser....haha. yeah I need to grind Hawke more as well
OK, Derka…don’t get me started…but, in brief, Alaska shares pretty much all design characteristics with US cruisers, and not with the battleships. Plus, her guns are smaller than contemporary battleships…. Both of those factors run directly contrary to the original theory of the battlecruiser…😎

I love the legendary tier ships, but the people who plays them are way too sweaty, not much of a problem but the high service cost means that u could go bankrupt from just playing the game is a BIG PROBLEM

If ur not good stick to the low tiers its the highest tier for a reason
