The so-called 'Tillmann Battleships are a quite (in)famous set of hypothetical designs, so it was probably inevitable that WG would make some kind of move at them. .Compared with some other Tillmann designs, Vermont is extremely mild. I am not kidding.

@@DerkaGames You're not kidding. They sort of start at semi-Yamato and take off from there. The Tillmann monster with TWENTY-FOUR sixteen inch guns, in sextuple turrets, just boggles the mind. So happy WG didn't drop THAT on us (yet).
They need to fix the HP on all the ships they have nerfed whether legendary or not.Or they need to nerf Vermont and Ohio.

Ship comes out for sale next week for 30 million silver. And probably have the option for 5k doubloons. Community contributors get the ships for 2 weeks at the start of an update to show off the new shiny thing.

This video is bona fide proof that GK can't brawl or do anything else better than other BBs of the class. It's been power crept the most imo.

At this point just change it to preussen like on pc, 457 overmatch, better reload, more consistent guns, better firing angles.

Hey There Derka,
For me, Vermont is kinda a bittersweet reality because the Americans are officially maxxed out on capital ships that have a new level of upgraded firepower....Vermont is the pinnacle.
All that is left if one peruses the WoW Wiki pages is the Kearsarge, which is basically the Georgia, and the Rhode Island, which is a larger Florida...hull-wise, and the very uniquely odd USS Illinois (which I'm hoping will be the American Petropavlovsk...and a future campaign reward ship)
Other than the BB/CV hybrid Delaware and Louisiana which will require enthusiasm for CV's...Vermont is literally the final American juggernaut, at least for now.
But it's also the ship that will let in the following monsters that will be coming to a theatre near you...
Thunderer, Incomparable, St. Vincent, Devastation, Shikishima, Bungo, Satsuma, Patrie, Kremlin, Admiral Ushakov, Hannover, Preussen, and the Ruggiero di Lauria.
Several of these ships have main guns ranging from 483mm to 510mm's. This reads like a Godzilla movie...and I do enjoy a good Godzilla movie.
Of course I say all of this without mentioning THE Maine of PC which is not the Maine of console by any stretch of one's imagination, but that's a discussion for a different day.
For those reading this that are unaware, but curious to know, THE USS Maine of WoW PC is a 115,000 hit point behemoth, with 16 406mm main guns in four quad turrets.
Ya know that is sad when you think about it, but...we have more American ships than any other nation so I won't complain to see some of those other nations' "monsters" come to the game! Variety is the spice of life
Only good thing I can say about this is they've said Thunderer isn't coming to Legends. (Along with Harogumo for some reason.)

I've heard that about Thunderer but what Wargaming says and really does is often subject to change.

Shikishima is a yamato with less guns (wows pc). It's when you play with Satsuma when it feels different with its special accuracy skill. I want my long-range sniper *^*)9

Regarding the “power creep” issue.
IMO, these new high-HP battleships are a step in the right direction for LT.
Everyone loves to complain about BBs sitting at the edge of the map and refusing to move. Well, if we want that to change, then BBs need enough health to deal with the absolute hellfire of torpedoes and HE spammers at LT.
Ohio is also a step in the right direction in that it is more than just a 1-trick pony. Most LT BBs are quite 1 dimensional in their build potential. But Ohio can be spec’d to work well with many different playstyles.
I think the existing LT BBs need to have their HP pools buffed across the board. I also think the game would benefit if high tier BBs got a very slight buff to their base secondary range. Not enough to turn them all into brawlers… but there’s no reason for these massive gun platforms to be as utterly impotent at close range against destroyers as most of them currently are.
All that said, I do disagree with you about Montana. She’s still a fantastic ship, and very competitive at LT. She’s not as flashy as Ohio, but she’s still the best sniper BB at the tier :)
That's a valid point, I just want GK to get the HP she deserves... these new American BBs shouldn't be more tanky imo
@@DerkaGames Yeah, completely agree with you there. Playing Ohio right now is what playing GK should always have felt like. She deserves to be a proper damage tank :)
The issue is not HP, fire is percentage based damage if u wanna buff something than its the heals, ohio is so diverse because it has improved heals (thats her gimmick) and besides no other weaknesses so u can build it however u want to build it, gk should be replaced by preussen and given the 3 heals (3 heals also for russian ships pls, except lenin) they should have given vermont better camo instead of that much hp.

I pissed I wasted $on the Sov Rossiya im always stuck with legendary tier out of 53 games 41 have been stuck with legendary and this is BS this thing will erase my ship no matter the angle and I'll never stand a chance tir 8's should be with tier 8's 75% of the time but its reversed instead I'm stuck in legendary tier 75% of the time total BS 😮💨

In pc games I think it's a big slow farm me pos torp magnet fire magnet that shoots the moon first while ships at anything past 15 km just move a bit and you get nothing .and that's my opinion. and I do have it. Nice playing though.

Really tired of the American BBs at legendary tier. We have what now, 3? 4 if you count Battle cruiser Alaska. Meanwhile no Hindenburg, Venezia, Goliath, no Alexander Nevsky, Moskva. And no even mentioning the obvious power creep on old LT BBs, or the back to back 457mm guns that'll conveniently overmatch LT CAs despite angling (yay). Hopefully they'll buff Montana and all the older nerfed BBs, Großer Kurfürst only having 2 base heals and a 60 second sonar is a joke nowadays.
