Edit: A lot of people have already mentioned the subs thing & I'm sorry that it seems to have ruined the video for so many, but it's a reaction so I can't go back & "do it over" & again I only had them on because ARMY have told me repeatedly to have them on so that's why they were on in the first place. EsaveoTheArtist Ugh! I need to see you react to to their live performances. Like the MAMA 2016 performance and 2019 but I suggest sticking to their songs for now because you’ll appreciate the performances better once you have heard a good range of songs especially their hits.

Definitely react to several more of their group hits (I suggest start from the beginning with No More Dream and move from their) then go into their individual performances (though I know you already did V Singularity but his song Inner Child from the newest album is also very good.) only my suggestion but feel free to do as you like lol 😂 though I’m dead serious about this >>> wait for a bit before going into Jungkooks solos like Begin, Euphoria and My Time. I know he is your bias but trust me, go through all the other group members first then your bias last. I did the same with Suga (my bias 💜💜) and it was an amazing feeling to know that while I love and cherish all the members, there is something special to me about Suga.

FUN FACT: Possibly the reason you thought of Chris Brown "Take Me Down" (which Jimin actually danced to during "3J's"), the choreography are both by Brian Puspos, as well as Drakes's "Own It", which Jimin danced a solo too at BTS's Begin Concert! Brian Puspos is quite close friends with Jimin, and they've worked together several times before!! Also Chris Brown is one of Jimin's fav artists!

To be honest, so many idols and trainees have tried to cover his songs and dance but no one has ever areached even close. That's how unique his voice and dancing is. Jimin had to tone down his speed so that some of the backup dancers could keep up with him because he was advised to do so💜💖

You have to understand - we lose it when their hair is styled with their foreheads showing so abs are amazing to us. We truly become Victorian since we also talk about collarbones, ankles, hands, etc. Welcome to the chaos.
Also yes, I love Jimin's blend of movement as a dancer and my eyes are naturally drawn to him during performances as I enjoy how he makes the group dances his own. That being said, I love how BTS performs as a unit and as individual members as they all bring a little something different to their moves.
I like how you described it, because yes, Jimin dances with the perfect combo of smoothness and fluidity with sharpness and precision. 👍🏼 I’m sure some people can do the exact routine, but never the way Jimin does it, which is with elegance, artistry and effortlessness. His facial expressions are on point, not overly done nor restrained. And his movements are never awkward nor forced. He is indeed known as a stage commander. He is very captivating on stage, even in a crowd/group, Jimin won’t fail to catch your eye. 😌💕 ... altho, I could feel you weren’t so into his style, nor the song’s (jmo), I appreciate your time to check lyrics/mv/live perf. 🙏🏼
Jimin sounded like he is lipsynching here because his dancing and singing are perfect and effortless. Jimin wasn't lipsynching. I have seen him sing this song during practice with no background music, just him and the mic as he move around casually familiarizing himself with the stage. Sometimes he stopped singing, then he will continue. The thing is, he was pitch perfect. It is totally mind blowing.
Sariel also the maker if this video has to use one audio track for all those differ t performances so it looks weird sometimes.
JIMIN CAPTIVATES!!!!!You get lost in the moment, he is strong, fierce, athletic, smooth, liquid, sensual, charming, you name it and he can do any type of dancing, when you put him on stage, he delivers💜
As for the back up dancers, I always notice and appreciate them in all the BTS performances and I have seen many reactors giving them the thumbs up.

Jimin = fluid. Perfect description.
The mv does actually has a lot of refrences to a famous french book called le petit prince. Its a really good read and bascially tells the story of a boy who lives on a astroid and takes care of a rose. He eventually falls in love with the rose but wants to leave and explore the universe. Basically he travels around and learns how special his astroid and rose is to him, and how painfully love can be when we must part. Hoped that cleared things up a bit.
Omg I am french and I didn't know that it was a reference to it, I thought I was crazy when almost everything in this video reminded me of this. Jimin even looks EXACTLY like what le petit prince would look like in this video, and how I would imagine him everytime I read this book.

Jimin maintain a very close relationship with his team of dancers. They are also friends, not just backups. Jimin and his dancers are symbiotic & he trusts them. Having said this, Jimin is a very skillful dancer & when in his element, nobody can match him, so there isn't any worry about being overshadowed by a backup dancer.
Brian Puspos choreographed this for Jimin. Their back ground dancers are excellent dancers too. But at the end of the concert they all come out to bow while we cheer for them too. They are all appreciated besides BTS.

@@AmariLeone i think that there are way more people who DIDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEM with the subs and simply they didn't feel the need to say something (me included, not even noticed till i saw your pinned comment). so i wouldn't worry so much. personally i only put the subs on with the MVs. Maybe when people informed you to do it, its because most of the reactor dont do it and then they complain they don't understand the song they're singing. that's why some people are very insistent about the subs. but there is not really need for anything except the MVs.

You should react to Tony Montana by Suga/Agust D. I suggest watching the live performance where Jimin performs with him, it really shows the “other side” of Jimin in contrast of the light, airy voiced, feminine like Jimin that were used to 😂. It hard to explain but it took everybody by surprise lol

@EsaveoTheArtist Yes, Jimin's "Lie" is a music major's trippy dream. LOL. It starts out in a minor key and then suddenly changes to major at the chorus. It's wild, but somehow he makes it work. Do the MV for sure but never neglect Jimin's live performances....they are always delicious!
@Amanda Michelle - I don't know if you're aware, but there is no official MV for "Lie" or any other solo song from the BTS Wings album!! If there is one posted, it's just a fan made vid that wrongfully says 'official'! There is the lyric vids of Jimin's "Lie" though that I totally recommend seeing first and then, of course the absolutely must see spectacularly mesmerizing live performance!! Hopefully it will be the JIMIN'S "LIE" Wings Tour Seoul Fancam by midnight_show jm one, because the other ones that are posted are taken from the dvd and BigHit always takes them down saying dude to copyright infringement!!! In general Fancams are always safest to see!!
Seeing this MV brings back so many memories! I became an ARMY in March 2017 so LY: Her was my first comeback. I remember after making dinner one day I saw the MV had just dropped. When I watched it, I was so shook I was sitting on the kitchen floor like..."holy shit I think I just found my bias". From then I got thrown into "comeback season" and the paranoia ARMYs get around this time because we don't know what Big Hit is gonna drop between BTS' scheduled events lol

I used to be a dancer and I always describe jimins dancing as a mixing pop of contemporary lyrical with popping sprinkled on top. It's majestic and captivating.

Ur natural, honest and the way you explain music and instruments is very interesting and fun you have a great personality and I find myself laughing alot at ur humor cuz ur way of speaking reminds me of myself sometimes . I feel like I've learned something after them haha. I don't watch anime ( closest thing I think is spirited away.... But not sure if that's anime exactly lol) I do watch alot ... Jimin actually excels at contemporary and popping & locking, the latter is actually the one he's done for the longest time, but contemporary influences his style very heavily now. His style is a mix of both. He also did Korean traditional dance and several martial arts, which also influence the way he dances.
You should definitely react to Lie Lyric Video and Live performance.
Also in most of the American and European performances of Serendipity, Jimin raised his shirt way more than 3 inches SJSJJS, that's how we noticed his NEVERMIND tattoo.
As I've commented on other reactors' videos, I never feel Jimin's dancing as sexual, I find it sensual which are two different things. Sensuality comes from an emotional, physical, and spiritual desire for pleasure in everything, and that's what Jimin exudes when he's in performance mode. It's his particular brand of charisma and his insane passion for what he does which transforms everything he does into something extremely sensual.
This reply is a long time after the reaction, but I'm a baby Army, and in my exploratory phase - this troubled me about this comment. His background, and what he excels at and was known for when Big Hit recruited him is contemporary dance. He learned hip hop post recruitment only. I know he has a black belt in Taekwondo, and is proficient in other martial arts, it is unclear to what level he has trained in those.
@@charnight181 Bruh no. Lmao. I've been an army since 2017, but I've listened to BTS since 2015, and Jimin is my bias.
Jimin did pop & lock before he did contemporary, he started with Korean traditional dance in elementary, started pop & lock right around 7th-8th grade, and did contemporary in High School. Contemporary was actually the style of dance he trained the least time in, which says a lot about his hard work and natural talent as he is fantastic at it. He has trained the longest in Taekwondo and Kendo, he did the latter for 8 years. He was also class president for 8 years, he was part of the football soccer club, and he had the top marks in math.
About your comment of "he learned hip hop post recruitment only" I know where you got the info from, can't remember the exact video but I can remember the whole quote was "Jimin had to RELEARN pop&lock when he joined BTS".

Some info about the production of this song: RM wrote the lyrics and sang the vocal guide/demo for Jimin. RM shared some of his version which you can watch: it's the video called "BTS RM Vocal Demo for Serendipity". Really cool to hear RM sing it as it's very different to what you normally hear from him. He sometimes acts like he can't sing, but he can!
Yess I heard one guide vocal RM did for Jin I think and I was shook. He can't hit high notes but if he keeps it softer it's amazing. I love when all of rapline sings tbh.
For the bubbles, I think that they add to the "innocent, cutesy" vibe of the song, but to also show that Jimin (in the song) is living in a bubble of his own world. He's blissfully ignorant of the way his co-dependency can affect his self-perception, as explored later on in Love Yourself: Tear.

I found it funny that you brought up Chris Brown's, "Take you down". Because Jimin did a show like 2 years ago with Hobi and JK were they each danced to a song and that was the song Jimin danced to. I deadass cried when I first watched the MV. I was young and stupid then, and for some reason didn't notice that BTS was responsible for half of my playlist. When I decided to do some research on them and stumbled upon this MV, I couldn't help but be in awed and be a little resentful for not liking them sooner. The emotions I got when I watched was close to ethereal, and Jimin's voice and beauty honest to god put tears in my eyes. That's when I realized that no other artist have given me this experience before, and it kickstarted my descent into the BTS fandom.

@Anna-Sophia - The references to "The a Little Prince" are so much so in so many ways, including some scenes in the MV are direct references to the novel & even the covers illustration of the book!! After Serendipity MV came out, everyone in Korea started referring to Jimin as "the little prince". Even some international Army, still to this day, refer to Jimin as the little prince!!

the reason it looked like he was in a globe at the beginning of the performance was a representation of the type of photo card/ pictures during this time of their tour. During the photo shoot all the members were in different style like "snow globes". Also he was the only one who performed his solo song like this during the concerts.

the yellow color relate to the dna mv, following the same intake about love. the change in color changed(blue purple)in the stage performance is because it was performed in the speak yourself tour, which had purple as main theme ( color of love and appreciation for ARMY)

Ahhhhhh, our Little Prince. Jiminie is such a beautiful and powerful performer. The thing that's so special about BTS is that all seven members are mesmerizing in their own special way. Seeing all seven on stage both in group and solo stages... mind-blowing. Every single time I see them I'm amazed all over again at just how good they are.

anywho, you can really tell rm wrote this one because of little things like the mention of penicillin (a "serendipitous" discovery) and references to the little prince. he can't resist putting clever little things like that in his lyrics.

In yesterday’s video you asked who produced “Serendipity” but I wasn’t really able to express my thoughts properly so here is my answer now
The people officially credited with producing the song are: Slow Rabbit, Ray Michael Djan Jr, Ashton Foster, RM and “hitman” bang
However, ARMY usually shorten that answer to “RM” simply because that is the only recognisable name for people that are just beginning to get into BTS

BTS has a crew of background dancers that they regularly work with. ARMY really appreciates them and all the hard work that they do to make performances great. Jimin also has a friend in the group who he can often be seen hugging after a performance.
My late ass doesn’t have any life changing bts knowledge to add, I’m sure everyone else has told u what u need to know. I just wanted to say JIMIN IS KING!! This is one of my most favorite bts song. Also the fact that he wore a diamond(not sure if it really is diamond) chain vest instead of a regular vest... best dressed king! Okay I’m done fawning over jimin thank u for coming to my red talk.
Before I continue on this journey watching your reactions and insightful comments learning & seeing more & more of BTS, I just wanted to thank you so much for taking the time to see lyric vid, MV & live!! I'm hoping you get a chance to do it for each song especially from BTS , since there are just so many complex, mmeaningful & inspirational layers, symbolisms visually & lyrically, for their songs & concepts. I am a new sub and am looking forward to watching more of your content!! BTS takes their inspiration from so many things, and their lyrics at times have many meanings (lots of word play) also much is connected as you mentioned by Korean tradition, symbolism, & meanings that are difficult to translate at times! That's why there are exceptional explanation vids by awesome channels like DKDKTV (explained by Korean), or XCeleste, Bookish Theories, & more that I so recommend you see or refer to at times!! When Jimin touches the cactus and pricks his finger the transition scene full of colors that pans out to the universe is similar to what they do in the DNA music video which is also about the first stages of falling in love & feeling like you’ve found the love of your life. Like this serendipitous coming together was coded into their DNA from the beginning.
One of the most interesting videos I've seen of Jimin dancing was a "dance off" where it was just Jimin and some of his backup dancers and another K-pop idol. The "dance off" is really just a showcase of the two K-pop idols but the interesting thing was the version where members of BTS were watching it. J-Hope and RM were commenting on Jimin's performance and J-Hope was talking to Jimin on the monitor, like he could hear him. Watching BTS react to themselves is always interesting, because they'll comment on some of the same things that you do.

I seen both these videos many times and the subtle orgasmic imagery is just now hitting me. Both towards the end of the video and towards the end of the performance. It's innocent until it isn't. The world is literally shaking in the vid.

Speaking of the Chris Brown Take You Down, Jimin actually danced to that on stage and it was AWESOME. I believe it’s called the 3J Dance Party? I’ll find a link and put it down below in a sec if you ever wanna check it out. It’s so so so good and it’s also got JK and J-Hope as the other two J’s. It’s a lot of behind the scenes for a performance they did too, which is super cool.

Touching the cactus is a direct reference to The Little Prince. In the book, yellow and blue are colors that are emphasized throughout. Also, the actual Korean word for penicillin is 'blue mold' and the word for calico cat is 'three colored cat.' And the little prince touches a rose and pricks his finger...
btw... The Little Prince is a children's book.. so you should check it out.

@@AmariLeone Yes, of course! I just think that him having that kind of mindset makes his style (both casual and stage outfits) more unique. He likes to incorporate a lot of unique pieces in his outfits and he often utilizes pieces that are considered ''feminine'', so I think that makes his outfits more special looking. Might be just me thinking that though😅
One of the things that sets BTS apart can be seen through out this video, every time you see Jimin in a different outfit is a different performance, but the editor was able to seamlessly put together each performance to seam.like one, does that make sence? #BTS works so hard and are perfected through their perfances .

Im not so sure but about this yellow theme, there was a campaign called “yellow September” that tries to avoid suicide and depression and this mv released in September as you see... idk tho
The funny thing about Jimin if you watch him with other dancers he seems offbeat but if you take the same clip and crop it to just him you can see he's perfectly on beat...He interprets music differently to everyone else but it's still perfect every time.
I think the snow globe might have related to a photos hoot they did inside snow globes for this album. Plus one stage each member upped the production so this was his...
And yes, his dancing is exactly how you describe it...smooth/popping. And believe me when you watch the behind the scenes stuff you can see what years of dancing has done to his body but he doesn't show it on stage. He's pretty beat up which honestly is to be expected because of the level of skill and how hard he throws himself into his dance. He has chronic neck, back and knee issues but we only see it when we see behind the scene stuff of him mention it or we see him taped up.
And I think BH has the best background dancers. They are skilled, fill the space but never draw attention to themsleves.themselves.
Your getting bits of concert performances and I can promise you they are all so great live! And the running joke is Jimin wears little black boots...like always. He's always in boots or Channel slides.

BTS never disappoints with their live performances, and the solo performances especially give each member time to show what they bring to the table, and also shows just how talented every single one of them are.
I think my favorite live solo performance would have to be Hobi’s Just Dance, but Jimin’s Lie and Jin’s Epiphany are pretty close behind.
