I'd almost forgotten about how much I loved your analytical rants, I've seen a lot of people react to this video and at this point I've decided that my respect for them depends on whether they say his singing on the first clip is perfect or specifically not perfect so I was relieved when you started your rant about singers being better when they can hear themselves, this should really not be such a hard concept for people.
Alsoooo, I have a special bone to pick with the way people see someone being good at something and call them talented like they didn't work hard for it for some reason so when you said that even if you were talking about the word effortless instead I decided that I love thank you so much for sparing a minute to say that cause I needed it on my life

Jungkook covered Tori Kelly's PAPER HEARTS!! And they also met in person this year at the Grammy's, she said she had already heard JK's covers and proposed a collaboration.
He does such a great job with Paper hearts
And he was so embarrassed lol that clip is so cute
I know one thing, when he sings with other people, no matter what they're doing he knows exactly where to place his voice...harmonizing or whatever, he just knows Annndddd that's hard as hell. Most folks don't realize that. A lot of folks have to be told where they should be when harmonizing, This young man just knows. It took me from the age of around nine until I was twelve to be able to do that. Jungkook is just marvelous from head to toe.
You analizing his voice is so dope!
Everytime I see people reacting to this I kinda cringe because these are nowhere near the best clips of Jk but you understanding the circumstances the singers go through made it way more satisfactory to watch!

Yeah these kinds of videos are usually very dependent on the selected clips, & the clips rarely if ever give context to the entire situation that’s going on so I tried to provide some of that for this video, glad you liked it 💙
jungkook is seriously such an amazing vocalist. its crazy to think that he wasn't even that into singing at first, he was mostly interested in dancing and didnt think he'd become the main vocalist. hes just so good at everything its not fair lol
He works damn hard so it makes sense
The clip of JK (with lots of reverb) is one that pisses me off a little because the original had a music track and someone removed the music but it left this weird sound. I get people wanted to hear his voice, but I personally think the original is better. The song is called Ending Scene and JK made 2 versions of it which are available for free on soundcloud and he uploaded a teaser clip on Twitter, which is the clip in this video. You should look it up. It’s a really beautiful song.

The mark of a true professional is making something hard look easy and effortless. If you see someone do something and you think, "that looks so easy, I could probably do that," they are professional. They practice their skill for a long time and that's what makes them amazing.

He is when by himself there he is in his closet thus "Golden Closet Productions". He is singing Roy Kim's song and "He" sings that way very breathy. What you are looking at with your mouth wide open was while he was recording Euphoria. He was also on his knees doing that. ON HIS KNEES. O N .... H I S ... K N E E S !!!!!!!! And he was trying out different notes to record. JK was taught to sing just crazy good.
Yeh and he actually didn’t take vocal lessons since debuting according to his be-hind the story of him. I was blown away when he said that and his own ability to mix vocal colors into his own style… but he said he doesn’t take lessons bc he kept losing his own style when learning… but he said that he has so much to grow when it comes to technique… it’s just crazy that he basically said he never takes lessons which is why he basically sings all the time lol I love his voice and style of singing … can’t get enough

I agree with all your words.he is a wonderful singer who is not afraid to sing live or without Autotone.he is a person who, without fear of being judged by others, makes clips of his singing at the moment and to make his fans happy. Share. His voice may not even be the best in those clips, or he may be fault, but he is not afraid to show his mistakes to his fans and share them with his fans. That's why I think he's the best singer. Yes, I think he has the potential to become a superstar in the music world far more than he is now.I love him so much😇✌❤️

Jungkook is one heck of a versatile singer and he didn't acquire his vocal skills at the idol school. It's literally self-taught, if you will. You will clearly see how his vocal skills have developed when you watch Jungkook the main vocalist of BTS by Ida S.

Love that you mentioned his school, but because of his training in the company and tours/concerts/trips he rarely attended that school, and he was only enrolled in that school for his last 3 years of High School.

9:04 The name of this song is called Ending Scene (he actually sings breathy in a lot of songs lol, not entire songs but in many parts of many songs.) This song has an official recording, I think you would like it, you should react to it.
Pronunciation: jungkook is pronounced like the other spelling Jeongguk. Ch/j, then halfway between ahn and un, then gook with a short k sound. *Correct me Koreans if I’m wrong!*
I honestly don't know how to explain how to pronounce his name lol I just read it how it written in Korean because I can read hangeul. To people who don't understand how the Korean language works is quite hard to pronounce
jyu. ya I watched a video by a Korean man pronouncing his name and he walked step by step through how to pronounce it. If you can at least say it like jeongguk, you’re close

jungkook loves tori kelly! they were able to meet her briefly at the BBMAS and take a picture with her, kook was so excited lmao
JK was not able to attend much of his classes due to constantly promoting, doing shows with BTS. He actually graduated high school a year later. He got a lot of training and practice from experience. That guy basically lived in the recording studios. He sang the guides and is credited for the choruses of almost all of their songs. He worked so much with producers singing the guides for songs. He started his career at 15 years old and had been singing a couple of years back as a trainee. I read somewhere that JK is constantly listening to music when he wakes up before he sleeps and times in between. He used to carry around a bluetooth speaker everywhere. He has a lot of them! Haha
That's the best way to get better! Always putting in that work! Have to put in the time!

I love that you are so enthusiastic and that you’ve got so much knowledge about how to sing. Then you try to make us understand what difference a good and a better singer. The way you describe what’s happening in the vocal cords and when you’ve got the right trainings will make it even better. It has nothing to do with how good your natural singing voice was in the beginning, but how much you practice. I will say you are a pretty good teacher! By the way I’m 54 years old and actually a teacher, I came across BTS through my pupils. They and my own children always bring new music to me, for that I’m so grateful.

A year ago, today. BTS gave us one of the most beautiful and self-worth inspiring songs of all time- Lights. A song of reassurance that it’s okay to be who you truly are, there’s no need to pretend. Don’t lie to yourself anymore and give yourself the break you deserve from always meeting everyone’s standards and expectations that you almost lost yourself in the process. But most significantly, a song for BTS and ARMYs showcasing such wondrous mutual love of being each other’s light in times of darkness. Of how BTS is ARMYs’ lights just as how ARMYs is BTS’ lights and together- we all will walk out of fear. Here’s to one year with this beautiful masterpiece 💜. Please check it out if you haven't yet.

It's a beautiful song. IU have recently released a song featuring Yoongi (Suga). Yoongi produced the song.

just a little note on the breathy singing, ive noticed its like. WAY more common in Korean music, especially ballad singers, they seem to do the whole breathy style of singing a lot more, not sure why but im into it. As for BTS, i've noticed Jin does it the most
and im not an expert on this stuff but im studying korean and im pretty sure the vowel sounds he uses when singing are more of a stylistic choice, korean vowels are clearer when spoken if that makes sense

17:40 I know this like super late and irrelevant now. But that Idol school you were talking about is not a singing school. It's a school that allows idols to do their individual work schedules and still allows them to go to school. Maybe they go once a month or something like that and have work sent to them.

I missed your rants especially since you read me at that rant about doing multiple takes on vocal recordings. Oof I can’t tell you how many times I’d stop and be like I CANT SING I GIVE UP...then I’d changed the whole instrumental to change the key , but then I realize it was just a mental game. Sigh. JK is just inspiring for male vocalist in his clear and controlled tone.

Hey there is another compilation that is called jungkooks amazing vocals that has a lot of good clips as well. If you don't want to react to that it's cool, but it's awesome just to enjoy. I've been saying this about jungkook as well how he has the most technically sound voice and technique, it's nice to hear someone who understands musicality react!

By the way the first song you didn’t know what it was was Airplane Pt 2, really good performances and video if you haven’t reacted to it yet. JKs voice was always good, but has gotten better and more range over time. He truly is the Golden Maknae, RM called it right.
