Yep, he is such an amazing vocalist. This guy became the main vocalist at age 15, i can't imagine what pressure that must have been, but I understand why. He can basically sing everything and it sounds incredible, that's how good he is. He has become one of the best vocalist out there (my opinion). He got the whole package. So I think JK does a right thing. If he wants to be unique, he must do it by himself. And boy he succeeds :)

You barely scratched the surface when it comes to Jungkookie. There is so much to see and catch up on - James Corden Carpool karaoke; The Masked Singer; in the Soop ad libs recording; recording of Euphoria; JK rapping ( equally good as his singing), his English covers ( he does them better than JB) etc..... I am sure he is pretty aware of his gift by now. You can even see his confidence, enthusiasm and utter joy ( basically he gets in-the-zone ) when he sings but he remains humble about it and continuously improves. Jungkook claimed recently he didn´t use a vocal coach as he didn´t want to lose his uniqueness but I am sure he has covered all basics more than plenty in earlier years. I even heard somewhere he used to have the same vocal coach as Suga. Can´t direct to a source though. Yep, Jungkook is special and his tool box is massive. One in a million.
YESSSS he is like genuinely the best vocalist i know. I have been a fan for a long time now but still i can never wrap my head around how effortless and perfect his vocals are, i mean he just opens his mouth and thats what comes out!!!??? About the vocal lessons or who his vocal coach is, as far as we know he had vocal lessons during his trainee days but it was for a very short amount of time. He wanted to become an amazing singer and he also wanted to prove his worth in the team so he basically said that from that time on he "erased the idea of 1hour of vocal practice" so he was just singing everywhere at any time of the day, in the shower, in the car etc... In the recent live he said he purposefully doesn't take any vocal lessons because he doesn't want to lose his signature vocal quality and tonality, so he practices on his own. Basically what we're hearing now is raw talent that has been perfected to no flaw with hours and hours of hard work from him :))

I love his voice! In a recent TV show he said at first when he was 14 he had vocal lesson but decide to give up to learn by himself to have his own style of singing.
He had no idea he would be picked as main vocal. They sent him to LA to learn how to dance. When he came back he told Jimin he wanted to quit BTS and become just a dancer. Jimin talked him out of it. When he first got signed he would not sing alone in front of the other members. He was so shy. He would just cry. Somehow...a miracle...he discovered he could sing...really sing. Thank you...he doesnt autotune although he sounds like he does...that is just his voice. He has been accused of it his whole career. He did start out with a vocal coach, but stopped when she wasn't developing the voice he knew he had. He developed his own voice by practicing non stop every day.

All four of the BTS vocalists are incredible, but JK is the main vocalist. The first person he was singing with was Jimin, during a vocal line song in concert. The one he was singing Karaoke with was V, also part of the BTS vocal line. If you want to get a taste of V's vocal talents, you should check out the video for his solo song Singularity and a live performance for another of his solo songs, Stigma. You don't have to look up the lyrics unless you want to, I'm just talking about the sound and the vibe of these two solo songs. The meanings are deep, though.

5:52 Is Jimin and JK. Jimin is the lead vocalist and JK the main vocalist. I love when they harmonize. But all 4 vocalists are amazing. Jimin is also the one with the highest range that you thought was a female voice or female song when JK (tried to, he said it was to high for him) and sang along to part of Jimin's solosong Filter during the live stream you watched.
Next you need to react to Kim Seokjin's high notes. The video "Kim seokjin is the weakest vocalist" is a great video to watch. a lot of people underestimate him because he had zero background in singing and dancing, starting only when he was put into BTS.
Jungkook knows he has a specific sound and he knows the technicalities of producing sound. There is a clip of him helping Jimin to achieve what he wants with his voice. It must have been scary to be the main vocalist for the group at 15 but he’s never let them down. His adlibs are legendary.
He's said that he tried to go to as few vocal lessons as he could so that he could maintain his style and not lose it in favor of learning technique. So he's basically his own teacher, saying that he used to (and prob still does) sing every possible minute of every day to get better and stay consistent while also learning and growing.
The one singing the higher harmony with Jk is Jimin, you should really check out his high notes and raspy vocals videa to truly appreciate his voice as well. Every vocalist brings something different and unique to BTS so I recommend not focusing solely on Jungkook but listening to Jimin, V and Jin singing videos to get the full understanding of how diverse the vocal line actually is

Like no doubt JK earned his position as the main vocalist but I get my feelings hurt a little when a reactor only focuses on ONE vocal line member and says things like "that person is the best ever, no one can compare, etc."….like they’re all amazing in their practice, talent and hard work.They need to react to all of them (and respectively the rap-line) to understand what everyone uniquely brings to the group and how they mesh together (and of course on their own in solo songs/projects). BTS debuted in 2013 and Jungkook and he got his first proper vocal lesson in 2019. Last year a korean singer and vocal coach named Kim Yeon-woo said that Jungkook called him and asked if he could give him vocal lessons since he never had a proper one before. Recently Jungkook said that he hasn't got many vocal lessons on purpose because he felt like the colours in his voice was affected whenever he had lessons. So he has mostly learned singing on his own.
That big note in Truth Untold was Jin!! Please react to more Jin's vocals, he is so underrated, but no less amazing than Jungkook or any other member from the vocal line! Oh also, Jungkook recently mentioned (I think it was in those Be-hind interviews) that he very rarely goes to singing lessons!!! He just said he sings everywhere, all the time, no matter what he is doing, just non stop practicing. That must be why he is the most stable vocalist in BTS and his voice stays stable even while dancing a lot (other members are also amazing while dancing, but he remains so stable as if it was a recording and not a live performance...)

All four of the BTS vocalists are incredible, but JK is the main vocalist. The first person he was singing with was Jimin, during a vocal line song in concert. The one he was singing Karaoke with was V, also part of the BTS vocal line. If you want to get a taste of V's vocal talents, you should check out the video for his solo song Singularity and a live performance for another of his solo songs, Stigma. You don't have to look up the lyrics unless you want to, I'm just talking about the sound and the vibe of these two solo songs. The meanings are deep, though.

Jimin is also the one with the highest range that you thought was a female voice or female song when JK (tried to, he said it was to high for him) and sang along to part of Jimin's solosong Filter during the live stream you watched.

Next you need to react to Kim Seokjin's high notes. The video "Kim seokjin is the weakest vocalist" is a great video to watch. a lot of people underestimate him because he had zero background in singing and dancing, starting only when he was put into BTS.

Jungkook knows he has a specific sound and he knows the technicalities of producing sound. There is a clip of him helping Jimin to achieve what he wants with his voice. It must have been scary to be the main vocalist for the group at 15 but he’s never let them down. His adlibs are legendary.

He's said that he tried to go to as few vocal lessons as he could so that he could maintain his style and not lose it in favor of learning technique. So he's basically his own teacher, saying that he used to (and prob still does) sing every possible minute of every day to get better and stay consistent while also learning and growing.

Every vocalist brings something different and unique to BTS so I recommend not focusing solely on Jungkook but listening to Jimin, V and Jin singing videos to get the full understanding of how diverse the vocal line actually is
I really appreciate the way you worded this!! Like no doubt JK earned his position as the main vocalist but I get my feelings hurt a little when a reactor only focuses on ONE vocal line member and says things like "that person is the best ever, no one can compare, etc."….like they’re all amazing in their practice, talent and hard work.They need to react to all of them (and respectively the rap-line) to understand what everyone uniquely brings to the group and how they mesh together (and of course on their own in solo songs/projects). LIKE PLEASE LISTEN TO ALLL OF THEM FIRST is all I ask of people to see what all of them have to offer 🥺
Also I get this is a JK focused video/reaction but again the comments are mostly ONLY recommending other JK based songs and such…..very few are pointing out that the rest of the vocal line is uniquely amazing as well and he needs to react the the others too 😔 Please, everyone needs to show the hard work every member puts in. This is all my opinion of course.
@@BangTannieOT7 was kinda afraid of posting this comment because I didn't want people to think that I'm not appreciating Jungkook because I truly think that he is an extraordinary singer but I also wanted to point out that the others are also amazing, and at this time after listening to their recent performances I'm positive that the other three have become equally as good as Jk just in different ways because each one of them has a unique tone that requires a specific vocal technique and I feel like now they all have finally mastered their vocals

All of the members have found the techniques that work best for them and that really shows off their strong points vocally; even tho I know each member says they’re working harder to get better which I think that mindset has driven them to the success that they’re at now. None of them are content in a style that they’re comfortable in….they are always wanting to try new things in every aspect of their profession; they aren’t complacent! ANYWAY LOL, thank you for respectfully voicing your opinion…at the end of the day I want all of the members to shine brightly 🥰💜
BTS debuted in 2013 and Jungkook and he got his first proper vocal lesson in 2019. Last year a korean singer and vocal coach named Kim Yeon-woo said that Jungkook called him and asked if he could give him vocal lessons since he never had a proper one before. Recently Jungkook said that he hasn't got many vocal lessons on purpose because he felt like the colours in his voice was affected whenever he had lessons. So he has mostly learned singing on his own.
That big note in Truth Untold was Jin!! Please react to more Jin's vocals, he is so underrated, but no less amazing than Jungkook or any other member from the vocal line!
Oh also, Jungkook recently mentioned (I think it was in those Be-hind interviews) that he very rarely goes to singing lessons!!! He just said he sings everywhere, all the time, no matter what he is doing, just non stop practicing. That must be why he is the most stable vocalist in BTS and his voice stays stable even while dancing a lot (other members are also amazing while dancing, but he remains so stable as if it was a recording and not a live performance...)
