Technically "Beyond the Scene" is their "Western name" that (from my perspective) they promoted very briefly to make it easier for western audiences to recognize them by. But everyone just uses BTS, and ARMY rarely address them as Beyond the Scene. I honeslty forget they even have it and just stick with BTS and Bangtan. (I personally don't like "Beyond the Scene" because it erases the meaning behind what "Bangtan Sonyeondon" represents.) But that is just my PERSONAL OPINION and does NOT reflect ARMY as a whole.

I always thought that “Beyond the Scene” was just a cute little thing that they were like “hey that’s also BTS” but I refuse to believe that they actually changed their name to that. Bangtan Sonyeondan has so much power behind it.
I agree and would say most Westerners have embraced the original meaning behind Bullet Proof Boy Scouts since it best reflective of their core beliefs and from their culture. Beyond The Scene is rarely ever mentioned, because they really don't need it as a way to relate to fans anymore. They really are Beyond that name.
"Dong-Saeng" means someone close who's younger than you. like a little brother or a little sister. You will also hear this term "Hyung" a lot. "Hyung" is kindda a call name when a younger male calls an older male. But, they have to be close and need a permission
There is a British dude who reacted to BTS everyday but can only recognise RM. Everyone else is "that's not RM". I called him out mercilessly under the comments and never went back to his channel. You cant say you like anything n not remember their names. I hate fake people who uses BTS for views.

rm now goes by “rm” because he said he had a talk with this artist (who he didn’t name) and this artist and him had a conversation as to why rm goes by “rap monster” and joon had open up to us that he feels that rap monster was who he was back then. joon has always had a love-hate with rap monster. i think he really struggled with it. joon changed his name in 2017. joon said that rm now means to him “real me”
BTS decided to make their English name “Beyond the Scenes” but honestly no one calls them that and I think they only did it so they wouldn’t have to explain the real name in interviews
They actually have a series on CZcams when they were designing and creating their "stuffed animal characters" it's on the bt21 channel, it's cool to watch them come up with these characters from scratch and give them back stories! BTS has a collaboration with LINE store for characters, I think that's what you meant by stuffed animals. They're called BT21. BTS- Van (Collective robot) RM- Koya (Blue Koala) Jin- RJ (White Alpaca) SUGA- Shooky (Literally a cookie) JHope- Mang (Blue, pink, purple horse) Jimin- Chimmy (Bald puppy with yellow onesie) V- Tata (Heartshaped alien) Jungkook- Cooky (Pink bunny) They got to design these characters themselves and decided, explained and drew BT21. They made a "making of" video actually so just watch that to find out more, you don't have to post a reaction. They have also added a storyline and are making an online series about it along with the "making of" the storyline that the members of BTS do themselves as well. Sidenote, I think all BT21 characters now have their own little song. I strongly recommend Shooky's song.
BTS has not changed their name they are bangtan Sonyeondan aka bangtan boys translates to bulletproof boy scouts.. the part about them protecting the youth is what J-hope said their name means... They can also be called BTS as in Beyond The Scene because they do share a lot of what's goes on in the background with shows like Burn The Stage, Bring The Soul, and the BTS bomb clips they upload to CZcams..they also have a variety shows called RUN BTS and a travel/vlog type of series called bon voyage

6:33 It was right before the concert started. V said to Jin that he needs to run faster in Spring Day (there is a move like that). It was a mere opinion, but Jin became kinda offended and said he already is doing his best. He also said something in the lines of 'what is the big deal?'. With this V thought Jin took that as a joke and got defensive. They didn't really yell at each other, but the one that broke the argument was RM. Jin apologised, (age is a big deal in Korea and no matter who started it,V was supposed to be the one apologising first.). V felt horrible and on the way to the stage started crying (what you saw in the video). But not to worry because they cleared things up after the concert.

tbh the introduction of jimin was only showing one side of jimin cause he isnt only a clumsy cutie but as example he also can be pretty scary when being angry, he is actually such a slytherin (RM aka Namjoon said that himself). i hate how he is most of the time projected as soft, weak and clumsy! Jin’s character is RJ who’s an alpaca. RJ loves to cook and eat and make people feel comfortable at home. Suga’s character is Shooky who’s a cookie. Shooky is small, likes to prank others, but hates milk. J-Hope’s character is Mang who we don’t actually know what he is because he always wears a horse mask to hide his identity. Mang has those sick dance moves though. Jimin’s character is Chimmy who is a dog that wears a yellow hoody. Chimmy is a workaholic and perfectionist. V’s character is Tata who is a prince from planet BT that has supernatural powers and an elastic body (don’t ask) Tata’s head is a red, lopsided heart shape. Jungkook’s character is Cooky who’s a pink bunny. Cooky has a lot of stamina and a perky personality. Army (BTS fandbase) has their own character named Van who is an all knowing robot that protects all the other bt21 characters.

A few words to know when watching Korean content, From a female's perspective: Oppa: used by women towards guys who are older Unni: used by women towards women who are older From a male's perspective: Noona: used by guys towards women who are older Hyung: used by guys towards guys who are older Dongsaeng: the younger sibling/friend (Like onee san and onii san in japanese but japan uses it more for family and relatives. Korea uses it for everyone if that makes sense. Like in America, we used bro or sis towards friends and siblings.)
I think it's just impressive how RM is intelligent in so MANY ways - logical and mathematical intellect obviously, but also linguistic, musical, intrapersonal, interpersonal, etc. 6:32 they fought about a choreography problem and it was really minor but it kind of escalated bc V felt he wasn't listened to and Jin felt frustrated that V kept repeating himself (bc he felt he wasn't getting his point across). The respect that is expected from younger people in Korean culture kind of came into it a little too and tensions were heightened because the group realized the choreography problem only minutes before their performance, which is also why RM finally made them break off the argument and told them to focus on the performance. Afterwards the other members made V and Jin sit down and talk it out. Both said the argument probably made them closer in the end.

There are reactors that have lliterally been watching BTS for several months and still don't know they're names and can't tell them apart. I know someone probably already mentioned this but Beyond The Scene is indeed a name they trademarked in 2017 as they started becoming bigger in the western world. Mainly since the original abbreviation is Korean. But it isn't really used, instead they are called BTS and people often call them by their "old" English name Bangtan Boys or Bulletproof Boy Scouts. But in Korea they still use BangTan Sonyeondan (or sometimes/ever since being internationally bigger BTS) for them.

(It’s from an interview I believe from last year?) He changed the name because he felt that wasnt really him. He want to be himself . He didn’t want to be seen as a “monster” and known for that since his own persona had a lot of hate related to both his name and style. I know from older ARMYS saying that other groups were purposely attacking him for his style since it was so similar to “black culture” and were calling him racist etc when his whole origin of the look had nothing to do with it. So he just chose to change his name and grow from it. 22:00 you're referring to BT21!! They launched their own brand back in (I think) late 2017 and the characters were each created by a member and have their own storyline. BT21 was actually made in collaboration with LINEfriends (you know, like Brown and friends) and I'm almost 100% certain it's regarded as a designer brand. RM's character is the blue koala, KOYA. Jin's is RJ the alpaca. Suga's is SHOOKY the cookie lol. J-Hope's is MANG the dancing horse. Jimin's is CHIMMY the yellow puppy. V's is TATA, the heart shaped alien, and Jungkook's is COOKY the pink bunny. There's also another character called VAN, a large robot-like guy who just kinda hangs out and watches over the BT21 characters. BT21 actually did a collab in 2018 with Anti Social Social Club and released some really cool stuff. You should definitely check it out!!
ok, so i saw people already informed you about the emoji characters we use to represent them, and also the bt21 characters they created in juction with Line, but before all of these a long time ago they actually had another animal based representation of the members called "hip hop monsters" they had a web comic for this where each animal was styled after and named after a member, there was a webcomic series and a lot of merch. the members in this are these animals: RM (at the time rapmonster): Duck (no idea, i think he used to do duck faces?) suga: turtle (because he likes sleep and moving slowly?? maybe?) jimin: cat (or fox?) dongsaeng (like sang) just means little brother, basically Korean version of kouhei and someones age/how you address them is really really important in Korean culture
I know some people explained Hyung and dongsaeng, I just wanted to add that the reason korea has these titles is because they're like a sign of respect. It's being formal to people older than you, even if they're just a few months older. Now if people are super close, they don't mind being informal with each other cuz they're good friends. There's also titles with girls too. From a younger girl addressing to an older girl is unnie, younger guy to older girl is noona, younger girl to older guy is oppa

Technically "Beyond the Scene" is their "Western name" that (from my perspective) they promoted very briefly to make it easier for western audiences to recognize them by.
But everyone just uses BTS, and ARMY rarely address them as Beyond the Scene.
I honeslty forget they even have it and just stick with BTS and Bangtan.
(I personally don't like "Beyond the Scene" because it erases the meaning behind what "Bangtan Sonyeondon" represents.)
But that is just my PERSONAL OPINION and does NOT reflect ARMY as a whole.

As a 57yo mom, I was so moved & inspired that I had to know more about this young man & the group of artists BTS. rm now goes by “rm” because he said he had a talk with this artist (who he didn’t name) and this artist and him had a conversation as to why rm goes by “rap monster” and joon had open up to us that he feels that rap monster was who he was back then. joon has always had a love-hate with rap monster. i think he really struggled with it. joon changed his name in 2017. joon said that rm now means to him “real me”

RM grew out of the name Rap Monster. He didn’t like referring to himself as a monster. He explains it in a few interviews 💜💜💜.
BTS has a collaboration with LINE store for characters, I think that's what you meant by stuffed animals. They're called BT21.

It was right before the concert started. V said to Jin that he needs to run faster in Spring Day (there is a move like that). It was a mere opinion, but Jin became kinda offended and said he already is doing his best. He also said something in the lines of 'what is the big deal?'. With this V thought Jin took that as a joke and got defensive.
They didn't really yell at each other, but the one that broke the argument was RM. Jin apologised, (age is a big deal in Korea and no matter who started it,V was supposed to be the one apologising first.).

I think it's just impressive how RM is intelligent in so MANY ways - logical and mathematical intellect obviously, but also linguistic, musical, intrapersonal, interpersonal, etc.
6:32 they fought about a choreography problem and it was really minor but it kind of escalated bc V felt he wasn't listened to and Jin felt frustrated that V kept repeating himself (bc he felt he wasn't getting his point across). The respect that is expected from younger people in Korean culture kind of came into it a little too and tensions were heightened because the group realized the choreography problem only minutes before their performance, which is also why RM finally made them break off the argument and told them to focus on the performance. Afterwards the other members made V and Jin sit down and talk it out. Both said the argument probably made them closer in the end.
I really love how you read your comments and are genuinely interested in the members. There are reactors that have lliterally been watching BTS for several months and still don't know they're names and can't tell them apart. I know someone probably already mentioned this but Beyond The Scene is indeed a name they trademarked in 2017 as they started becoming bigger in the western world. Mainly since the original abbreviation is Korean. But it isn't really used, instead they are called BTS and people often call them by their "old" English name Bangtan Boys or Bulletproof Boy Scouts.
But in Korea they still use BangTan Sonyeondan (or sometimes/ever since being internationally bigger BTS) for them.

He changed the name because he felt that wasnt really him. He want to be himself . He didn’t want to be seen as a “monster” and known for that since his own persona had a lot of hate related to both his name and style. I know from older ARMYS saying that other groups were purposely attacking him for his style since it was so similar to “black culture” and were calling him racist etc when his whole origin of the look had nothing to do with it. So he just chose to change his name and grow from it. He still acknowledged that it was part of him but he’s grown and would take more into account of historical backgrounds or Really research what he’s doing (both as a person and lyrically) of something before putting something out into the world

22:00 you're referring to BT21!! They launched their own brand back in (I think) late 2017 and the characters were each created by a member and have their own storyline. BT21 was actually made in collaboration with LINEfriends (you know, like Brown and friends) and I'm almost 100% certain it's regarded as a designer brand. RM's character is the blue koala, KOYA. Jin's is RJ the alpaca. Suga's is SHOOKY the cookie lol. J-Hope's is MANG the dancing horse. Jimin's is CHIMMY the yellow puppy. V's is TATA, the heart shaped alien, and Jungkook's is COOKY the pink bunny. There's also another character called VAN, a large robot-like guy who just kinda hangs out and watches over the BT21 characters. I know some people explained Hyung and dongsaeng, I just wanted to add that the reason korea has these titles is because they're like a sign of respect. It's being formal to people older than you, even if they're just a few months older. Now if people are super close, they don't mind being informal with each other cuz they're good friends. There's also titles with girls too. From a younger girl addressing to an older girl is unnie, younger guy to older girl is noona, younger girl to older guy is oppa

I see just three video of you reacting to bts but you already become one of my favorite, I usually see a lot (and I mean A LOOOT) of people first time reacting to bts on their channel but so far you are the only one interesting enough to make me wanna see your others not bts-related video. 22:06 Im sure someone has already told you by now, but just in case: BTS has a cartoon character that they have each drawn and created themselves, and the group of characters is called BT21, and there is even a character, Van, that represents ARMY. So now there is a BT21 line where you can by merch or watch the BT21 cartoon show/clips they put out! The characters are:

@@SoggycereaI officially it isnt actually a horse but an unknown species wearing a horse/pony mask and the BT21 characters aren't the boys' personas, they're their 'babies' if you will 😁
Hobi's nickname used to be horse and I think you know why, but during a reality tv show (cant remember which one but Heechul was there) the hosts were trying to guess whose nickname was whose and when Hobi's came up he said he didn't like it and the rude kpop fans also use it as an insult when they mention him. So we don't use it and use a squirrel instead 😊
