Grew up listening to ub40 I lived a few miles from Birmingham city. Met Ali Campbell once in Brum his reply to my ‘omg its you’ was ‘yeah bab it is’ 😂

UB40 ARE my childhood ❤️ Along with Two Tone, Ska and I was introduced to Bob Marley at 5 years old🫶🏻❤️When I fell into a lifelong loving relationship with Reggae🇯🇲Made a lifelong dream come true in 2019 and made it to Jamaica from Scotland. UB40 were brilliant at the beginning, Tyler, King, Burden of Shame and this. There's a great version of this track from Rock Goes to College i think, where theyre joined by Mikey Dread which you have to hunt out.

Do you know where the band name comes from? And the lyric "l am the one in ten".
UB40 was the form you filled in to get Unemployment Benefit, the form number 40. At that time, one in 10 were on UB.
