Ali Campbell is one of the greatest Reggae singers of all time, even as a white guy. He's amazing
This song always get me in the mood. I attended UB40 live when I was younger TWICE! 😊😍
That voice on that song....so beautiful it makes you want to weep. My favorite UB40 song. I never get tired of hearing it.
Homely girl, many rivers to cross, one in ten, here i am, so many great songs by ub40 you could easily spend the whole day binging their songs and smile through them all.
One of my mums favs. Played it at her funeral in 2001
Love this song (thank you dad for sharing me these legendary classics)
UB40 officially the biggest selling reggae band in the world and from my neighbourhood! React to 'red red wine'.
Nice! I reacted to it 🙌🏽 just need to edit and upload, I’ll post this week!
Me too. I'm in Mossley.

Glad you're enjoying a bit of UB40, try Many Rivers To Cross, very soulful
Was this an original song of theirs? I feel like I’ve heard it before
@@RadJarrettTheIntrovert No, I don't think it is, but it's a beautiful cover

Tyler is Guilty was a very early song written and sung by them. Worth researching if you live in US.
The actual music video is much better as it pays homage to the Windrush generation. Massive impact on UB40’s music in general. Great reaction.
One of my fav UB40 songs is The Way You Do the Things You Do. I remember it all over the radio in the 90s.
late 70's and 80's
@@djdelugach2402 I wasn't alive in the seventies and I was a baby in the '80s so for me I remember it in the 90s.
fair enough...lol
Art they great UB40 the best they black @white brill
You are the best reactor out there.
If you loved this you need to go down the ub40 rabbit hole…Massive in the 80’s 90’s in the UK seen them twice live, start with their chart hits, Many rivers to cross, Homely Girl, Rat in my Kitchen, The way you do the things you do, One in ten, Don’t break my heart….. etc etc ..❤️❤️
It's such a good song. It just brings joy to my heart every time I listen to it.
One in Ten
Food for Thought
Rat in my Kitchen

oh god my youth 😍
XTRA merci a toi =) Bisous de France !!!
🔥 reaction. Grew up listening to UB40. Haven’t listened to this jam in a while it brought me back.
I think you will really enjoy Ez Mil. Please give this Filipino independent artist a shot on your channel. One reaction turns into more because he is so talented. He raps in multiple languages, sing sings, dances, makes his own beats, plays piano, guitar, and drums, and directs and edits his own videos. He’s crosses many genres, a true independent artist, and he’s only 22. Please react to Ez Mil’s, Panalo Live on the Wish Bus, that now has 57 Million views. Thank you. God Bless.
Nice! I will try to get it done this weekend as I’ve never heard of him before
UB40 spent 214 weeks in the UK charts in the 1980's, more than any other act except for Madness. UB40's 20th album - 'For The Many' was released 2019. My favourite song off this album is 'What Happened To UB40?'
Impressive!
Rat In the Kitchen (whoa whoa whoa yeah)
Great choice this is their best song
Love this. 10cc did Dreadlock Holiday, you may fancy listening to that sometime
Thank you! I will check it out!
@@RadJarrettTheIntrovert Please react to Dreadlock Holiday! You will not be disappointed!✌
React to Homley Girl by these guys. It's lit!🤘
Please, please , do Food for thought by UB40. You will love it

I love your Bloodclaat T shirt 😂😂
UB40 FIRST EVER REGGAE DUB BAND FROM BIRMINGHAM UK IM A HUGE FAN
Trivia for you UB40 was the number on a document you needed to sign to claim unemployment benefit back in the 70s when UK unemployment was sky high...thats where the band got the name from.
This is a cover of the original by Lord Creator , UB40 did a great job , massive in the UK , saw Bob Marley way back never to be forgotten Cheera
Yes, it's a cover. UB40 did 3 cover albums of all their favourite songs, all the albums were called Labour of love, 1, 2 and 3 and they were as good as the originals. I'm also a huge fan of Bob Marley, but let's not forget his British roots also. His Dad was a white Royal Navy officer and he also got famous whilst in the UK
@@overthewebb I was lucky enough and old enough to see Bob Marley at the Colston Hall in Bristol , the Rastaman Vibration tour , a cherished memory
@@bobbyboko6317 I'm jealous, I love Bob Marley also. Wish I could've seen him live
@@bobbyboko6317 What makes me sad though is a lot of people think UB40 were a cover band, sure they did 3 cover albums, but they also did 13 albums of original music and are the only British band to be accepted in Jamaica for Reggae
@@overthewebb Great reggae band lots of original stuff, I love the Twenty Four Seven album . They were influenced by the same music that I was when I was a kid Cheers
This song as always gives me goose bumps u should listen to more UB40
Food for thought is my best UB40 tune
Their early works is what I preferred...social commentaries...fitting their UB40 name...but their later works [mostly covers] are more commercially successful...
It's weird to me that you are an American Jamaican.
I'm from Birmingham (UB40's home town) which has a fairly large population of good folks from the West Indies, and of course Jamaica. So I'm more used to a straight up Jamaican accent or else a Jamaican/Brummie accent, not American! lol
Great that you found UB40 and are enjoying their music.
🎉Miyagi - fuck the money
the original song from lord creator (1970) is a traditional skinhead classic
Hate to sound ignorant but skinhead?
@@RadJarrettTheIntrovert no problem, there's a reason i put the word traditional before sk ^.^ check out this docu czcams.com/video/reGXa3vgeF4/video.html
@@RadJarrettTheIntrovert Yes the skinhead movement was hi jacked in the mid eighties by a bunch of morons , a real pity
@@RadJarrettTheIntrovert - 1969 .....Symarip - Skinhead Monstomp....classic.....

UB40 legend everyone has their fav song so get best of album 1st 1 is the best
This is a great version but an even better is the original by Lord Creator. Amazing
You should check out "Big Youth" one of my favorite songs is "one day soon".
📝📝
I'm an old git. Booggied to the guy in the 70s
The lead singer is a white English man. From Birmingham if memory serves.
Often got stick for "copying" a Jamaican in his singing.
The song is about the Jamaican immigrants coming to the U. K to help with the labor shortage in the 50s. All the English men had gone to war, or died in ww2.
It's about how they wanted to get their wife, (queen) from Jamaica. He being the king of his home.
It's lamenting their warm sunny country in the rain and rotten English weather
Try Harry Belefonte “Jump In The Line”.

Is that the same Kingston Town video from 2008 ur reacting to? I remember listening to it and those red yellow green pics of it back in my middle school days. Lol.
Loved this song!
He is massive Bob Marley fan
Subbed for more UB40 content.
UB40? Try 'King', 'The Earth Dies Screaming' or 'One In Ten'.
ALI CAMPBELL is the Lead Singer.
Hay sweetie have a listen to UB40 Bring me your cup .
👋🏽 no, i don’t think I’ve heard that one yet. Guessing it’s good?
This song is soooo good. It's a whole mood!
It's awesome, it just makes u wanna move your body xxx
@@RadJarrettTheIntrovert sooo good!
Ub40 1 in 10.
Interesting fact, 'ub40' was the name of the original unemployment benefit form which had to be completed to get the allowance. It was a silent jibe to the government about the amount of unemployed black immigrants and the support they got compared to the rest of the population. A very unfair situation.
Please react to Bob Marley Mr Brown
ub40 are brummie
Please react to:
Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak, Silk Sonic - Leave the Door Open [Official Video]
I got you, i like bruno Mars, don’t think i know any Anderson paak songs though
you’re sorry because you heard the song was about your home town ??..no way dude ..it your hometown ..peace brother .. UB40 timeless
Listen to the original by Lord Creator brilliant
Baby Come Back is another brilliant track by UB40
Ub40 didn’t act reggae, they grew up in a predominantly West Indian part of the uk. The whole neighbourhood used to play reggae on the streets and that’s how they ended up all being reggae artists. Music is in the British blood, even Bob Marley is half British
Half Irish
@@sarahpagett9191 no half English
