- My last wild camping trip of the year coincided with the cold snap after a very mild November. Didn't get any snow in the low lying areas of Lincolnshire, but many frosty days. So would be a good test for my cold weather gear - because there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad equipment!
As a learning experience, it has helped. My under-blanket for the hammock probably not quite warm enough for below 0, and my main learning curve is for keeping my battery warm on my camera - I didn't get much footage of the actual camping because of this. Wasn't even able to get a fast charge. Hopefully I have salvaged enough footage to make it worth watching! Hopefully I will be prepared for more wild camps in the cold in future.

Cheers, location was perfect. Walked past it a few times but didn't realise just how good it was. Will need a better underblanket to do winter hammocking in the future though!
