- This week, we tile the shower! I have never tiled a shower before so this was quite the undertaking. In this video, I show you how I tiled the showers floor, the shower walls, the curb, and how to tile a window and a niche! This was a labor of love but I am super proud of how it turned out!

Exactly what I needed! My tile size is smaller 14 x 10 with an accent glass tile & was scared I'd be throwing mortar all over the guest bath. lol You did such a clean install.

Curb-less would have been good here. I like the large format wall tiles.

What profile of Schluter trim is that on the window and niche? I'm almost at this step of my project but get lost in all the different profiles they have.
I used the Jolly which is the standard one that most people use. Just make sure you get the right thickness depending on your tile

Thanks! I have been looking into investing in a lavalier mic actually. I might pick one up soon. I currently use a shotgun Rode mic but I do agree its time for an upgrade

How did you get the slope into the floor? Was it already there in the subfloor?
We used a pre-sloped shower pan from Schluter. Check out the other videos in this series to see the install 😁
What do you have down before you place the mortar?
It is waterproofing. Check out the earlier videos to n the series
What is the ceiling made of?
Reclaimed cedar! I will have a video about the whole process coming out soon!
Aren't you afraid that the ceiling will absorb moisture? Is it protected in any way?
