The song was written mostly by Roger, and John's bass line makes the sound so wonderful train like. The song was released on the album The Miracle in 1989, and the video footage is from the same summer. This is one of my favourite videos, all the band members seems to be so free and cheerful.
Another of my favorite song on my list of my favorite song.
❤❤❤
what a video and what a vocal performance...Freddie at his best
This fabulous artistry gives me one of my most favoured Queen videos. The music, the staging . . . perfect!
Queen
Princes of the Universe ❤
This is my favorite Queen 👑 video ❤❤❤❤❤
❤ Фредди классный певец! Браво!!!!!!!❤
Love the song! 🚂💨 My favorite part is when Freddie sings, “Your smile speaks books to me” then flashes that adorable smile! Add to that, the wind in John’s face, Brian’s guitar chirping, and good ol’ Roger’s sun visor!! Soooooo cute!! 😊
Dear Pluto, I love, love, love the way you love Queen and especially Freddie! I am obsessed w/Freddie and love Queen more than any other band. They were fabulous musicians, singers, writers, they're humble and kind and I love everything about them. Thank you for appreciating this great music!!! Love all your reactions. ❤👑❤
This is an actual video they shot! Consummate performers. Cutting edge videos! Great, thanks!
Queen was always advanced when it came to videos at the time, being known precisely for having established a standard in terms of video, so the video was recorded, without AI (I don't think that was even possible at the time), it must have been amazing and fun to record this, there are some really cool behind the scenes footage! ❤
Queen was a band that did not keep its sound stagnant and was always changing over time, without fear of taking risks, you are entering Queen from the 80s to the 90s with these videos
Queen's talent level: 110%
This is one of my favorite videos, I love the train. The song is wonderful with a strong driving beat from the back end that carries it all through nicely. Love the conductor's hat that Roger is wearing and the wind blowing through Brian's hair is so totally rock star. Thank you for your reaction.
I also love to see John looking so happy, he and Freddie are exuding happiness in this one.
No AI, this was well before it was even thought of. I believe it was 1989 and they found an old train and had it painted and named the Miracle Express and the video was born. It was hard to believe but Freddie's voice got stronger the more he began to decline in health. Thank you for all your reactions!
Yes, they recorded this video themselves, with Debbie Leng, Roger's girlfriend at the time. They lived together for 15 years and had three children.
There's one of those 'making of' videos somewhere, which goes behind the scenes.
So not Roger in drag, then!
@@MusiCatsKing Not this time, no... 🤣
I'm sad to say it, but I do love Freddie's "scruff beard" look. Sad, because we all know the reason for it was to hide the Karposi lesions on his face during his illness. However, he still has the energy and the voice, so you'd never know. And yes, they did film this on the train - no A. I. back then!
I agree, sadly. Freddie was so handsome. John looks like he’s really enjoying the train. Brian hated going thru the tunnel. They were really on a moving train.
I agree, Freddie with a beard was his best style I think.
I would say: imagine rocking that beard just because of your illness, and at the end, still look as good as Freddy did! That's a Rock-Star!🤘❤🤟
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The lady at the beginning was Roger girlfriend at the time, and the railway in Peterborough filming over a couple of days in the summer of 89 hence the beard on Fred, sometimes he wouldn't shave to hide the marks on his face from the HIV, the records at this time were all credited too the whole group, but from memory Roger came up with the sound of a moving train, so they had a steam engine repainted with the name of the album on the side The Miracle (express) this album has since been released again I think this year, with different versions of songs, some demo's and chat in the studio, they must be one of the only groups who sell the merchandise, but then put the whole collectors edition on their CZcams Channel for everyone to hear and enjoy
This is really cool! I listened to some really good and fun recordings, including Face It Alone before it was released as a song
@@GuimaraesDreamers it was always a song which just didn't make the original album, hence about 47 tracks on the new version of the same album
@@sandrabutler8483 So it was already complete? thanks it's a good song, but I understand why it didn't fit with the album
@@GuimaraesDreamers yes as with quite a few others, don't forget they might write 40 or more songs for one album and then choose possibly 10 for said album, it's nothing new, and with all four writing songs you probably ended up with more than 40, and this is also why they released the album again and also around 1995 Made In Heaven with material Freddie left and they finished them off
Thanks, Pluto - No "AI" here.. they actually filmed this on a moving train... I don't think it was going quite as fast as it appears, but I was really nervous first-time watching, b/c NO "safety" harnesses.. and Freddie & Brian just running around... (esp. Fred!)... such a cool song AND video... appreciate your reaction...
Between 30 and 60 mph according to the band
@@flyer3849 Ah, but they were probably referring to Kilometers, which would be more like 18-37 MHP... nevertheless, plenty fast to be running around on an open platform!
Il treno e vero
I love your reactions, thank you! I bet you would like a song sung by Sir Brian May called "Dream of Thee" (Furia Soundtrack) the only place I can find it is Mattia G on youtube. It is quite beautiful. thank you again for awesome reactions. I really love Queen.
🚂🚃
Oh, BTW….
