Love this song and video… it’s just hard to see Freddie knowing his baggy clothes were due to weight loss and discomfort (anything against his skin hurt at this point) and his movements are restrained due to pain and low energy… but his voice never fails him or us. They employed so many visual effects to hide his condition. 💛💛💛💛
I know, he could hardly walk because of a huge sore on his foot. It's not hard, though, to imagine what he would have with this song if he had been his old, fit self.
Great song written by Brian may freddie's voice is outstanding and yes he was ill already but he sounds so dam good his voice is out of his world thanks pluto❤
British Actress Anita Dobson, who was a big star in the UK in the 80s, came to one of Queen’s shows on their 1986 tour, not too long after she met Brian. Talking to the band afterwords, she noted on the power they had over the audience: “I want what you have. I want it all and I want I now.” Of course, Brian was inspired to write a song.
Brian would start an affair with Anita Dobson & eventually marry her as his second wife in 2000.
The version here is a shorter radio edit. If you want more amazing Queen skills, go check out the longer album version which is closer to 5 minutes long. It‘a got a longer guitar intro instead of the a cappella & a longer guitar solo.
This was after Queen stopped touring in 1986, so if you want to hear it live, you’ll have to here it with Roger Daltrey (The Who), Paul Rodgers or Adam Lambert.
I love Freddie's voice in this song and how loud it is, it makes it even cooler when we have that tone transition
This was one of the last videos Freddie did in it's a shame he never got to perform it live could you imagine. The song was inspired by Brian's wife who saw them at Wembley and said I want it all and I want it now seeing how the crowd responded what an amazing song

The album is well loved and went to number one in numerous countries. Hardly underrated.
This song will get you out of your seat, no doubt. How can you not be motivated by them? But speaking as someone who's the same age as those guys, don't expect it Now and don't give up of you don't get it Now. The #1 thing I have learned from 70-odd years of life is that things of true value and worth take a long time to achieve. Probably way longer than you want or expect. Of course Now is always moving, so whenever you get there, that will be your Now. And it means a lot more when it doesn't just fall in your lap. Oh yeah...more Queen reactions, please.

Not wrong, but perhaps too harsh? The 'Greediness' you detect in 2023 was Queen' s "I Want it All" 'originalized', lyricized, sang about, and produced about, in circa 1990.
