I had a friend who wore the power balance wristband, and when I was “able” to prove that it didn’t work, by making him lose balance, he said “well the reason it didn’t work is because I took it off and it takes 10 minutes”. After 10 minutes I was able to make him lose balance. To be fair I pushed him out of the blue, but he did technically lose balance. So I have doubts.
I’m east of America (UK) and can confirm; we have perfect balance and it’s in all of our philosophies.

the thing that Danny said about his bike is actually partly true. We associate certain concepts with certain senses, like the motorcycle sound that Danny's bike made. Because motors are typically faster than a bodily-powered mechanical function, and motors make that specific noise, it tells our brain that it goes faster. Kind of like a response to a TV released in the 2010s. Basically, after release, everybody claimed that the remote felt too cheap and they didn't like it, making people not buy their product. The way that they fixed this was that they added a weight into the remotes, making no other changes to the design, and then relaunching the weighted variety. Immediately, the complaints dissolved, and all the lighter remotes were discarded. People associated the heavier weight higher quality, metal>plastic, etcetera, etcetera, but useless things like that still have a place in association,, even now that they're unnecessary.
Man I remember these. I remember even like legit athletes fell for these. I remember wanting one, not because I thought it would do anything (from the very moment I heard of them, I knew they were bull crap and just stickers) but because I just thought they looked cool lmao. Like a novelty.

Wonder if Danny has ever watched Penn & Teller’s Bullshit. I loved that show. It put so many things like this on blast. They opened what was supposed to be this exclusive restaurant that offered all of these crazy types of water that were either filled with certain minerals or that came from some glacier or something. They sold these bottles of water for astronomical prices and the customers could also taste test them. The customers would explain how they differed from one another and how they preferred “this” one to “that” one. Thing is…every single bottle of water they served………had been filled with water using a garden hose at the back door of the restaurant. Such a good show.

The thing is- the bracelets do help your balance, strength, etc, but not for the reason you think. They are basically better looking anti-morning sickness bracelets. What these do is since they are tight on your wrist and they press on where your veins are, you are just generally more tensed up and aware of what's around you because of the mild discomfort it causes.

So here’s a funny tidbit:
The company said their bracelet is based off of “eastern philosophies”. A common “eastern philosophy” is called the power of attraction. The power of attraction, in essence, means that if you truly believe something will happen, then it will. This company is sort of calling on that particular philosophy to work in making you believe that the bracelet will work. So in other words, *it is based on an eastern philosophy that essentially tricks your mind into believing it will work and thus it does*
I rest my case.
I’ve only ever heard the law of attraction mentioned in like, The Secret, Ayn Rand libertarian hustle inspiration, like, multilevel marketing shit where it’s used as a way to blame the individual for their inability to survive in a system that has no plans of helping them survive. I apologize if it’s also an actual eastern philosophy, but I have never heard that even one time.

The “seeing stars” thing is just something that happens sometimes. Usually, you’ll see very dark green dots coming in and out of your vision. Also, when he said “I do have more. I have thirty of them.” I felt like he was gonna get cancer
I ran into one of these scammers a couple years ago at a state fair.
I was walking through all the sales booths to see what kind of nonsense was being peddled. One booth was selling "ion bracelets". I never heard of ion bracelets before, but the advertising screamed "psuedoscience".
I told my girlfriend I wanted to investigate, and told her to follow my lead. We walked up to the booth and I asked the lady what ion bracelets were. She told me people don't have enough ions, and it negatively impact our health. She asked me to guess how many ions the average person has, then told me the supposed answer - saying we need about 10x the number of ions. I don't know what ions are but... I don't think that's how they work.
Then, she made a HUGE mistake. She told me to stand on one leg and to hold out my arm. She pushed down on it, I lost balance. She put the bracelet on, pushed down again, but that time I stayed upright.
When she began continuing her sales pitch, I interrupted her, "Oh wow, that's a new one to me! Here's one I like."
I told my girlfriend to put her hands behind her back and cup them together. I pressed down on her hand and she lost balance. The woman said, "I don't like to use that one, it can hurt people's backs."
I told her not to worry. Then I said "Now all I have to do is say is 'abra kadabra gobbledy gook'." I pushed down and... she remained upright!
The woman was silent, she knew I understood her game. I would have called her out, but I knew my girlfriend didn't want drama. So I bid the cunt farewell.
It felt damn good. Later on, I learned how her balance trick worked, and tested it on some friends. I'll be better prepared in the future.
