I have been doing allot of little stuff not worth filming. Lots of plug weld grinding in the quarters and the entire floor pan to the convertible rockers and then the welds from the convertible rockers to the factory rockers. Lots of tedious grinding and clean up work under the car. It's also now getting cool enough to do more work in the shop as well but it's still mid 90s here.
Yup but it's a simple 1" down and 1/8" to the back of the car for the Arning drop. No reason to spend the $ on a template. Just draw it up or print it out.
@@theinfernalcraftsman but if you screw up , you just wrecked the handling of your car and now you have 2 extra holes , better to purchase the template and be exact. By the time you measure and re measure and re measure , you can bolt the template up drill the proper size holes and be done.
They were a reinforcement that was added in racing way back and they have the side effect of keeping water dirt and gunk off the top of the frame as well.
Another enjoyable video. Your car is looking great . Thanks for sharing.
Looking great! Halfway through pans on my 68!
Good To see you getting back at it. Nice work.

They make a template that you bolt to the stock holes and is drilled for the shelby drop.

Do the braces strengthen the car or to keep water from pooling?
