    Nice bit of kit, there is such a variety of gear available, it can be bewildering!
    Thank you for the review Jonathan.

    Great review John, got mine last week and thanks for helping me make up my mind.

    I keep going back to this video. This amp makes this relatively cheap pickup sound so good. Jon is such a good guitar player and "host" of materials like this.

    I'm definitely gonna grab one of these… but I have to tell you the playing was absolutely impeccable.

    I think this Amp is popular among the jazz players for it's ability to reproduce clean sounds from a small enclosure.

    Sounds like a great little amp, Jon. Would love to hear strumming and vocals through it too. Your picking was fabulous. Are you still using it much?

    I have an AER 60/4 that I really like, but I really wish it had more low end. Seems like this DaCapo might make that up a bit. How do you feel about the low end response you are getting with the DaCapo?

    Is there any processing other than the amp on the Fishman MX-T pickups in the Martin SC-13e? They sound better than they do on other videos of this guitar. I am considering a purchase of this guitar. Would you recommend it or any other similar guitars? Thank you for posting such great content.

      Very slight.. just reverb and a touch of compression. Go check out my Martin guitars playlist✌️❤️

      @@JonIsJustTooLoud Thank you for your reply. I love the SC13e for its playability but living in Canada the Godin Branded guitars (Godin, Seagull, Simon&Patrick, Norman) etc. all seem to be much better values. Currently favouring the Godin Fairmount CH LTD Rosewood HG EQ as it is much less than the Martin SC here but is solid rosewood/spruce with an LR Baggs Anthem installed and action is low.

    Could i use this amp to play at home or would it be too much? Is it mostly for playing on stage?

    • @JonIsJustTooLoud
      @JonIsJustTooLoud  Před 3 lety +1

      This is just the amp sound without any pedals. The guitar used is a Martin SC13 E. Pickup is stock.. czcams.com/video/8l7LAIwewa8/video.html

      More power, two combo line/mic inputs, high pass filter, DI out and it's $500 less than the 60/4. That seems like a lot of improvements to me!!

  • @Purple_Pixel

    This video has such great production I am not sure I am hearing the production or the amp. It would have been better not to have had the keyboard backing track or the dual guitars. Just simple sound reproduction from the amp. Maybe with different pickups.

    • @JonIsJustTooLoud
      @JonIsJustTooLoud  Před 3 lety +1

      there's no keys...all you hear are the guitars being played as they are and mic'ed
