Well thought out and well presented review giving lots of clear information. Many thanks. I am hoping to buy one in the next few days!
Love your reviews, mate! I found your channel when I was researching a guitar that I ended up buying after watching your review. Your channel is top!
Thanks Rafael, glad to be of service! Which guitar did you buy? Ben
@@AcousticReview the Yamaha A5M
Thanks for the in depth review. Can you tell me if the Aux in signal is routed to the DI outputs? I would like to go to a recording interface from the DI 1 and 2 outputs and also use an Aux in signal. Cheers, Anthony McGrath, Glasgow
Thank you for the considered review. I do have one question when looking at similar reviews on the Internet. When people are strumming their guitars next to the amp with an open mic, I wonder if I am getting the true sound of the amp through the speaker or whether I’m also picking up the Guitar itself.
Thanks for the review and the really nice song excerpt Ben. Which guitar pre-amp do you use?
Thanks, I use a Grace Design Felix and I normally blend in a DPA 4061 with my K&K.
Regarding tone switch: I've seen on another review that it activates following EQ: -3dB @ 700Hz and +7dB @ 8kHz
Thanks, that makes sense - I thought it was cutting some mids and boosting some highs! Ben
Very good review, thank you. I’d really like to know what this amp sounds like with an acoustic guitar without a pickup, using a mic. I have a DPA 4099 as well as a Neumann KM184. What Tony ou think? Thanks!
Are your vocals coming through the amp...can you use it outside for busking...it uses phantom power what mike is it best to use ..is it better than AER..where is best place to purchase it...very good review...agree with your summary about reverb ..thats always been a problem ..on my Aer 60 can't really adjust it to taste although a very good amp..
Hi Keith - yes my vocals are going through the amp. This amp doesn't have a battery built in so you'd need some sort of portable power supply to use it when busking. Thanks for watching, Ben
Awesome amp! Sad that I can not find it in Brazil. Man... I gotta live in the US or Europe for being a musician with nice equipment! Hahahaha! Thank you for the review, Ben! Awesome work, as always!
Joe Robinson just made a nice video on this amp.
ive got schertler jam wood and the sound is very similar
I currently own a schertler jam 200 which stopped working but always loved it's big and warm sound. Would this Udo roesner sound thin by comparison and should I look at another schertler instead?
What about fx, is post or pre from the DI aux XLR ? Thanks and Congratulations
Is the vocal mic going through the amp as well?
fabriqué par A.E.R ?
Great sounding amp and demo, Curious , what Collings OM are you playing?
Hi Christoph, it's an OM2hT with a K&K Pure Mini fitted. Ben
