    Hello. Thank you for the video. Love your Roses and Easter finishes. To answer your question, I watch because you work on a great variety of pieces, and you're genuine and funny. I don't mind dog and life noise in the background! ⚘️

    Pleased stitch whatever you would like, don’t worry about what any of us think! If we want to start 15 Miras-we can. Also, if you want two of the same picture, go for it. If you’re just doing it as a demonstration you could stitch a small area or we can just be thankful that you shared the idea and try it ourselves. Life is too short to do crafts on anyone else’s agenda. I am just thankful that you share your crafting with us-whatever that is!

    Hooray a finish ! She is beautiful! Your fabric haul was fabulous and you are so correct
    about they totally different when you look at them online as to when you actually get
    them. The Beast has totally changed from the last video it's going to be a wonderful
    piece when done. Hey don't worry about being weird, that's what the world go 'round.

    Wow, so much gorgeous stitching! I haven’t finished the video yet, but I quickly wanted to say that in amazing grace there is a dot missing. Because the rest of the sheet music is so clear and easy to read, I noticed immediately that in the first whole bar of the bass line, the quarter note needs a dot after it. Musically speaking of course. I don‘t know what is charted. Now I can go and enjoy all the pretty things I haven’t seen yet without thinking about this.

    • @NeedleberryStitcher

    Your videos are so fun to watch - your Mirabilia finish is absolutely STUNNING 😍 I am by no means a pink or flowery type of person, but every time I see your fancy lady pieces I am sorely tempted to start a lot more lol. I am 100% with you on the no counting thing - I only do that if Pattern Keeper does it for me and even then I forgot to write it down sometimes 😅
    As some others have said, you should structure your hobby the way it will work for you and make it most enjoyable. Your videos are wonderful, dog noises and all. If you want to start 6 projects instead of 15, that’s totally up to you! Nobody is entitled to tell you how to do your stitching. Rant over lol. Can’t wait to see your new starts! 😊

    For your Year in the Woods series, since the finished size is important, you might consider using 18 count aida if you can't get 36 count linen or evenweave...
    Also, another option is BeStitchMe...I believe they are dying fabrics specifically for this series!

    Congratulations on your beautiful finish!!! Why I watch? It's great to see other stitcher's choices. I don't stitch fancy ladies, so I watch other people do it. Your video's are also informative (I'm a beginner. Why wouldn't it be good to keep stitching fabric in the plastic it comes in?). It is comforting to know other people are nerdy (and I am completely normal... ; P ) And you want to hear us say it right?...You're funny!

    • @NeedleberryStitcher
      @NeedleberryStitcher  Před 2 lety

      😂 You crack me up!!! 😂
      I’ve heard from a few other FlossTubers and sources that the plastic that fabric comes in can react with the fabric and change the color over time, so I usually take it out. I’ve never personally had that happen, but I’m not one to take chances - fabric is expensive!! 😅

    I love the Wisteria! I really like the mottling - maybe the Peaceful Purple is too peaceful for me! I’m a real Mira rebel when it comes to the background fabrics. I’ve only used the called for fabric on one Mira and that’s because it was a kit. Trust your instincts and do a floss toss and you will almost always be right. Your finish is absolutely gorgeous! That pattern has always looked like one of the more intricate to me, and you did a beautiful job! I can’t wait to see the frame! And don’t worry about resale stores- frames are one of their best things! No shame in that game! So save that extra frame $$ for important things like more Charts and fabric! Great video, again! Your Easter piece is beautiful. Backstitching in the light color really made a difference. When you frame it, be sure to let us see. How satisfying to get work done on your older pieces. They are looking great. Your Roses Mirabilia is stunning. The Year in the Woods fabric situation is frustrating. Maybe they didn't anticipate so many people stitching the patterns. But, I also found that the count fabric (14 count aida) I wanted to use was not available in every color, even if it was in stock. So, I have ordered a variety of colors of 14 count and am just picking and choosing for each animal. I think I will find a frame or stand and switch out the finished critters when I, or a grandchild, wants to. Have a great stitchy couple of weeks.

    It was so nice to watch another flosstube with you and your beautiful stitching. Roses of Provence is absolutely gorgeous on the fabric you chose. I plan to start Queen of Peace along with Mother's Bliss or Miss Ginko in May in the spirit of your Mirabilia Maynia. I plan to stitch the queen on xjudesign light blueviolet. I don't think there's anything wrong with scaling back how many projects you plan to start in May, but then I'm primarily a monogamous stitcher. Having two Miras going at once is plenty for me!

Between you, Fiberartsamy, and the Lucky Chance stitcher, I'm kitting up Mirabilias and Lavender and Lace as fast as I can. I was able to score Adia on ebay this past weekend for $17! Happy Stitching!

    • @NeedleberryStitcher
      @NeedleberryStitcher  Před 2 lety

      Thanks so much for watching! If I use hand-dyed fabric I usually choose 28 count because the fabric shrinks a bit in the dying process. If I use a fabric directly from the manufacturer (Wichelt, Zweigart) then I’ll usually do 32 count, although I think 28 count would be fine also. You might try stitching a small area and add some beads and see if you like the density with the 32 count, sometimes I have to fudge the beads a bit to get them to fit, although that could just be my beading technique causing the space issues. I do railroad sometimes if I can’t get my stitches to look nice, but not always, only if my thread is not cooperating 😂. Happy stitching, and thanks again for watching and leaving such a nice comment! ☺️💕

      I don’t always do skin one over one, lately I have been opting not to. I think the skin looks nice as charted two over two. Thank you for such a sweet comment! I’m probably not the best person to give tips on Miras… I’ve started several but only finished the one so far! You definitely don’t need to add beads if you don’t like beading, you can choose to convert the beads to DMC floss if that’s more your preference. Also, I much prefer using Petite Treasure Braid instead of Kreinik, it’s much easier to work with and I only use 1 strand even if it calls for 2 strands.
