I know the worlds genius is thrown around lightly these days, but Alexandr might well be the greatest accordionist of all times. He doesn't just play, he actually transcends what the instrument can do, make it noble in the process.
I think he may me one of best musicians of all time. No, I’m pretty sure of it.
I can barely imagine the coordination between the two sides of the brain to separate the hands, in addition to the prodigious memory of playing an entire concert from memory playing the role of the orchestra and the soloist. Phenomenal.

Moved my mother to tears of joy
Forget about the squeeze-box, forget about this is performed on an instrument that most people have mainly a negative attitude to. Just listen to the MUSIC. This is not great, but huge art. What a performer, arranger and improviser. Anyone who tried the accordeon, knows that this is perhaps the hardest instrument to play. Different systems in the right and left side, then the bellows (challenging when it comes to dynamics), 16 kg, heavy. I did.
I would rate Aleksandr as one of the most outstanding performers in our time. And I'm mostly into jazz/fusion and some classics. Think I have to pick up my squeeze-box again ;)

55 - melancholy in the beginning, but the accordeon can easily stir it up and enjoy itself! - ha, and than followed by the passion of the Argentinian piece, great work. Beatitully tuned instrument. What a joy to listen these concerts - pieces from all over the world - a declamation for 'world peace' ;-)
