How Can I Keep From Singing? - Sheet Muſicke Onſcreen- Olde Hymn Retune - True Intonation - A=432Hz

The olde hymn that pꝛedated the communiſt anthem; wꝛitten by Robert Lowꝛy.
I had much heſitation in making this retune video. Lowꝛy had ſome quite terrible connections that made me to ſeriouſly doubt the man. It ſaith on his Wikipedia page that he was a member of Phi Kappa Psi, an ouertly maſonic fraternity that was founded by a maſon. Lowꝛy was not iuſt a member but the pꝛeſident of the fraternity foꝛ two yeeres. There is not much infoꝛmation I could find online apart from that, but regardleſſe, I think this ſong ſpeaketh foꝛ it ſelfe. Moſt agree Lowꝛy did not wꝛite the woꝛds, only the muſicke.
This is the muſicke as Lowꝛy wꝛote it with the exception of the key and a few other extraneous things to make the computer playback the muſicke pꝛoperly; the key is vp a whole ſtep from the oꝛiginal G maioꝛ. I put it vp a whole tone becauſe with the midi inſtruments and the A 432 hz True intonation tuning, the timbꝛe was not right when ſounding in G maioꝛ. But actual voyces would haue no iſſue in ſinging it in G. I think there is ſomething ſpecial about it in A maioꝛ though. The ſopꝛanos high E's allow foꝛ them to enter into that girare range of their voyces foꝛ a beautiful dark reſounding ſound to iſſue foꝛth in thoſe ſections of muſicke.
This piece is a rather meditatiue one: to reflect on ones walk with Chꝛiſt.
