  • To day if you will heare his voyce, harden not your hearts, rather beleeue the engrafted woꝛd which is able to ſaue thy ſoule from death :
    Get a King Iames Bible and beleeue it, coꝛrect it not. It is the very woꝛds of the liuing God.
    Make SVRE thou art ſaued accoꝛding to that which is wꝛitten:
    1 Corinthians 15:1-8 KJV
    Romans 10:2-13 KJV
    * About the ſong:
    The text is taken from Iohn 14 verſes 1 thꝛough 7 from the firſt edition King Iames Bible. Ieſus is ſpeaking to his diſciples about how he muſt die and leaue them to reſurrect and goe to his Father in heauen and pꝛepare a place foꝛ them, and that he will come again. Ieſus when inquired by Thomas reuealeth who he is, God the Father, manifeſt in the fleſh. Ieſus, the Sonne and Woꝛd, being the phyſical fleſh of the Godhead with the Father being the ſoule.
    The Loꝛd had giuen me this ſong a few months ago, but onely now hath he giuen the power to oꝛcheſtrate it and intellectually conceiue of the time ſignature changes ſo they can be wꝛitten down.
    This piece containeth a few exotic interuals. Two quarter tones between C and B, the note E quadꝛuple flat (notated on the page as Ed). Becauſe there is no ſuch thing as a quarter flat, I repurpoſe what is traditionally vſed as a quarter flat as a quadꝛuple flat. E quadꝛuple flat falleth almoſt exactly half way between C and B. I onely realized this note was in the melody as I was putting it in the pꝛogram, though I alwaies ſung the E quadꝛuple flat while ſinging this piece.
    There is an Abb which appeareth in the midſt of a D maioꝛ choꝛd in 2nd inuerſion in the female voices on ſcreen. I ſtill doe not know how to explain it, but it is not a G. The G ſounded bad. It is ſome kind of blue note it ſeemeth,
    I pꝛay this is a bleſſing to you and that you take the Scriptures to heart, beleeuing.
