I've just returned after 5 months off from making content as I couldn't get the time to make the content I wanted to along with other commitments like e5.
Your content is YOUR content Tom, it's up to people to either keep enjoying it or just #### off.
Last video was quality, I’d love more stuff like that, was VERY therapeutic!!
I really enjoyed the last video Tom. You will never make others happy. Do what you enjoy and to fuck with the rest of them. You're content is fantastic.
Those PZ/S screwdrivers are magic for working on switchboards, amazing the difference the right tool can make!
Ignore the haters Tom. Produce what you want. Variety is the spice of life. And if people want tutorials send them to college or a skills centre. 😉
Love how you send the young lad upstairs with the steps. Man after my own heart.
I liked the last clip Tom.
me too :)
Tom: Good morning/evening (evening here). Regarding the conundrum of material for your videos -- do what you are happy with. You are very unlikely to satisfy 100% of the viewers for 100% of the time, but doing what you are happy with, you will undoubtedly find most viewers also enjoy that content 100% of the time. Be Happy!
4:25 Dave giving the 'head' a good blow!
i wish...
you do what makes you happiest. the motovlog i personally loved. keep up the good work!
Have to say that this video was bloody brilliant. You can never please everyone all the time, so keep making the videos the you want to Tom.
Loved that last video! A bit of variety is the spice of life!
I really enjoyed the last video, is really good to receive along side the regular content
It showed how well the all the equipment and being organised helps one to work better.
Just to let you know Thomas your work inspires me. I was originally going to get the qualifications as I spent many years working with electronics then being self-taught with electrics. Videos like this set my standards should I ever want to do this as a full time job. Right now as self-employed web designer I'm happy but as a fallback I've always wanted to become a qualified electrician and work to the standards you demonstrate in this video.
I don't usually comment on CZcams videos but while building websites I have you playing on my second monitor! Your work is inspirational and is 100% top quality. As for the time in video processing I understand that it's time you simply don't have and If you do its hard work. Myself and many others here really do appreciate the work your doing.
While I'm not a patreon I have turned off ad-blocker for this channel to give you a little something back.
Thank you.
Your completely right about your channel. People don't understand how much editing and time goes into CZcams videos. I think you're doing a great job :)
I like these videos a lot. Buzzing around London doing jobs, banter with your mate onsite. It’s basically what I do every day why I’m here watching you I have no clue..
I think you provide Great content. Top notch! I am also a spark from the US. I also see other spark from across the pond, but not really thirlled with there channel, not saying they are bad or anything like that. I think it’s your style, demeanor, and your outtake on life and your work. Just a note, I had the opportunity to work on a video production trailer that came from England and some work that was done to it. It was sent out to Brazil as support truck I think for 2013 FIFA or to cover other sporting events. Besides working on that trailer and seeing the differences was a great learning experience and what brought me to your Chanel more knowledge and why (porcedures, testing and other items). Thanks for your time and effort
Cheers for the feedback! Good to hear from an overseas sparky!
Variety is the spice of life though lots of jobs are routine. Dont try a cigarette to test. Colleague of mine could not be botheredto go back for tester so borrowed a ciggy. Problem was he had just given up successfully. It put him back nearly a year.
Thanks for the video's Tom
Hi tom like the vids the content is great.100% agree it’s yours to do what you won’t with.
Keep up the great vids
You are right, people don´t seem too understand how much time and effort that goes into making a clip/video they just want new content...soo thank you for the time and effort!:-)
Top job Tom
That's the spirit mate. Undeterred! Contra Mundum......
A great many of us love your content and the others who take the time to provide us with top quality info.
Those wera posi combis are amazing. They fit basically any posi or cross head screw. But yes for breakers they are ideal.
The last video was awesome Tom, very relaxing. Make what you want to make👊
Last vid was fine. Nice and chill music. Maybe I'm weird but I like the edited together sounds of the impact gun. I get snoozy from it. That with chill music, magic.
Your work looks very neat and tidy! :-)
love the content tom keep it coming
I personally felt the previous video was good and was chill which it pretty much stated in the title.... I have my own CZcams channel and I know what it's like with editing stuff so can fully understand the want for less work when your actually doing a proper job at the same time.
I liked your last video, I thought it was really well edited and relaxing to watch. I am a fellow sparky. Relate to your mood a lot in these videos. Keep up the good work Tom!
Another brilliant video 👍👍👍👍👍
Well done mate
I enjoyed the last one Tom. Bollocks to em all! 😎👍🤣🤣🏴
Personally I enjoy all your videos. Always fun and entertaining and educational with a top notch team. x
Tom. Easy for me to say but please do as you please. We enjoy your content because it is entertaining and informative. Your channel, your content and (sorry Dave) but well done for sending the him to the top. You proved you could do it by having gone yourself and then it was his turn.
great vid tom good job mate
I thought the last video was brilliant Tom. At the end of the day as you said at the start of the video it’s your channel and you wanted to try something new so that’s all there is to it really.
The last vid was mint mate - Keep up the good work
Hello Tom.
Sorry to hear some people didn't like Your last video.
At least You are trying different things.
Variety is the spice of life and all that.
I would just like to say, that, I for one, appreciate all the effort You put into Your videos.
It can't be easy doing that and keeping customers happy, doing electricianny things, paperwork, getting supplies, answering the phone, dodging sodding traffic wardens, taking stick from Dave, wrestling bears, solving world peace ………...
Thanks
Hi Thomas. Worth pulling the detector apart if it's a photo type and there's no "reason" why it alarmed. It could be the tenant smoking. But it could also be a tiny insect inside the optical chamber. Or dust build up over time. If I can't find a "cause" I replace because then if it does alarm again you've eliminated a whole lot of reasons.
great vid tom
Nice to see you bringing the earths into the bottom of the bottom earth bar. I do that too. Loads easier.
It's your channel Tom, if certain people don't like it, they know what they can do. 👍
Tom keep up the good work :)
I loved the last video
The next time I hear a fire alarm I'll look out for people with "pants around their ankles" before I leave the building lol
I actually really liked the new video
I never needed to go to the gym when I was testing fire alarms!
It's your channel mate, do the content you like.. if people dont like it then theres "Other channels" lol its not like the old days where your stuck on 5 channels lol.
Do what makes you happy. The previous video was solid.
Thomas I hope everything is going okay. Haven't heard from you for a while. I live in Meriden, Kansas had 2 inches of snow and 19 degrees today October 31 I'm a semi retired electrician and enjoy your videos. I still do some work for clients that flip houses.Have a great day.
Personally, I really enjoyed the “therapeutic” video. It’s your channel, make content that you like making. The naysayers can bugger off and start their own channel.
I’m newbie to your channel looking to go into go electrical engineering. Great content mate keep it up and the swearing 😀
I do like the previous video as well as motovlog video too. It nice and different, rather than same thing over again and again. Because it what keep your channel fresh 👍🙂
Loved your last video but it is what it is hopefully there another great idea more people will like that u like
Just want to say that your efforts are appreciated! Usually the assholes are also the most vocal ones..
Please keep doing what you like and experimenting. Like you say, it's YOUR channel.
All the best, from Belgium
Hello Tom
Keep it up
Good videos
love your videos when you post them, oh! snap on the swa zinc spray.
Last video like all of them was great Tom don’t listen to the negativity people can’t help themselves though ! Keep em coming. 👍🏻😃
Can only speak for myself, but I liked the previous video, sometimes its nice to see a change of pace.
You are a legend keep going
MAte that last vid was great!
The fire alarm would be Sherlock Holmes smoking his pipe again.
Ya di ya Di ya da ,the new catchphrase 😂
That last video was interesting, not my favorite but I still gave it a thumbs up for the effort and I certainly have no basis to complain. Keep 'em coming.
Tom, as I'm sure you know John Lydgate's famous quote....You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time”.” Don't let it get to you.
Thomas nagy great work
I noticed that you managed to install the external antenna on the radio. How is it working now.
What ever you find enjoyable filming then just film it and put it out there and don’t worry about the comments, some may unsubscribe but then on the other hand some may subscribe. You can’t please everyone 👍
Strange to hear the previous video wasn't well received, I very much enjoyed it.
Tony Calder what was the video about?
Cameras only work when you tell them to "FOCUS YOU FACK" ;)
Ha !, someone else that watches AvE.
Your channel your rules. Do what makes you happy, the keyboard warriors will always complain regardless.
Please do the content you want to make. I really enjoyed the moto q&a. It was bloddy funny! You do you 👍
Nagy is the man...
3:20 didn’t look too good a shot for you 😋
Nice banjo 👍
Hi Tom please can you do a video showing what power Tools and hand tools you keep in your van.
Don't be dismayed - I liked your therapeutic video!!!
Oh I love fire alarms...
Thanks for your videos. Where can we buy the slim down version of the smoke detector removal tool?
Tom, you do a great job with this channel and we are very lucky to have FREE content which in reality is TV/Netflix/Prime worthy... the way you have grown the channel to have a cameraman and putting out often 2 videos a week is amazing. A lot of people are very very grateful... don't listen to the arseholes... they're all across CZcams.
I liked the last video
Yes At look good mate keep up there good work on CZcams well done mate hove a good day mate
Like other people have said. Its your channel so do what you like.If some don't it- tough.Last video was great by the way.
I know it's easy to be wise after the event, but you are better off putting a 4" trunking above the fuseboard, it will give you much more room and scope for future cables..
Interesting looking radio mounted in your van. What is it and how have you installed it and it's antenna? Perhaps you could do a short video on it when you've time?
Good work btw I do enjoy watching your channel 👌
Bobs is looking like Obsessed Garage or AmmoNYC in regards to the car detail product layout
Alright ansome.... proper Devon talk 😂
Ignore the nonsense, I actually liked the video and was calm.
Probably takes hours just to get the memory cards together, on to a pc/laptop, chop and edit and then upload.
Keep going with any ideas you think will be decent, i've been watching your stuff for the last 2 years without a winge.
Cheers, thumbs up.
Btw a 4 pole isolator is used in TT systems when you have to isolate the neutral so there’s no potential difference the neutral and your main earth. But someone with your knowledge knows that!!!
My college teacher used to say "electricians that work on houses aren't proper electricians they are just people that work on houses " I've jus finished college in may and have just started site work as a mate
Hi Tom, you’re right about the channel being yours therefore you should do what you’re comfortable with and it works very well. I don’t know if you waste your time on Facebook groups but I am on a few and the standard seems to be these days to absolutely destroy anyone who asks a question. Just wondered your thoughts on this and whether you rise to it ever and it bothers you and if so does it affect your content?
For the neutral switching. In the netherlands and i guess a few more european countries it is a requirement to be able to switch the live and neutral. If the neutral is not switched off the system should be considered as hot. This is according NEN1010 or NEN3410.
Which radios are you using Tom? Mine aren't worth a W...
👍
Quite enjoyed the motovlogging, suppose you could also setup a second channel for the stuff you off off piste with. Personally i'd just divide it into two separate playlists, one for this sort of work, and the other for vlogging and other less mainstream stuff.
Hi Tom, can you please bring back an Electricians day in London Again or please do "A Day in the Life of an Electrician" I'm planning on becoming and electrical apprentice and that would really help seeing you✅
Don’t worry tom I’ve got your back
