Thanks for sharing your video and experiences. My Doctor has recommended I consider changing to either a Resmed N30i or Dreamwear Nasal Mask without pillows. I am leaning toward the Resmed N30i I especially like the hose connection on the top of the head and quick release for frequent over active bladder nocturnal activities 👀😉

Great video, best info on the internet. Just got my set up with Brevedia with nose plugs and will exchange for one of these top head swivels, side sleeper and restless. Thank you for helping.

Loved this video!! I loved having a step by step video instead of a Fast 10 second video that zoomed through and loud music!

I love the comfort of the P30i as I feel it is the least intrusive and restrictive for a side sleeper that I have tried so far. When you are laying on your side it does not force your nostril to squish so you feel like you receive more air. However, the only issue I am trying to overcome is the warm air feeling from the intake air. Even at a lower temp setting, the air does not seem to cool the way it does with the full mask.

When you take the vent off the nasal pillow. Cleaning the vent part, do you clean it with the mesh (filter?) On? Can it get wet?

How do you take off the nose mesh filter on the pillows and how often do you change it?

I believe I have the smaller women’s version of this mask... but I notice, despite cleaning, a white film costs the inside of the tubing of the mask. I’ve also noticed it gets dirty faster because if this film. There should be a cleaning tool you can feed into the tubing

The inside of the frames will develop a film quickly if water is left standing after cleaning for too long. Next time you clean them, try hanging dry upside down so gravity can help. You can then put your mask back on your machine, and turn it on for a few minutes before putting it back on your face. This will push out any remaining water droplets. Hope this helps!

I squeeze hand soap through the top and room hot water through the entire system and wash the face piece everyday. Then soak everything once a week.

Kaiser really sucks. They did not go over anything and sent me home with the P-10 that rolls in my hair everytime I try to move. This is the first time for me and feel overwhelmed trying to wear the thing. Do these you are taking bout have a better fit nose wise and strap?

My health plan required that I use Apria. CrApria also sent me home with not much help either. The package included a DVD. I had to setup my DVD player which I haven't used in years. Then it occurred to me to check CZcams for the videos. I found most of the videos on CZcams. Why doesn't Resmed just include the links in the package?

Hi Tom, yes we hear that a lot about some of the big national chains. It is unfortunate because some insurance plans will not even consider opening up their networks to local suppliers like us.

    • @LiveWellCPAP

Hi Ruby, it is always worth a try swapping out your mask. The headgear and frame on the N30i and P30i do seem to a lot more stable. Also, any supplier you get your products from should honor the 30 day mask guarantee that Resmed and Respironics provide. It basically means you 30 days to return your mask and try something new at no cost you. The supplier gets reimbursed by Resmed and Respironics. This may be too late this time but keep it in mind next time you get supplies.😀

The p30i has a major flaw. Major flaw. Because the air tubes are soft as soon as you lay on your side the air tube collapses and you are only getting half of the air. The only way this unit will work is if you tie yourself to the bed so you cannot turn onto your side.

To anyone reading this, the system is designed such that even in the above scenario, full pressure is delivered via the non-compressed side of the head gear.
