Hi Ollie and Camilla, The idea of two chandeliers in your dining room is a great idea. Keep in mind the size of the room and the size of the chandelier. Usually now more than a meter (39") wide and 1/2 meter (19") in height are good proportions not counting the chain to the ceiling. We are restoring and renovating a mid-century modern 1950 ranch, updating but keeping the original concept but filling the interiors with 1950 - 1980 high end Asian - French European furnishings. Of course everything is bought on the second hand or antique market. The only way we can afford to do it. Mark & Scott

Loved all the places you visited in Madrid, Camilla and Ollie. They were very opulent and just so beautiful to see and experience in your own way. Thank you for sharing your trip with us. I never thought of Spain in such a way before I watched your channel which I have been watching for a long time. I bought a pretty fan in the little markets in the Leaning Tower of Pizza and a really gorgeous umbrella for the sun and one also in Hong Kong and I just keep them to look at. 😊

Thanks for taking us along, especially the fan shop! With regard to your kitchen light fixtures, unless, and maybe even if, you have a very good vent hood, I recommend getting something that is easy to clean and/or something that does not show dust, grease, and their combination--grime. I know someone who had no vent hood, used their stove and oven at high heats as if it was a professional kitchen, and selected chandeliers made of material and with glass that could not be cleaned. The glass on the fixture was frosted had small irregular dots of white paint all over. It was in a large bowl shape or upside down dome. Looked great, for a while. Completely unpractical.
