That churro goes perfectly with chocolate, it looks so delicious!
Every kind of bread at laa de la bakala is very attractive, and I think I will consider for a long time before ordering it!
I really hope McDonald's can sell calamari sandwich in the future. It is more attractive than ordinary burgers. I will definitely buy it!
Casa Danny's tortillay will definitely be a hit in my country, it's perfect for breakfast!
Stuffed mushroom is what I wanted to try the most, I didn’t expect the mushrooms in Spain to be so big!
Whoever invented using two sticks as a tool for eating it must be a genius!
Thanks a lot for sharing, really great job as always! 👍🥰🙌

Too many food vloggers waste time and footage filming close ups stuffing their face and mugging for the camera. Luke mercifully avoids that. He also takes time to show parts of the place he's visiting, like his stroll through the park and Plaza Mayor. It gives us an idea of where he is, not just what he's eating. Madrid is a beautiful city and Luke shows us that there are other attractions besides good restaurants and cafes.

7:45 Those are "calamares a la romana". Nobody ate them with bread until the 60s. Then, somebody in a bar thought that those calamari, which couldn't be well preserved for the next day (there were no freezers like we have today), could be "acceptable" in a sandwich for the hungry young people after partying all night for a small fee. And thus the "bocadillo de calamares" (calamari sandwich) was born. People liked it, and up to today.

San Ginés is totally over-rated. Los churros y chocolate is much better in Chocolat on la Calle de Santa María. The chocolate there is much better than San Ginés. Just because the building is very old, it does not mean what they serve is good. It is a tourist trap, unfortunately.

Don't be ridiculous. San Ginés is an institution. There are plenty of chocolaterías, of course, and you might prefer one over another (I prefer "Valor" for the chocolate, not the churros, for instance), but the churros at San Ginés are perfect and the quality of the chocolate is good. Not the best in my opinion, but very decent. In fact, San Ginés is the most popular chocolatería among Spaniards, and it's a tradition in many groups of friends, when young, to start the year there on the 1st of January morning after a night of partying (they are always open). No, definitely San Ginés is not a trap for anybody. If you prefer others more, it's up to you, but you can't discredit a business just because.

    Disappointing video.
Luke is getting tired of his endless travel and it shows!
Classic French music instead of Spanish music.
    "I don't know who's statue this is"
"These pigs are eating almost exclusively acorns" - No they don't! Because acorns are only available for a very short period of time in Autumn!

I think you are being quite negative. Please dont forget, that this a free channel. And Luke doesnt claims to know about history and things like that, its about food in his videos.

I thought this video was good. I’m pretty sure he didn’t choose the music. If you’d listen, this is not a voice over. And who cares if he doesn’t know the statue? He’s not a tour guide, he’s a foodie. I have seen a million statues all over Europe and couldn’t tell you who most of them are. Buddy, go there yourself and read the placard. Geez!
