Funny, all I use to do when I first started flying in SIM was fly bombers. Then when I felt confident enough to fly fighters, all I did was hunt bombers. I still go after bombers but not as tenaciously as I use to.
great videos and flying in cockpit view is a real hard thing to do. i fly in cockpit view on il2 and dcs and trying in war thunder but just started so not sure when i can start in sim battles , only tier 2 now in usa tiers
Thanks man! You should start war thunder sim battles right away and you'll get the hang of the cockpit view in no time:) Practice and patience. Good luck with the grind, USA have some awesome aircrafts!
I know I could ask this on one of your newer videos but what are your graphics settings? Mine are either garbage to get visibility or really nice looking but I can't see planes against the ground.
I don't use any special settings for spotting. I use the maximum graphics settings the game allows. I know spotting can be difficult against the ground on some maps. I like flying on Dover strait for that reason. Otherwise I guess looking for tracers and flying near objectives is good too. Also asking in chat is good!
If you have the patience to line up a good attack run where you come in fast, it's relatively safe. Depends a bit on which bomber you are hunting too. Maybe stay away from the players with 20mm turrets in the beginning.
@@involuntarycommander8804 very true, slowly but surely I’ll get a nice set up to play sim, been playing since 2013 and took a year break and now I’m wanting to learn some sim
Pls how is your control so smooth? Could you pls share your settings. It's quite frustrating after getting behind the enemy aircrafts and I couldn't hit anything
I play with a Hotas and I have settings for every different aircraft I fly so I don't think sharing my settings will help you. But the most important setting for stability is probably to tune your pitch axis. If you want stability you have to turn down the pitch axis sensitivity. The settings which feels stable to you may be different for different aircraft. Note that if you turn the sensitivity down on the pitch axis for more stability you will sacrifice turn rate and also the ability to pull up from high speed dives. Also, you should practice with the same aircraft and your muscle memory will develop. Best of luck to you! :)
Thanks, man. I have different settings for different aircraft. If you want a smoother aim, you could try to lower the pitch axis sensitivity. But be careful not to overdo it since that will limit your turnrate. Flying boom & zoom aircraft like the FW190 is not that hindered by low turnrate as you should not engage in a dogfight with it in most cases. You could start there perhaps :)

It ain't much, but it's honest work.
Wow so it's not only me that do this lol
"Спитфайр" - очень хороший истребитель. 👍

Good hint about the convergence. I presume you're not using vertical targetting.
It really helps when shooting at range!
Not using vertical
Snyggt!
Would you recommend bomber hunting as a start for someone who is new to sim?
