Typhoon Mk.1b | War Thunder SIM |

The Typhoon is perhaps not the best dogfighter which is why I thought it best to showcase one of my favourite aircraft in a game mode where it actually excelled historically - as close air support. Don't get me wrong, the typhoon can still hold it's own in a dogfight if you play to it's strengths.
In this video I fly a Typhoon mk.1b in War Thunder Ground Simulator Battles in the 5.0 battle rating bracket.

Nice work. You should go into settings and tick ‘Jettison pylons on last ordinance’ it gets rid of bomb/rocket racks when you’ve used all stores. Every little helps.

amazing flying as usual, how do you maintain situational awareness??? I always get people on my 6 at sim

Thanks! I try to check all the time. And remember where I saw a plane and anticipate where it could be.
But as you see I in the video I almost got shot down in the first match and later got shot down in the second.
Awareness is probably one of the most important aspects of the game.
You'll learn to do it more often with experience. Happy Christmas!

Hi i habe a request: could you maybe do a Video on how to identify enemy fighters by their Silhouettes and stuff thats the main thing ive been struggling with

The best advice I have for you is to get close and identify the aircraft you are pursuing before you shoot. That will spare yourself the embarrassment of team killing.
You will learn enemy plane appearances with some experience.
Also air SB will tell you if it is a friendly when ur close. Ground SB will not tell you if it is friendly even when you are close.

hi quick question how do you counter the left yaw due to the throttle? do you use some sort of auto trim or u have pedals installed? cause with joystick is annoying to always yaw manually through the whole flight and i was wondering if there is some counter to this

I'm not at the computer at the moment to check, but I think I have made a small aileron trim for the typhoon.
I am used to compensate the yaw a bit too.

@2Dark03 sim for ground vehicles. You can also choose to fly as a plane and bomb enemy tanks. Its pretty fun 🙂
