How is the bottom of the unit (that interfaces with the floor/subfloor) supposed to look like? I have this item purchased from Home Depot, and it appears to have styrofoam over an OSB board. Does that remain or get removed for installation?
@@thickwenis Having just installed this and dug deeper elsewhere, it should be installed as it appears coming out of the box. Nothing should be removed from the base of the unit.

The instructions and the video just don’t add up. I learned more from the comments from the people who actually installed the shower set. Oh, there is no list of recommended sealants and adhesives.
Can this be installed on top of a tile floor?
Can you install the shower base over vinyl flooring and the wall enclosures over drywall if already present?
