Bought this faucet for $600. It’s beautiful but, the neck piece broke after about 2 years. The don’t sell a replacement for it. Only the pull out sprayer. I Don’t recommend this faucet for the price not worth it more American/Chinese crap let them pieces of crap companies eat that crap I won’t buy another one.

Immediately experiencing issues the day its installed. Why did we even bother getting this touch faucet.

I purchased one of these and was very disappointed when I opened it. The channel between the back panel and the side panel do not even overlap at the bottom. Why would it be designed this way? It completely relies on caulk which is known to fail. I am hoping I can return this unit.

Excellent video. I remove the mixing valve every fall and winterize our cottage. Then in the spring I re-install the valve. Should I lubricate the rubber pieces with the springs on the adapter? Also my hot side is directly in the middle.

the only thing that is poorly documented (all websites I've see so far that sell the trim kit T13391), is IF the trim kit includes the cartridge or not. (so if you install a R10300-UNWS, then go out to get the associated trim kit T13391 - no seller (customer service) is sure if the cartridge comes with that trim kit or not - they never mention whether it does or not) or should I say, that Amazon mentions that the cartridge is part of the trim kit (R10300-UNWS), you look up the trim kit and there is no mention of it being part of the kit...

Well guess what? What you have selling in stores for this model doesnt connect like this. Get your inventory caught up to date in Home Depot. It isnt right that you are selling something and your written instructions or videos dont cover what's actually in the box. Im ready to throw this thing in the street.

I have access in a basement below the floor level to install the rough in plumbing, so it makes a lot of sense to me to caulk & screw on the drain assembly, along with an adequate length of 2” straight pipe already glued to the installed drain assembly, THEN mount the shower base into the adhesive. This way, I don’t have to worry about trying to glue the straight down pipe leading to a P-trap at the floor level- the down tube is already glued to the installed drain assembly.

Something must be wrong with my Delta Monitor 1700 Series - My hot water thermostat is set to 125F but after following this video at the hottest setting I can only get 90F in the shower. However, the bigger problem I have is that I can only adjust the temperature 5 degrees in the shower. (85-90) I need a much greater range of control. I like hot showers, but I also take cold showers. The Delta Monitor 1700 Series does not allow me to have enough control over my temperature.

How big of a hole saw should we use for this install? The standard deck installation specifies 1.5", but you don't specify a size in this one. Is it the same or 2" to accommodate the cardboard tube?

Silly to include the teflon tape instruction. That's unrelated to delta 17t series kit installation.

Shouldn't the drain plug be down below the PVC pipe opening? If you plug the top, there can still be a leak below that that will not show with the way this drain is plugged. You should be using an inflatable plug designed for testing drains to make sure you don't have to tear everything out if you end up with a leak..

Omg that looks so flimsy and cheap. Delta should be ashamed.

Do you use a moisture barrier on an exterior wall? And if so, do you still use the sill plate gasket & adhesive?

I think that Delta is about time to update on that, Moen is easier to install, welding is already out of fashion.

Make sure you check that everything is plumb and level- but we have no idea what to do if its not…

The video is very misleading...Caulkess system...no...easy to install...no...How about showing the process in a referb bathroom instead of one that is perfect. Foam tape is in the wall enclosure box but is taped to the pan...duh.

I couldn't get the sides to snap in either so I applied dish soap to sides and back wall connections...slid right in.

My confidence to install the faucet has tremendously increased. Thank you for a great step by step guide.

The drain plug diesnt push all the way down so it doesn't stop up the drain. How do i fix this?? @deltafaucets
