I'm a decent carpenter/painter but I've been left to finish some remodeling on my own which includes the shower unfortunately. My other half died suddenly two years ago now and I have everything to finish this job right here and I just needed this kick in the rear. He must have known 😅,,thanks for showing up in my feed at the right time.
Thank you, hopefully this helps simplify the process and reduce any problems for you
@@HomeRepairTutor Thank you. I'll let you know how it goes. 🙂
Excellent reminders. Great videos!
Just installed a shower with an extension arm. It’s a good thing I checked.the drop ear needs to be flush with the tile to install the shower arm for the rain Shower. otherwise the trim piece and arm wouldn’t of worked
Good example of a potential problem down the road! Great job seeing that ahead of time 🔥
Awesome vid!
Thanks so much! What a huge help.
Glad it helped! 🙏🏼
Seriously excellent video!
Thank you 🙏🏼 I really appreciate your kindness
I did mine all copper, the rest of the house is copper, i had the tools and only had to buy a couple pieces for my remodel. one thing i do Not like is having the handle too low, the instructions on the fixture say to keep it about a foot from the spout. but i was tired of bending over to turn the water off and on, my valve is probably about 18 inches above the spout. i like the way it looks better and it's easier to use, I also used the higher grade copper specifically for the tub spout connection to the valve since it's likely to receive more abuse.
Assembling delta shower valve
Contractors set the valve too deep, now everything is done, including tiles, is there a way to fix it from the back?
This was good atuff
Thank you 🙏🏼
