This is your calling in life. Excellent video. Naming all the fittings and codes without useless banter is rare indeed. Learned more from these short videos than hours spent with plumbing books. Please make more free videos.
No matter how simple, no matter how good it is explained, I can always turn it into a disaster! 👍👍👍
If there's a way for me to mess up, better believe I will find it 😫😩😭
Y’all funny, God bless
What a nice guy you are! Thanks for this meaningful information for all of us DIY homeowners. I live in a rural area and plumbers will either not answer their phone, not show up during hunting season or come in with an extravagant quote.
Thank you very much!!!
This is one of the clearest and educating CZcams I ever seen. Job well done.
I watched this video before i became an apprentice last year and was confused on everything 😂 now here i am a 1 year apprentice and this video is incredibly easy to follow. I appreciate the help from back then!
How did you start?
WOW! Awesome!!! This is what CZcams, Internet should be!! Very Well Done!!!! Saludos from Laredo, Texas. I'm about to redo a two story home that I want to rent out and this REALLY will help me out. Thank you
I'm just reinforcing the already positive comments by saying, your diagrams are sooo helpful. It's one thing to know your craft but to be able to explain it and SHOW it for an average Joe like myself, makes a world of a difference. The visualizations paired with your narration, were splendid. Thank you!
Subscribed. Who needs school when you have great teachers like yourself, and you'll eventually get paid by CZcams with enough views. It's a win win for everyone. Trying to get a raise soon.
N3VADAN 👍
Cash-to-the-mere Cash-to-the-mere I want to beat up my plumbing instructor
Eddie W 😭😭😭😭😭
Did yall really go to school to be a plumber?
That's the way it should be, some of the lower youtubers get like 60k a year.
WOW! This has to be the best video I've ever seen on the topic of bathroom plumbing. The explanation is top rate and the descriptive nomenclature is an invaluable resource. And the free diagrams are a big bonus. You have a new subscriber. Thanks so much.
Just spent the $50 for the blueprints and online help, worth every penny!
Man, you know your stuff ! Your explanations and diagrams are second to none. Thanks for making this video and please continue to do so. I gave you a thumbs up and subscribed.

This is the second one for the basement bat. czcams.com/users/postUgkxOuLt8IL_GxhhaK8DBuKEL-zV0UJVpWZn , works great
One of best “how to” videos I’ve ever seen.
One more quick tip, if your vent goes straight up through the plate line, it's a good idea to offset the vanity vent so there is no conflict with the electrician's light box.
Typically the entire drain, including the vent, is going to be offset a few inches from the centerline of the sink to allow the required p-trap to be installed under the sink during the finish. If the centerline of the sink is used as the location where the waste line is accessed, it leaves very little room to install the trap and is going to make for a messy looking finish.
Awesome video. Not only explaining how to but the piping specs are JUST as vital. I hope he does one for each fixture, walk-in shower, tub.
Wow !!!!!! WOW !!!!
clear and simple " how to"
Looks easy to do .
Great video..
Dang! I never knew Owen Wilson was so proficient in plumbing. Great Video!

Great video and so informative! Thank you for the diagram! The flex seal I put on as an emergency "temporary" fix 3 years ago is starting to fail.
I could tell you some stories about flex seal that I’d rather not.. 😅
Wow - great job showing how it all fits together with details included. Thanks!
Great video. So much plumbing information in 6 minutes. 💯👍🏽 thanks for video. Im subscribed 💪🏽
You sir, are an excellent teacher. I came here to see what fittings were acceptable when a vertical drain dumps into a horizontal line. Now I will chech your other vides to see how far my toilet can be from the vent. Thanks

Great information...broken down, into easy to understand language along with the code references. Thank you!
I am no plumber but your video is so great explaining things I had no idea of. Thanks.
I remodel bathrooms for a living ....at least it exists now. Great job explaning and illustration
Wow!! Well presented with great visual aspect..👏 👏 👏
Please check ot our page, we're new and working hard to see what people think about our videos!
Great video,im a plumber from Baltimore, it has been rare to say the least in all the complete trash I've found on CZcams that your video was so spot on. There are more ways to do the same rough-in and if you introduce flood level rim at it's height of 42" or optional 6" above the fixture being served it would round out a very well explained video. Nicely done
we would value your feedback on our latest plumbing video!
PLEASE make more. you are literally the best plumbing breakdown video on youtube!!!
Finally found a no-nonsense video that tells you what to do!
Wonderful Work My Friend and I absolutely Love the 3D Modeling. I could go on but .......... Subscribed !
Thank you! It's so hard to get clear, understandable diagrams and information that's not full of plumbing jargon. We are in the stages of trying to figure out if it's feasible to DIY a bathroom in our basement. I've looked at dozens of videos and this is the only one that made sense to me.
Glad you found it helpful :)
@@Hammerpedia can you please listed the materials that you use for the plumbing please . Thank you
Very brief, but yet very informative. Thanks everyone.
Fantastic video. Best I’ve seen over MANY years.
I don’t do this stuff every day so I forget and need a refresher.
Awesome job!!!

Thanks Konny.
Definitely glad i finally found the correct video and i am also knee deep in a bathroom installation, stay tuned. 👍👍
One of the Best videos I've seen on CZcams regarding this type of information. I will be subscribing now.
This is how we did plumbing in Australia 60yrs ago, venting every trap is a waste of time and money, all you need is a vent at the beginning of the line and a vent off the main line if the junction line exceeds 10mtrs, never pulls a seal, tried and tested around the world for decades
yup this is just wrong you can wet vent the tub/toilet through the lav
American standard. Lol
Iirc you can do a circuit vent like that in most of the US but I think it's mostly done on commercial construction.
To be honest the codes are obsolete so best off just getting parts and making it fit
It is America mate. Suprised they don't use 200mm with all the rubbish they eat.
Great well made helpful videos. I always find that if you off set the waste for sink that its easier to install the P trap.
Great instruction. Thank you for the time and effort you took to make this video and share it with us. Greetings from Croatia.
great videos, love the graphics, you think you can make a video how to install a macerating bathroom/toilet/shower!!
Nice it would be awesome if you made a app that would teach this information and interact as well. Like different plumbing situations that are common and use United States plumbing codes to help inspiring new plumbers to complete the jobs correctly!
Amazing video and overview. You explained the parts and codes to the point even I can keep up. :) Yeah I know this doesn't cover all local codes; but at least now I can write up my plans. Thanks so much!
Very Clear , Good and Informative, Thank You !
This video was randomly on my recommendations and its entertaining to watch eventhough i dont do construction
Best plumbing video ever....
lol no it isn't this is so wrong. You can vent a while bathroom with 1 vent. And you don't need your 3" to be directly underneath
Greetings from Atacama, Chile. I have to admit that this channel is amazing, thanks for sharing this valuable information.
I’ve never seen a video done as well as this. And I have watched hundreds of tutorials, walkthroughs and projects to completion. Thanks man.
Thanks for those kind words!
Very helpful. .Tx alot
Thank you, this is exactly what I was looking for!
Very informative, and your bathroom illustrations make it easy to see and understand!!
We def agree with you, please check out our page as well!
I’ve been watching you for what seems a couple years.
I remember when you started making these video series to put out there.
It’s great to see that you finished them.
Great info for plumbing.
Main thing is...you created it...you did it Bro!

Great!
Great video this will help me a lot thanks. San Antonio,Tx
thank you for your time and sharing all that information
Great, informative video! As a homeowner, I've always wondered how the clean out ties to the plumbing system!! I have a hidden clean out. I know exactly where to look for it now!!
we show you how to rough plumb a master bath!
In 6:17 min I learned a lot thanks
This was awesome! Thank you for sharing. Do you have a video that shows how plumbing from all rooms (kitchen, laundry, etc.) connect to the mainline and into the septic tank?
Harrison Woodard 👍
Thanks you for the diagrams it is helpful.
one of the few useful videos on CZcams...ever. thankyou!
Well done video, I noticed that there was no mention of grade/ slope, on the 3 " horizontal run . Keep up the great job.
3” & under is 1/4” per foot.
4” & above is 1/8” per foot.
8” and above is 1/6 per foot
You would be such a great instructor, everything is up to code here.
Perhaps down-sizes water lines next ?
Not in Australia! all the underfloor pipes are 4” and the sink drains to a floor waste trap in the middle of the bathroom.
outstanding video ... you do a great job making these
Wow thank you from all my heart for this great video
Thanks for making these awesome videos and providing great content for everyone! This is great for the motivated DIY who wants to do things right.
I'm doing a bathroom remodel in the near future and the new layout will be identical to bathroom #3. The only problem is that it's on a concrete slab and I can't figure out where to put the cleanout. Can I extend the 3" pipe backwards (against the flow of water) to the nearest stud bay and have a cleanout inside the wall behind an access panel? I want to do this right with a permit, and screwing up the cleanout will probably fail my inspection.
As a plumber apprentice, his videos help me a lot too! I don't have the best teachers so I have to figure a lot out on my own.
Very nice super
Thank you.
this was great, thank you form making this.
Thank you for sharing and educating the homeowner.
How to vent identical bathrooms that are stacked on top of each other? Does each fixture have a vent that goes up to roof or should there only be one vent through roof? I just started working as a drafter I'd appreciate any help
