Yes, I had to cut n soldier the wires to be able to feed them through the cable chain. My kit came with one of the pairs ordering incorrect on the filament reader sensor as well required and cut and soldier.
Is there going to be a part 2? Hopefully you go it all working together. I've seen some successes, and some failures on youtube with the ERCF. The successes seem to be the guys that do this for a living (e.g. Nero3D). I've got an ERCF kit and will be tackling this soon - right after I get my Voron Switchwire built.
It loads and unloads great, Everything works great except filament tip forming extractions and purge tower tuning. Over the next 3 months I expect to get this tuned. My tips have long hairs on them and they need to be clean spears. I also need to tune up the filament paths on spool setups
@@jc84com lucky you, I'm having too many problems and it's not reliable, the creation of the tips works well but before the filaments flowed out of the blocks, then I printed the triple decky, that problem was solved but now sometimes it says filament stuck in extruder , but it's not true the filament slides away effortlessly, sometimes it tells me that it couldn't reach the extruder but instead the thread is inside, other times it can happen that it slips and I also put on the n5 top hats, I'm in losing hope

@@aokiomar256 I did. But I have to re calibrate it now I have a new dragon ultra high flow hotend.
ercf is a total waste of time in my experience
Funny that. I found ERCF so good. I have ERCF on both my Voron and Ratrig
